I just can't stay away :)

Hello my friends! It's true! I just can't stay away, lol!
My mojo has been on overdrive! It seems that my electronic devices are cooperating (shhh, don't say it too loud, just in case, lol!) and our summer schedule is well on its way :) I have a huuuge pile of cards to share, I don't even know where to start, hee hee! 

So, since today is Thursday! I thought I'd start with this week's 

Pixie Dust Studio Challenge!!! 

This week's challenge is to create a card/project using... 

Red, White, Blue and/or Stars 

I decided that I needed to use sweet Wink for my card today... 

I can totally picture my boys hanging out in the yard and making pretend with Wink!!!
I wonder where they'd sail to... ???

It's time to take some time off!

Yes, it's time for me to definitely take some time off the ol' blog here!
For the last 2 weeks, I have had blogger issues, internet issues, camera issues and now the ol' laptop has decided to be difficult and I cannot get it to turn on properly, it seems like it's wiped itself clean of all programs, who knows what is going on in there... sigh...
It's been very stressful; and I have had to sit back and remind myself this morning that my blog is not a job to stress about. It is my hobby! My cardmaking helps me relax! My DT work is for inspiration and fun! and because of these tech issues, it has not been that way.
I will be taking the next week, or two, off from blogging, commenting and my DTs. I hope everyone can understand and be patient with me! I'm so sad, since I will also be missing out on some wonderful opportinities too... an e-magazine article and a Featured Artisit spot... snifff... 
In the meantime, I will definitely be getting my creative groove on! and I hope that all of these 'issues' will be fixed asap so I can share with you again! In a non-stress way! and on a regular basis again ;)

The Last Day of School!!!

School is officially over for us!!! Woo hoo!!! 

My lil guy is all done with Pre K and is FIVE today!!! 

My big boy is all done with 1st grade and is SO excited for the fall :) 

Of course, they're more excited for all the summertime fun first!

For their first week off at home, they have requested to do absolutely nothing but eat cookies, watch movies and play video games, LOL! 

Here are the cards that I created for their Teachers :) 

I used some more of the Provocraft DP and I still have a lil more than a 6x6 square left!!! LOL! 

Here's my first card using Riley and Company's "School Boy Riley"... 

For my next card, I used The Greeting Farm's "Teacher Anya"... 

... and for this one, I used MFT's a la modes "You Rule"... 

AND, I just had to use "Teacher Anya" again ;)

 Finally! I am finally able to post! WOW!

was the perfect card to help me out!!!

The DP is from Provocraft - I have had this 12x12 sheet FOREVER! 

Finally cut it down to 6x6 and used it on 4 more cards!!! and I still have scraps leftover! lol! 

So here is the first card that I created with it... 

I just haaad to use Ebony! I love her spunky style! 

and grabbed a sentiment from my Sunshine Kit, I really need to use this kit more often, 

it's so cute and perfect for summer memories!!!

A good morning Monday to you :)

Today is the start of a fabulous week! My boys are finishing up with school and we're so excited to have some free time to play and do fun stuffs right away!!! It's also my baby boy's 5th birthday on Wednesday!!! sniff! Not so baby anymore! LOL! We're super excited to get some more cake time to celebrate ;)

So since today is Monday, it means that we're in for another awesome

I am having a blogger moment!!!

Actually, I've been having this moment on and off for over 3 weeks now, grrrr!

The most problematic issue right now is commmenting!

When I try to leave a comment, it says I have to log into Google...

I log in... it says "Anonymous" and kicks me back out again to redo my login, ugh!!!

and not everyone has the option to let you leave a 'url' instead... oh well...

I haven't been able to post since my last post either... so frustrating!

and to top it off, my fave camera ever has decided to take its last pic earlier this week :(

... {insert HUGE sigh here}...

So I've decided to take the rest of the week and weekend to relax and figure out what is up with Blogger, geesh!

AND, I challenged myself to try to either not use blue, or very little of the color - I just had to prove to myself that boy stuff doesn't always have to be mainly blue!

I've noticed that if I don't create anything for a few days OR if I create TOO much (lol!) my mojo seems to go on vacay! So in order to create a happy go smoothly pace, I have gotten into the habit of creating a something or two every other day :)  and it's been working out fabulous-ly!!! I'm a happy girl :)

Kathy of Pixie Dust Studio created a new line up of monthly freebie digitals for this year, "Pals of the Month"! Last year it was all about the girls! and this year - it's all about BOYS!!! WooHoo!!!

I finally had a chance to play along with May's image, "May Pal".

I'm loving his spike-y hair, and his lil furry pal :)

I found these rockin' scraps of DP, and just pieced all together!
Simple and quick! Me likey ;)

Confessions of a Shopaholic!!!

Hellooo :)  Just a quick late night post to share :)

Yesterday, there was a bit of scrappy-happy time with some scrappy friends at my sister's apartment and I was able to play with my new Moka stamp from Taylored Expressions!

I had some fun paper-piecing her dress shirt and using my Taylored Expressions May Key Ingredient Kit too! Everything, except for the Lace and Dew Drops, came in the kit! I also got some clear dew drops to play with! I haven't tested if these will be color-able yet, but I'm looking forward to trying it out soon!

Woof II

TGIF everyone!!! and what a beautiful day it was!

Gorgeous sunny sun and gusty cool winds! We planted 8 plants today and had a yummy dinner :)

I didn't get a chance to make up a card for today's Pixie Dust Studio release yet :(

BUT, I do have my almost 5yo's pic to share! I forgot to add it to my post the other day and he was not so happy about it, lol! So I promised he could have his own post... they should probably have their own blog, OI! but who is going to maintain it??? ;) lol!

We looove Penguins!!! Especially my Nicky!!! Whenever we go out, he is always on the hunt for more books and/or stuffed toys to add to his collection :)  It's so wonderful and fun to watch his passion and excitement for them grow everyday! He was SO excited to see a penguin image... "Mom, I really really really need to do something special with him" :) It was a 'mamma-heart-melt' moment :)
