Really, really fast...

Hi friends!!!
I've decided to take a bit of a blog-break for the weekend and maybe a few days after...
I've finally caught up with most things, like emails, lol! If I didn't respond to you it may have gotten lost in the 174 emails I had this past week and that's not including all those from last weekend's blog hop - gasp! Please re-email me, I feel really bad that it took me so long to get back to so many!
My to-do list has shrunk in some ways and grown in other parts!

Here's a peek!

1) 3 Card swaps (5ct, 8ct and 9ct)!
2) 4 Thank you cards
3) 2 sympathy cards
4) 5 B'day cards
5) Pics to download, print and share!
6) Clean living and dining room carpet area!
(Bought the machine 2 weeks ago! lol)
7) and every other everyday thing that needs to be done!!!
8) maybe feed the kids too ;)
Isn't she the cutest?!?! We've been lucky! She was wee-wee pad trained within the first 2 days! (only until she gets her shot, then we will train her to go outside)... she has slept through the night with no accidents or whining! and has not ripped anything apart (yet!)!!! She's a good puppy! Miley Rose is going to her first vet visit today! Wish us luck :)

Tonight is also Scrappy Night at the elementary school! It's themed for Father's Day - I still have to get all my stuff ready for that! and I'll share sometime next week! along with what we made last month - I have to get that finished this weekend too!

Ack! Just remembered that Nicky has T-ball pics tomorrow morning at 915am!!! Must add that to the reminder list too!!!

Going now - taking 2 Tylenols, picking up Nicky from Pre-K, lunch, vet, shower, dinner, scrapping and then passing out!
Must remember to set alarm clock for tomorrow morning... sigh...

Have a fab weekend!!!
Love you all!!!

This is a stamp from Jessica Lynn Original stamp called "Punny"... it says,

Then it hit me."
LOL!!! Love it!!! Perfect! Especially since this is what happened to my poor hubs when he played T-ball and then he never played again! ;)

Stamp(s): Jessica Lynn Original "Punny 003" Stamp
Ink(s): Stampin Up Basic Black Markers; Copics
Accessories: Stampin Up Buttons; Misc. Ribbon.
Here's another stamp that I purchased from Jessica Lynn Original!!!
My very own personalized stamp!!!
It looks almost exactly like my very own handwriting :)
Thank you Jessica!!!

**Our 2nd challenge will start today and end July 4th!!!**
Inspired by last weekend's Cards For Heroes Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop :) We would like to help Cards For Heroes by having you create card(s) (preferred size is 4.25" x 5.5) for our troops! You can create/submit as many cards as you like! and mail them to me and I will forward them all to Cards For Heroes!!!

For each card that I receive in my hands you will earn an entry to win a prize!!!
Here's some basic info for the kind of cards they would like to receive :)

What kind of cards do service members prefer?
"We're told that general cards are in greatest demand since they are not time-sensitive: miss you, love, birthday, thinking of you, hello, thank you. They send cards to husbands and wives, mothers and fathers, children and friends, so any of these themes directed to any of these audiences are fabulous!"
What kind of cards should I avoid sending?
"No glitter that will flake off the card—it is a safety hazard; it can make a mess on a uniform and make a hero visible to night-vision goggles! Please do not send suggestive or risqué cards; we do not wish to offend any of our service members. Funny cards are okay, but keep them positive and upbeat. "
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to leave a comment at Sissy's Scrap Challenge and/or email me, Margie (mescrap@rocketmail.com)
Let's get creating for a great cause :)
Imagine how happy you will make not only the service person that will be using your cards, but the person that he/she sends it to! Their parents, spouse, kids!!!
You have until the 4th of July!!! Plenty of time to create and/or dig in your stash and send some cards in!!!
Thanks!!!

Sissy's Scrap Challenge #7 and Flowers

Hi there!!! TGIF!!!
Have y'all been having Blogger/Explorer problems too??? This is the first time that I have been able to log on without any problems - sheesh! So sorry to be posting my stuffs so late, but here it is ;)

Challenge #7 for Sissy's Scrap is to create a project that is NOT a layout or card inspired by... FAVORITES!!!

... it can be a compilation of personal favorites, someone else's favorites, whatever you'd like, just remember, no Layouts or cards!
I hope y'all can make a lil time over this holiday weekend to join in and play with us!!! :)

Let's see... I have sooo many favorites things - it's too hard to narrow it down... so, I'm using my #1 inspiration, my boys! and another fave - Cosmo Cricket DP to help!

A new fave of mine is altering anything that I can get my hands on ;)
... AND as long as I stay away from bows - ribbon is really working for me too!

Sooo, here we have to gorgeous lil boys sitting in some very plain shadow box frames...

... and look at them now!
I think that they look a bit more cheery now :)
Frame Details:
Paper(s): Cosmo Cricket Lil' Man DP
Accessories: We R Memory Keepers 'White Out' Layered Chipboard Words; Me & My Big Ideas Soft Spoken 'Oh Brother' embellishments; Stampin Up Ribbon; other misc. ribbon.
I also wanted to share the details to the pic I showed y'all the other day - when Blogger/Explorer were behaving ;)
This was an idea that I had for Nicky's PreK Teachers for Teacher's Appreciation Week, but never got to it... last Monday, I got a class note from his school stating that on Wednesday they were going to do a ceremony in honor of Memorial Day - the students were being asked to bring in a flower to place at the memorial/flag and to wear red, white and blue... I just knew that I had to make this! and it took me 4 hours! LOL!
I overworked and overheated my poor lil Slice machine, lol! It made 42 individual flowers - creating 2 of the first flower, 8 of the second flower and 10 of the last flower = 20 in total!!!
I attached a tag to each flower - each one of his classmates and teacher's received their own personalized flower. That was the hardest part - stamping their names onto the tags and then tying the tags onto the flowers! Next time, I'll scribble the names on ;) LOL!
It made me happy to know that every kid in class was able to participate and enjoy the festivities!
Details:
Paper(s): Creative Imaginations
Stamp(s): Stampin Up 'Short & Sweet' Set; Hero Arts Clear Stamps; K&Company Alpha Stamps.
Ink(s): Stampin Up Basic Black Markers; Spica Black Glitter Marker
Accessories: $1 dollar 'House' pencil holder from Michael's; Red Chenille Stems; Stampin Up Bold Brights Buttons; misc. ribbons; All Natural Accents Red Hibiscus Flowers; Dew Drops; Making Memories Slice Wedding and Basics 1 Cartridges.
... and thanks to y'all for stopping by :)
Enjoy your loooong holiday weekend!
Happy Memorial Day!!!
