BUZZ By Anytime!!!

Goooood-morning-MONDAY!!!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday and weekend :)

I have a Bumble-y and fun card to share with you today! It's a card that I've had in mind to create for a quite a while and I am so happy to have finally been able to have a moment to create it! I adore it and I hope you will too :)

This lil flutter-er is "Bumble Bee" a Lollipop Digital Image by Lori Boyd that can be found at Claudia and Company (Die Cuts R Us)... I colored him with my Copics and then popped him up - I wanted to make him look like he was buzzing around ;)

I used my much loved Nikki Sivils "Willowbee" 6x6 paper pad - my poor little pad has finally fallen apart from using it so much :)  BUT I still have SO much left of it! Happy me!

BTW - You can find more Nikki Sivils 6x6 pads at Die Cuts R Us! I looove them all! So much so, that I haven't used the others I own, excuse: not done drooling over them ;) hee hee!

The sentiment is from my new to me There She Goes "Bee Happy" Stamp Set! Loooove it!!! I cannot wait to create more bumble-y things with this set! It comes with more buzz-y sentiments and a few bees too!

Oh, Alice! Chapter 41: Off With Their Heads!!!

I'm sorry I'm late with my post for today!!!
Please don't "off" my head for it ;)

"Let's go on with the game,' the Queen said to Alice;
and Alice was too much frightened to say a word, but slowly followed her back to the croquet-ground.
The other guests had taken advantage of the Queen's absence, and were resting in the shade: however, the moment they saw her, they hurried back to the game, the Queen merely remarking that a moment's delay would cost them their lives.
All the time they were playing the Queen never left off quarrelling with the other players, and shouting `Off with his head!' or `Off with her head!' Those whom she sentenced were taken into custody by the soldiers, who of course had to leave off being arches to do this, so that by the end of half an hour or so there were no arches left, and all the players, except the King, the Queen, and Alice, were in custody and under sentence of execution."

Welcome back to the land of wonder and where the saying, 'Off with her head' is a regular statement!
Well here on Oh, Alice! this week, that is exactly what we want you to do.
This week we want you to take your stamps and yep you guessed it,
'Off with their heads'
So we are asking you to alter your stamps and mix it up a little by giving them a new head or body.
Ohhh this is going to be sooo much fun seeing what you come up with!!!

Up for grabs this week is a Scor Buddy from the lovely people at scrappingreatdeals.com.
So off with their heads for your chance to win this awesome prize.
You have until the 3rd of December to play along with us.

Here's my card...

Woo hoo! I just noticed that this is my 800th post! Wow! Took a lil over 4years to get to this one, LOL!

This was a really good challenge for me ;)  I have never attempted to alter a stamp/image before (always too scared to try, lol!) and I just knew that I had to give in and try it out! Took me a looong time, but I think I succeeded... even though I had to cheat a little and use some of my clear stamps for this, hee hee!

First I stamped MFT's Pure Innocence "Happy Mail" Stamp and then I used another Pure Innocence Stamp called "Being Cute is What I Do" - I decided to add a lil blue to her outfit and color her hair blonde for a bit of an Alice-look to her and added some paper piecing using my new October Afternoon "Modern Homemaker" papers from my yummy TE Key Ingredients Kit and put my card together using the latest SFYTT Sketch Challenge :) Thank goodness for awesome sketches, right?!

After I had finished my card, I realized that maybe I should have wiped off the letters that she's holding behind her back too, lol, oh well! Maybe she's mailing her letter to Santa then since my card does have a Christmas-y feel to it ;)

Please be sure to visit the rest of the DT to see their amazing and inspiring creations too!
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Saturday :)

Happy Wednesday and the day before Turkey Day :)
My boys and I have a ton of chores to get done before tomorrow! We also want to start our Christmas decorating too! We looove to spend Thanksgiving morning in our pjs watching the parade while having brunch in the living room and then getting the last minute details all done for a super early Turkey feast :) I hope that everyone is enjoying their last minute deets too ;)

I wanted to quickly show you a card that I created and within 24hours was used by someone who specifically asked if I had something like it! Don't ya love when that happens?! It was meant to be ;)

This is sweet "Baby Jackson"! Another Puddle Jumper Digital Image (also available as a stamp!) by Lori Boyd for Claudia and Company (found at Die Cuts R Us)...
Ok, so I know that Baby Jackson is suppose to be a boy, lol! but I couldn't help but wonder how versatile he could be, and I think he turned out pretty cute as a 'she' ;) hee hee! I struggle with the color purple, so I was determined to make another purple card that I like - and I think I succeeded ;)
That night, a friend FBed me asking if I had a Baby Shower card that she could use, and bonus if it was in purple! ha! Perfect timing, right?!

A Gift Tag for a Friend :)

Happy Monday!!!
For everyone who celebrates, are y'all getting your Thanksgiving Dinner shopping done early?! hmmm?! Now that I am older, I really enjoy everything about celebrating Thanksgiving Day :) Especially the food part, lol!
Lucky for me, my hubs manages a market, so it is rare for me to have to do any kind of food shopping, especially for the holidays! This year, he ordered us a a fresh Turkey rather than going through the whole thawing the frozen one out for daaaays process, lol! Can't wait to taste it :)

I have a sweet lil tag to share with you today!
This sweet lady bug image is called "Lady Baby Bug" and she is from Baby Bud Designs...

Hmmm, I'm thinking that this could possibly pass as a Christmas-y tag... maybe not, lol! But it's perfect for any other occasion, right ;)
Everything used on my tag was pulled out of my leftover-scrappy-bins! This is one of my fave lines from Cosmo Cricket, so bright and cheery! and I am completely still addicted and head-over-heels for Kraft CS! I just can't have enough of it!!!

I hope you likey!

Don't forget!!! You still have time to enter Baby Buds Monthly Challenge!!! Go HERE for more deets :)
A new challenge will be posted on Friday, 11/26th!

Enjoy the rest of your Monday and I'll see ya tomorrow with a surprise release from one of my DTs ;) hee hee! Stay tuned!!!
Later gators!!!

My {Mini-Guest} Harry Potter!!!

*Please scroll down to see my Oh, Alice Challenge post, thank you :)

Sooooo, who has seen the new Harry Potter movie?!?!
I have to wait until next weekend to see it :(
but we're celebrating anyway ;)

I wanted to create something for the new release, but with the week I've had, I just couldn't find the time nor the energy... but my Nicky made something for me :) and I'd like to share it with you...

There's Harry Potter, Hermione, Ron, and Dumbledore (he is not aware that poor Dumbledore died in the last movie) and yes, Nicky "borrowed" all of my Pixie Dust Studio images, lol!...
on the left side, he drew Harry's dragon from the "Goblet of Fire" and on the right, the castle is in the background and he even created a Dementor - which according to Nicky, they're not so scary once you get used to them, LOL!
Nicky will be 7 in a few weeks, I know he's a bit young to watch the movies, he's only seen pieces of a few of them, but he has seen all the trailers - it's been hard keeping him away from the scary parts since he thinks he's a big boy and can handle it all ;) Maybe he can, but I can't help being a bit over-protective of my babies ;)

Thanks for letting us share!!!
Have a wonderful and creative weekend :*)

Oh, Alice! Chapter 40: "Hooka Are You?"

"Who are YOU?" said the Caterpillar.

This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation.

Alice replied, rather shyly, "I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then."

~Alice's Adventures in Wonderland,Chapter 5

Welcome to the mad world of Wonderland! Once again we are here to inspire you to create great things! The Caterpillar (Absalom) was the wisest creature in Wonderland. At least he thought so, and so did most of the others. He is a fascinating character because of his wisdom, and his lack of understanding metamorphosis. Kind of a weird oxymoron, don't you think?

Our challenge this week is to use either a caterpillar or a butterfly in your project. If you'd like to go one step farther, use a definition or dictionary paper in your design (any subject is fine).

If you are fortunate, you may find yourself wisely winning your choice of three 4x6 reprints from our sponsor, Maigan Lynn Beaudoin Shaw. FanTASTic!! Maigan is such a delightful artist, and the team appreciates the chance to work with one of her images!

Here is what I created using "Mad Fancy"...

Such a beautiful whimsical image! I created a 6x6 layout - I wanted to concentrate all of my colors mostly on my mer-Alice and incorporate only colors that I relate to Alice and Wonderland... I thought that the printed faded black DP and swirls would add to the whimsy feel of the image and story...
Sorry that the pic came out so bright, I was trying to get a good angle to show the sparkle that I added in...
I really love how it turned out, and hope that I can find the perfect frame to put it in :)

Remember, you have all week to play this challenge!
Link your project to the Oh Alice! Challenge blog by
midnight, Friday, November 19th to be entered in the drawing.

Happy creating!!!
And enjoy your weekend :*)

It's time to play in the "Toybox"!!!

Hi again! I'm sure that we're all happy that it's finally Friday, right ;)

Today, Pixie Dust Studio has a new adorable and fun-filled digi collection to release!!!
"Toybox"

Here's "Plushie the Pony"...

Isn't she the sweetest lil pony!? SO fun to color!

I also have another cutie to introduce you to! but I had help with this one! My boys saw my printouts on my desk and couldn't restrain themselves from helping me with these, hee hee! I haven't had a chance to print any out for myself yet, so I'm using their's to show you ;)

 Here's "Gamer-A-Saurus"!!!

Matthew (4 1/2) wanted his first 'saurus to be rainbow-like to represent the Mario Bros. game they always play (Galaxy 2)... and the second one is orange, well, because, orange is a good color ;)

Nicky (almost 7! eeek!) wanted to go all out with a Mario theme! His first one is Mario riding on Yoshi, and the second one is Luigi riding on Yoshi - he's pretty good with his background coloring too ;) hee, hee!

We hope you likey!!!

Here's the entire collection...

Available NOW at the Pixie Dust Studio Shop!!!
