A Sorta Sneak Peek and 100th Day...

Good Sunday friends :)

Last Tuesday, Nicky's school celebrated their 100th day of school with a 100 themed project to create a "100 Museum"

Here is his project!
He loves space and decided to go with a space theme...
10 Stars
10 Comets
10 Astronauts
10 Suns
10 Moons
10 Earths
10 Saturns
10 Rockets
10 Spaceships
10 Aliens
= 100!!!
Nicky informed us that his project placement was the prime spot in the room!
He was the only one that was aloud to use an easel,
everyone else had to tape their's to the wall or prop it up on a table...
he was sooo happy to have the corner spot by the bathroom ;)
hee, hee

I'm soooo proud of him :)
He did such a wonderful job! I didn't help much - I only guided were the circles should go to make sure that all 10 circles fit on the paper - he managed the rest by himself!

Here are some close ups... Astronauts...

Digital images/stamps ROCK!!!
We ran out of spaceships,
so Prairie Fairy's Digital Images came in to the rescue and filled in our empty spots :)

Here you can also see more images from Prairie Fairy - the Aliens :)
I love how he created the Suns, Moons and Earths!
Just added glitter glue to create the rays, craters and either land or water...
I've got a smartie-pants here ;)

Here's my sorta sneak peek ;)
I haven't had a chance to download my pics yet... so tomorrow you'll have two cards to drool over ;)
LOL!!!

So don't forget to come back tomorrow for Pixie Dust Studio's New Release!!!

"Down the Rabbit Hole"

Thanks for stopping by on your off day ;)
Enjoy the rest!!! It's going to be another fab week!!!

Good morning!!! and a happy Saturday to you all :)
It's time to get extra scrappy!!!

Oh, Alice! Challenge 2 -
CHAPTER TWO: Running in a SKETCHY circle...

"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don’t much care where..." said Alice.
"Then it doesn’t matter which way you go," said the Cat.

l. Commit to a 6-month term
If you decide after a few weeks that you do not wish to continue, let us know.
Things come up, and we understand.  We just ask that you make a good, honest college try to make it through your term.

Well, that looks a lot worse than it is, doesn’t it?!  We just want to be clear what is expected… you will get lots of exposure from this gig if you play nice!  Everyone loves to see their hard work appreciated!  Ours is a labor of love, for sure – all the time and effort we put into our masterpieces is worthy of being seen!!

Interested? Duh! Here’s what you need to do:
Gather and email the following to GroovyGurlz@stampinsanity.com:

2. A link to your blog so that we can visit some of your other creations!
3. A paragraph or two telling us about yourself, your crafting world, any previous Design Team experience (NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!!!) and why you want to be a GroovyGurl.  You know, besides the fact that you are groovy and all…
4. Do this by 11:59pm EST on Friday, March 5th.

Newest GroovyGurlz will be announced on Monday, March 8th.

Please be patient – we will let you know if you have been selected.  And while we anticipate a difficult decision – there will be Guest GroovyGurl spots opening up and we will keep your names for that selection when the time comes!

Pink or White???

G'morning :)
The question of the day...
Are flamingo's really pink???
Well, they're actually white...

Courtesy of Ask.com:
"Yes, flamingos are born white but because they love eating shrimp all the time, over time the white flamingos aquire a pinkish color from all the shrimp. Once the flamingo is fully an adult it should be almost completly light to medium pink."
