Twilight... on a Saturday night?!?!

I hope that everyone is having a good weekend :)

I am still trying to get rid of this ridiculous cold that claims to have permanently moved into my head! Sheesh!
No, it's not Tuesday ;) I know that my Twilight stuff is usually showcased on Tuesdays, lol!, but it's my blog and I can do what I want to :D hee, hee!
I have had this lil BasicGrey Lunch Pail sitting on my shelf for months now - empty and naked... collecting dust... and I saw a pic of a similar lunch pail in a scrapbook that my sister gave to me... some ideas clicked around in my head... and here is what I came up with :)

My very own Twilight Card Tin... I finally have a spot to store my Twilight cards!!!
I've been hording this paper forever!!! It's even prettier in person! It's by Cloud9Design (Sparkle Wedding Romance DP) - a division of Fiskars! Yea, I didn't know that either ;)
My little sis gave me some beautiful new Primas (Belle Fleurs)... the sparkly lettering is from Making Memories (Shimmer Alpha Stickers)... dew drops are the perfect touch to everything ;)
Could this be Bella before her transformation??? lol!, 'cause I know afterwards her eyesight is perfect... Magnolia Study Tilda stamp - I colored her in with my copics and spica glitter markers... gold, white and silver ribbons also from Prima.
Here I used Prima Black Diamond Fabric Fancies with All Natural Accent Red Roses and Red Hibiscus flowers that I got from Little C's - I personally think it's a beautiful combo ;) lol!
Now I have a spot to hang my key chain to ;) I added some ribbons (misc.) and fibers (EK Success)...
... side view
... back view... wire black/white/gold ribbon from Michael's dollar bin.
Almost done...
I found these really cool Making Memories frames and just had to have them...
I finally made some Thank You cards with them...
Beautiful... right? lol! I know what y'all are thinking ;)
Frame Card Details:
Stamp(s): ~
Paper: Bazzill CS, Pink Mini Dots Faux Suede DP
Ink: ~
Accessories: All Natural Accents Red Roses and Red Hibiscus flowers, Making Memories Sabrina Vintage frames, Making Memories Chloe's Closet frames, Silver CS from UK, Prima Black Diamond flowers, Darice self-stick gems, Fiskar Lace corner punch.
Thanks for stopping by :)
We are expecting a snowstorm tomorrow night! eek! Just when I thought that spring was around the corner...
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

Project 365 Update

WoW! This is waaaay overdue!

I feel like I owe y'all an explanation... don't worry, lol, I will keep it short & sweet ;)

My pics were being "borrowed" without permission by certain extended family members that know that I would not be a very happy person if they were to take the pics and make them their own... I have had to revamp my whole Project 365 process, so these 'persons' could not continue to claim that they took the pics and were involved in whatever family thing was going on at the time... I know - it's really sad... and I feel badly for these persons... but at the moment, it is what it is...

Sooo, I will be updating my Project 365 pics occassionally, highlights of the week :)
but I will not be dating them and they are now going to have that annoying watermark on them from now on ;)
Here's a few :)

Yea! I finally received my bookcase!

...and it just managed to hold all the 'important' books, lol!

Roses from my sweet boys - all 3 of them ;)

Nicky and Mama

Matt and Papa

My loves and I :)

Thanks for looking ;)
Have a fab weekend!!!

Little C's Weekly Challenge - Color Combo #2

And the Tuesday fun continues ;)
Here we are! It's time for Little C's Weekly Challenge!!!

I'd like to take a sec to thank Jen and all of the Diva's for letting me be a part of their team this month! I've really enjoyed working with this very talented group of ladies :)
Thank you!!!
This week we were challenged with a great color-combo by Rina!

I have to admit - I'm really bad with color-combos, lol! They always stump me! I was lucky to have all of the colors handy, I was afraid that I was going to have to pull out my 'secret stash', LOL!!!

I've really been loving adding flowers to my creations!
Please click on the Little C's banner above to go directly to their online shop :)
Hmmm... Like my side-ways bow? hee, hee! I tried, but it just didn't want to go any other way!!! I decided to give lil' Anya a headband... and that lil flower she's holding - it's covering a lil boo-boo I did when I was coloring her, lol! I love how the Spica markers give her a lil shimmer on her skirt and shoes!
I've been trying to do the insides of my cards again... saves time looking for matching papers later on ;)

Anya Flower Card Details:
Stamp(s): Dorothy Anya DS, "Enjoy" sentiment from Unity's February KOTM
Paper: Bazzill CS, Cosmo Cricket "Twist & Shout - HoneyPie: Ella" DP
Ink: Copic Markers, Spica glitter markers

Thanks for looking!!!

Don't forget to go and check out the other Diva's creations ;)

MacKenzie of Midnight Scramper

BTW!!!
I was going through my pic files last night and look what I found...
This was my FIRST Little C's Weekly Challenge entry dated 8/13/08!!! That was 6 months ago! LOL! I remember struggling to make this lil Monkey card :) I sooo desperately wanted to join in on Jen's challenges!

All I had to work with at the time were 2 stamps sets, a handful of DP, one package of different colored CS, adhesive, a cutter, one brown ink pad, 24 brads and Crayola Crayon pencils ;)

I think I've grown up a bit since then... seems sooo long ago!

Just for kicks and giggles, you can see the details to my Monkey card here!

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!!!

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration

It's Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge time!!!

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #20!!! We are already up to 20! Time really does fly! ;)

This weeks theme was chosen by Jen of Deconstructing Jen...
"I thought it would be fun to focus a little on the new scenery we will be seeing in New Moon (only 269 days): Italy. Specifically Volterra square. I’m excited that we’ll be seeing one of the most picturesque beautiful landscapes in the world with some of the riches historic architecture ever created."

Comment Portion:
Tell us if you have been to Italy...? If so, what did you like best? Have you been to Volterra? and/or what are you hoping the director of New Moon will capture about Italy...?

Craft Portion:
"Revel in the beauty of Italy!" Showcase the landscape, culture, food, music... anything that breathes the essence of Italy.

I've never been to Italy - Oh how I wish!!! Italy is definitely on my top 3 places to visit in this lifetime ;)
I really do hope that the director for New Moon can really capture the intensity of those Volterra scenes and also the beauty surrounding them at the same time. Although, to be honest, I'm sure that while watching the movie, especially for the first time, all eyes should be on Edward ;)

Unfortunately, I do not have a TTIC20 project to share with you... BUT I do have my Twilight Tuesday Sketch Challenge :)

I've really been enjoying making all different sized layouts lately... I hope I didn't stray too far from the original sketch... I tried to keep the 4 panels and definitely the hearts... I have been dying to use these papers!!! ...and they weren't very easy to work with!
The gold/turquoise DP is very delicate, kinda feels like a very thin piece of foil - I had to be extremely careful not to tear it apart... and the red scroll DP is also very thin, almost see-through, it's a velvety kind of paper - extremely soft to the touch! Both were also very difficult to adhere, lol!, there is all kinds of different adhesives holding this together! 48 hours later, nothing has fallen apart :)
12x12 Twilight Tuesday Sketch Layout Details:
Stamp(s): ~
Paper: Bazzill CS; The Paper Company Turquoise Embossed Paisley DP; Unknown Scroll DP; Worldwin Red Veluum.
Ink: ~
Accessories: All Natural Accents Red Bunches of Roses; Dew Drops; BasicGrey Heart Sticker Chipboard; Prima Gold Ribbon; MustBe Black ribbon; Fiskar Lace corner punch.
Now it's time for y'all to go and check out the Team's TTIC20 creations ;)
Rebecca, Bella Carta
Don't forget Twilight Tuesday Inspiration February Blog Candy ends 2/28th!!!
Please have all comments/crafts submitted in by 2/27th!
