Kraft-y Creeper Sunday on a Friday :)

Good evening!!! Wow, I cannot believe that it is the last Friday of 2011!!!

I kinda took an unintended creative/blog break this week -

I really didn't expect to, lol! but between the holiday mess and my boys, I just had to take some time off from blogging and concentrate on family time and prepare for some fun DT releases for next month :)

I have also started my own book blog :) You all know how much I love to read and usually try to incorporate it into my crafty things, but it's time that I set out to do what I have been wanting to do for so long, I am so happy about it!
Here's my new blog: bumbles and fairy-tales

I hope you'll follow along with me over there too!!! xo

I am a bit late with posting a few things...

First, there is a new challenge up on the Pixie Dust Studio blog...

just add a number to your card/project!!!

Next! It's time for a new Spy Day Challenge at

The Greeting Farm!!!

This week, we are 'case-ing' Shaela's card...

I decided to stick with some red panels, a similar layout and go all boy ;)

I used Creeper Sunday and my new pad of MME Funday Kraft 6x6 pad!

Looooving me some Kraft-y fun-ness right now :)

The button is from Studio Calico (Wood Veneer)

and some twine yummness from The Twinery!!!

Just a quick and simple card - felt so good to create something again!!!

Be sure to take a peek at the DT's stuffs too!!!

For Today, I Declare: It's SATURDAY!!!

Good Day to You!!!

I refuse to let the weekend go!!!

SOOO, I am re-doing my Saturday and will not be saying the M-word at all today! Ha!!!

... and in celebration of having an extra Saturday this week, hee hee...

I decided to use my new Creeper Crew Saturday stamp from The Greeting Farm

for today's NO EMBELLISHMENT challenge!!!

YES! You read that right!

The fab Joni is challenging us to not use a single embellishment on our cards, eeek!!!

Good luck with that, lol!

{Thanks, Joni!!! XO}

Here's my card...

I thought that the busy patterned papers by My Mind's Eye would help with the non-embellish part,

also, I had to throw in some scallops and thought that this piece of cardboard would 'boy-up' the card enough to continue to get away with the scallops, lol!

Cool?!

Don't forget to sign up for

The Greeting Farm's 3rd Annual Customer Blog Hop!!!

... and now it's time to visit the rest of the DT's awesome non-embellished cards!!!

So Very MONDAY of her :)

Good Monday to YOU!!!

It is definitely a typical Monday around here!

It all started last night when I couldn't get my pic to upload anywhere, geesh!

I was up waaay tooo laaat {yawn!}

and kiddos are home sick today :( Off to the Dr's office this afternoon!

Oh, before I get on with the rest of my post ;)

I changed the settings to my blog to make everything a bit larger -

I thought that everything around here was a bit too small, but now,

I think I made it toooo BIG! LOL!

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated ;)

Now, to make my Monday brighter and better!!!

Today is Monday Fun-Day at The Greeting Farm Challenge Blog!

and for this week, Lisa has challenged us to use...

NO designer/pattern papers!!! (eek!) AND use ONE ribbon!!!

NO designer paper?!

Do you know how hard it is to accomplish that???

Especially when your die-cutting machine is broken and you cannot play with your cardstock because you cannot use your dies or embossing folders :( sigh...

I have also used the following challenges on my card:

- That's Kraft Thursday #55: Use Kraft CS

- CAS-ual Fridays Challenge#27: Over the Edge

So being that it is Monday, guess who had to come out and play???

"MONDAY"

... from the Creeper Crew!

I wish I had her Monday attitude!!!

Love her style! and added a piece of doilie to girlie her card up a bit :)
and I was lucky to find a scrap of red scallops in my pile too!
I usually don't die-cut ahead of time, I do it each time I create something, so that was a plus! The whole card pretty much revolved on that red strip, lol!

Hope you all have a better and wonderful Monday!!!

Please be sure to visit the rest of the DT for some non-DPing and ribbon inspiration!!!
