My Revised Scrappy Spot Makes Everyone Happy :)

Let there be light!!!

Most of you know that a few months ago my family and I moved into a larger apartment :) and I was able to use my master-bedroom's walk-in closet as my scrappy spot...
Well, let's just say that even with the door open and 3 lamps later, lol, it wasn't bright enough! and, I couldn't do much without having my boys come into my room - total chaos! LOL!

So here's my new spot in the living room! Everything fits here, except for my Epic Six - I kept a very small table to do my diecutting still in the closet... You don't see it in the pics, but I was able to hide my cardstock and Slice in the lil door at the bottom of the desk :)
All of my Copics and small tools fit in my Making Memories carousel :)
The green magazine holder holds my DP...
... and did ya see what I got for my b'day last month!?
Hubs bought me a Notebook! :)
Here are my boxes...
This is what is inside of the boxes on the top shelf... see the big box on the right?
That is every single stamp that I own - mostly TGF's, hee hee!
Boxes on the left hold my embellies and 3 ink pads...
I don't have much, but everything is precious to me ;)
... and here are the boxes that are stored on the bottom...
One for punches, one for my precious and much horded Primas and the last is all my ribbon :)
There ya have it! My lil scrappy spot! It's perfect! and my boys don't complain about being stuck in the bedroom anymore, since our kitchen, dining and livingroom is an all open layout AND they get to see their movies on the bigger TV! LOL! ;)

Thanks for stopping by! OH! and don't forget to come back on Monday! I have some exciting news to share ;)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!! :*)

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Color Combo Challenge 2 - Bella's Thoughts

So sorry for being a bit late, my Twilight-y friends!
Here is this week's Twilight Tuesday Inspiratioin Color Combo Challenge...

From Alison:
"This week, my colors were inspired by Bella. I chose Garnet because originally, that was her favorite gemstone (before she went & changed it to Topaz for Edward’s eyes!). Next, I picked Phoenix Sky Blue because Bella frequently mentions how she misses the colors of her hometown. Lastly, I decided that we need to throw a neutral into the mix, so I picked Forks’ Sky. It’s a grayish green. Don’t get too thrown by the shade I chose… if you just use a regular gray, that’s fine! But if you wanna try to really wow us… go for this a little more interesting, if not a wee bit dreary color! Can’t wait to see your creations!!!"

I must admit, I had a bit of a hard time with this combo - Forks' sky threw me off a bit, lol, I was over thinking... and then I found this beautiful Cosmo Cricket paper...
Here's what I came up with :)

If you look closely, the DP's designs are in sky blue and greenish-gray... couldn't help adding the black ;)

Card Details:
Paper(s): Cosmo Cricket EverAfter DP; Papertrey Ink White and Black CS
Stamp(s): Ippity Stamps - Straight From the Heart sentiment; The Greeting Farm Rubber Stamp
Ink(s): Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Copic Markers; Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pens
Accessories: Cuttelbug Vine Embossing Folder; Spellbinders Small Circle Nestabilities; K&Company Pearls; Making Memories Black Tie Trim

Please visit my Twilight-y chicas for some more color inspiration!!!

Have a rockin' Tuesday!!! :*)

It's a Mermaid Boy!!!

Howdy! Yea, I know I said I was taking a bit of a break 'til Tuesday...
but who can not resist coloring in this cutie :)

First, I'd like to thank everyone who commented on my mini-Guest Designer, Nicky's, post!
He LOVED all of the responses that was received! and loved even more learning about where y'all come from! He grabbed the Atlas and couldn't belive that so many people in the world can see his stuff :) Too cute!

Thank you sooo very much for making my boy smile from ear to ear for days :)

"It's a Mermaid Boy!!!" - that's what my boys screamed when they saw Mer Ian, lol! They never knew or thought that a boy could be a mermaid too :)  and what a coincidence it was to watch a special Dora movie all Dora saving the mermaids kingdom - boys and girls! It was a fun afternoon!

So here's my lil Mer Ian for The Greeting Farm's CHA Relay Contest! I usually don't make cards everyday, I always try to do a few at a time, but like I said, who can resist anything that comes from the Greeting Farm ;)

Once I printed Mer Ian, I pulled out my Matey Set, thinking I would be using Pirate Anya...
I decided to go with just the sentiment and handsome blue papers with a bit of distressing -
Ian deserves the spotlight :)
Look closely (or click on pic) - see my boy sparkle for me!

MerBoy Card Details:
Paper(s): Imaginisce-A Shore Thing DP; Graphic 45-Renaissance Faire DP; Papertrey Ink Kraft CS; Neenah White CS; American Crafts White CS
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm Mer Ian Digital Stamp and Matey Set Sentiment
Ink(s): Copic Markers; Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pens
Accessories: Recollections Gem Swirls; Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities; Making Memories Trim

Have a fun Monday everyone!
Thanks for stopping by! :*)

Prairie Fairy Fun Friday Week 3

Sorry, I thought I had pre-posted and wellllll, I didn't! LOL!
So much for having my card done days ago! Geesh!

TGIF!!! It's time for some Prairie Fairy fun!!!
This week's Fairy Fun Friday Challenge is...

ANYTHING GOES!!!

Make what you want, 3-D, scrapbook page, card, whatever you like.
Just make sure you use a Prairie Fairy image :)

Here is my card using Sugar Fairy and some delish BasicGrey Nook & Pantry DP...

This is a 5 1/2 squared card - I accidently printed the image quite large, but wanted to color her in regardless :) I wanted to make her dress a yellowy-pink color and didn't realize that it would obviously blend together and create orange and pink ;)  Anyhoo, I love how it turned out! I used my Copic Glitters - 'cause we all know that only vamps and fairies sparkle!.... I think DH just hurt himself laughing with that one ;)

Card Details:
Paper(s): BasicGrey Nook & Pantry DP; Neenah White CS; Papertrey Ink Kraft CS
Stamp(s): Prairie Fairy Sugar Fairy Digital Stamp Image
Ink(s): Copic and Atyou Spica Glitter Markers
Accessories: Spellbinders Labels Eight Nestabilities; Prima Flowers; Prima e. Pearls; May Arts (?) Ribbon; Fiskar Border Punch

Have a wonderful Friday and Weekend everyone!

Going to take a bit of a bloggy break and will be seeing you bright and early Tuesday morning for some more Twilight Tuesday Inspiration and my last Die Cuts R Us Design Team related challenge - sniff, sniff...

He's baaack... My Mini-Guest Designer :)

Good evening :) Sorry it took so long today for me to get this posted, but my mini-guest designer has been sick with a virus and double-ear infection and it took until late this afternoon for him to take pics of his cards, created this past Monday, with word-for-word directions as to what to say and how to post them, LOL!

So here he is! My lil guest designer for the day... Nicky!!!

"Hi again, my name is Nicky and I am now 6 years old... I have some projects I want to show you now :)"

"My first project I had to make for my class project for school last week. We read stories about a snowman, so we had to make one too... I used lots of stuff from Mommy's stuff - I promise, she let me use it :)"

(look closely, he loves my Papertrey Ink Buttons and Making Memories flowers and trims!!! LOL!)

"My Tio {uncle} Sean hurt his leg and the doctor had to fix it last week, I miss him and hope he gets better soon. I made Tio Sean a card to tell him... I think that glitter glue is really cool! Crayola makes cool colors for kids like me, you should buy it, it makes your projects cooler!"

(Nicky is very sentimental, he doesn't like to talk about when anyone is sick or hurt...)

(Oh! and you can find those lil aliens and ships at Prairie Fairy!)

"This is my cherry icecream... why don't they make pink, fluffy cherry icecream?
I think I would like it plain..."

(Hence, the plain card, hee, hee!)

"This is my Harry Potter card! He makes magic and likes to fly on brooms!"

(Image above and below can be found at Pink Cat Studio Digital.)

"And this is my dinosaur card project! He wants to go to school and learn and grow up to be a T-Rex soon!"

"Thanks for looking at my projects today! I had fun making it all!... and I'm feeling better, just coughing and stuff. BYE!"

LOL! There you have it my friends! My little Nicky is growing up so fast! and I love him for letting me grow up with him :)
I just got the okay to go ahead and post - he made sure that it all looked good first ;)
I love my lil munchkins!!!

And yes, lil brother Matt was around and creating at the same time, but he doesn't want to take pics or show you, lol! He doesn't want people to see it yet! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm sure you can guess that any and all comments would very much be appreciated!!!

HUGS!!!

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge 60 ~ Red!

Sorry, I'm running a bit late today...
I'm baaack with Twilight Tuesday's Inspiration Challenge!!!

* Please scroll down to the next post to view this week's Die Cuts R Us Sketch Challenge. Thanks :)

Here's this week's challenge from sweet Erica...

"I love red. It is one of those colors that envokes so much emotion. Whether it be love or hate, red is passionate. When watching New Moon I just love the visual of all the people in red capes at the Saint Marcus Day Festival."

Create a project either using the color RED or expressing the what red means to you.

Comment portion: Tell your best "red" story. Is it that great red dress that caught everyone's attention, have you "seen" red before, anyone like Red Velvet cake? Anything goes!

I tried to use Twilight Tuesday's Sketch Challenge # found HERE, but I forgot about the 4 uneven panels, lol! Sorry! Next time ;)

However, I did borrow There She Goes Color Combo Challenge 38 - Red, Pink and Aqua

... and look! No dew drops! LOL! DH had commented that I use them too much! Well! They are my fave type of embellies :)

I don't have a "red story"...
but I think that red is sooo sexy and exotic!
Red reminds me of not only love but passssssion -
An obssessive kind of love!

Ya think Drucilla might be going a bit overboard???
Hee, hee!

Please visit Twilight Tuesday's blog for more challenge info!
... and don't forget to visit the Twilight girlies for some more red inspiration :)

Thanks! and enjoy your Tuesday!!!
You know that I will ;)
