This set comes with 5 images and 3 sentiments...

Doesn't it just warm your heart :)
I used some of my fave Jillibean DP and look! I used brads too!!!

For my next card, I used one of the 'fashionable girlies' and another sweet sentiment...

Isn't she stylin'??? :)

Hello?! and So Thankful :)

Hello everyone :)
Is it really Monday already?!?! Eeek!!! I am a tad bit behind on so many things - in order for me to catch up, I need to prioritize my to-do list and then go backwards with it! LOL! Does that make sense ;)
Definitely sounds like fun, right!? hee, hee!!!

So today I am starting with my first 2 cards for
Riley is getting ready to introduce a new friend on the Company :)
There will be 17 NEW Holiday stamps and 2 sentiment stamp sets to match!!!

For my first card, I would like to introduce you to Riley's new friend...
Percy the Penguin!!!

My mojo seems to be playing peek-a-boo with me lately :(
So I went on the hunt for some new challenges to play with and here's what I used to help me create Percy's card...

- Card Patterns Sketch #142

Now, if you know my Nicky - he looooves PENGUINS!!!
and isn't Percy the cutest penguin-angel :)
SO happy that we now have a Penguin to join The Moose family ;)

For my second card, I used Pilgrim Riley and Sophie...
I also used these challenges for my card too:
- The Pink Elephant Challenge #126: Giving Thanks
- Card Makin Mamas Challenge #33: Thanks
- Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #137

Aren't they the sweetest pair?!

Thanksgiving is this week (for those of us in the U.S.),
and I have not prepared nor decorated yet, oops!
Must get my cleaning done asap!!!
I know that it's not important as to whether or not my home is clean, organized, decorated, etc. but I am SO very grateful for my family and feel that they deserve something nice to enjoy our Holiday this year :)
AND there better be some balloons flying about Macy's parade this year!!! Rumor has it that it may be too windy out there and there has been too many mishaps in the last few years!!! I'm sorry, but you may as well just cancel the whole parade if there aren't going to be any balloons! Just sayin'!!! hee, hee!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!
More Riley and Company sneak peeks are going on throughout the week!
Be sure to visit the rest of the Moosemates to see what other holiday stamps and sentiments are being released on Thursday, November 24th 10pm EST!!!

Side-Stepping in Matilda's Garden

Good morning :)
WoW! I cannot believe that I managed to stay off my blog almost the entire week!
I have discovered that sometimes I need to take an unplanned mini-break from here to get the mojo flowing again! It always feels so good to come back to it and get into the swing again :)

It's another "Spy Day" at The Greeting Farm Challenge Blog today!!!
and this time, Sharette spied Danni's Card on SCS!!!
Danni created a beautiful stair-step card using a orange/green color scheme...

I have to admit, I just could NOT get a stair-step card put together for this challenge, oi! LOL!
I tried using the SCS step-by-step directions and video! Which are by far, excellent resources and very clear - but I just could not grasp the exact cutting measuremenst! eek!
So I decided to be inspired by the color scheme, layout and butterflies that Danni used :)

AND!
I also used the following challenges for my card too!!!
- Touch Twin Marker Color Challenge:
Melon Yellow, Olive Green, Brick Brown, Rose Red
- Ribbon Carousel Challenge #27:
Anything goes! (must have ribbon, twine, etc.)
- Flutter By Wednesday Challenge #178:
Thank You (much have a buttefly, fairy, angel)
- Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #134

I also used one of the latest released stamps by The Greeting Farm,

You cannot see it in my picture, but the sides are 2 separate panels!
I tried to recreate the stair step look by using what Danni did as a layout/sketch :)
and I was so lucky to have just enough of these scraps for it too!
Oh, and when I first colored Matilda, I thought her clothes were a bit too mis-matchy, lol!
but with the papers surrounding her, she matches and blends pretty good, right? :)

Please be sure to visit the rest of the DT and see their gorgeous stair-step cards!!!

Thanks for stopping by today!!! Happy TGIF!!!
I will be packing up a few things for a scrappy night with the girls :)
Yippeee!!!

of "You are So Sweet", thank you :)

Hello again, and Happy Happy Happy TGIF!!!
Today, The Greeting Farm - Farm Fresh Challenge Blog
is having its first Friday Spy Day!!!

Friday Spy Day willl run VERY similarly to the former "Mystery Monday" challenges, meaning we will still "spy" a card from the TGF Gallery and then you will be able to pick an element/sketch based on the card to CASE.
Today's 'spied' card can be found HERE, created by the very talented Dictionary!

For my card, I decided to use one of the latest clear stamp sets to be released...
"Furever"

Again, I used MORE scraps!!! Yaaay!!!
These are all by Jillibean Soup, a definite must have pad!
and mooore baker's twine! This strand is from The Twinery, love their colors!

I have to say that these new TGF clear stamps are made from the most high-end quality that you can ever imagine! Seriously! If you know me, I'm mostly a digi and rubber stamp girl, lol! But these clear sets have totally turned me around!!! With every stamp that I have used from my sets - I just attach it to my acrylic block, rub-tap-tap on my Memento ink pad and stamp!!! Instant bold and clean lines!!! I am looooving it :) These will definitely feeeed my paper piecing needs ;)

A Cake! TWO Sweeties! and a Tag :)

It's TGIF!!! and it's a stunning day too!
Just a quickie post to share some Greeting Farm cards I created this week :)
and then we're off to have some summertime fun!!!

I created this first card for their latest Mystery Monday Challenge!
I was inspired by the colors and layout that Krista used on her card.
I used "Cupcake Anya" and here is what I put together...

Happy Birthday to TGF!!! They turned 3 earlier this week :)
It's been awesome watching this sweet stamp company grow and grow!

Had a bit more fun creating this next card for a super sweet lil girl :)
Thanks to her Mommy, Julie,
I got to see how much she loved it on her blog AND facebook!
Don't ya just love technology ;) Thanks, Julie!!!

I also sent her some of my Jillibean Soup scraps and stuff with an Amelia for her to create her own card with! and this is the uber-FABULOUS card she made...

Watch out peeps!
We got another awesome cardmaker and color-er in the making
and she is sure to give us all some major competition soon!!!

... and lastly, I decided to have another go with a tag, lol!
I have no probs creating on small cards, but once you changed the word to 'tag' I am at a complete loss! What to do, what to do! I decided to try out their Sepia/Brown Color Challenge, in my book, you can never go wrong with Kraft CS, right?!

My "Fly Away" set and scraps of stuff were sitting on my desk and this is what happened... the more I look at it, the more it grows on me! Practice, practice... or maybe just staring at it, will make it look better, hee hee!!!

Hmmm, seems like this wasn't a quickie post after all! Sorry!
I'll be back tomorrow morning with my heArt Journal entry for last week too!
Have a wonderful Friday peeps!!!

Soooo cute! I had to have these two (for now! hee, hee!!!)...
so I treated myself... yes, again! ha!!! :)

She's such a sweetie!
I am having some fun with my Blossom Soup pad and decided to go with a mono-green theme... I also had to try a new layout, when I'm not using someone else's sketch, I always tend to create with the same boring thing, lol! It was time to switch things around ;)

Play Ball!!!

Wow, I cannot believe it's Friday already!
I'm not complaining, but the week really just flew on by!

I'm a wee bit late for Riley's latest challenge...
actually, a whole lotta late, oops!
but here he is :)
Riley and Company's Challenge is to use Dies and Punches...

I'm also entering my card into the
Flashback Friday Challenge #13: Non-traditional Shaped Card, too!!!
(Thanks, Julie!!!)

I decided that I just had to ink up Baseball Riley!!!
and this is my FIRST time ever trying to create a ROUND-ish card!
You all must know by now that I am not a huge fan of circles; yes, I have been using a lot of circle and scallop nesties lately, but they're nesties! Easy to use! Not so easy trying to do a whole card out of them! and even harder to take a picture of! I'm SO serious when I tell you that this silly little card kept rolling away from me! ha! It really didn't want to be photographed!!! LOL!

I love my first round card! I hope you likey too :)

A Girly Thank You Card...

Just another quick girly thank you card :)
For my card, I used The Greeting Farm's Wild Sprout "Annika" Stamp - She and I share a huuuge love of books and reading :) And I also used new Jillibean Soup "Blossom Soup" Pad!
Yes, I'm working on using up my scrap-stash! but every now and then you've got to satisfy the paper craving and buy yourself a lil 6x6 pad to keep you going ;) Right??? LOL!
The crochet flower is from Recollections, the rest of what I used was from leftover scraps that was sitting on my desk :) I just love how quick and easy some cards come together!!!

I was inspired by TGF's Mystery Monday Challenge, Krista's card!
The girliness! The PINK!!! and flowers!!!

I neeeeed to find some lace! I hardly ever go to JoAnn's, which is the only local place to find lace, and they usually only have no more than 4 or 5 options (which aren't really pretty)... it just occurred to me to check Etsy, lol! Anyone have a fave place to find some lace or lace-y ribbons??? I don't do really girly cards often, but when I do, I would love to go all out! A lil piece of lace reminds me of those ankle socks I used to wear when I was a wee toddler, they made me feel so pretty when I wore them with my mary janes :)

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!!!
xoxo

Let's Cool Down!

In most places around the U.S. we are looking for ways to cool off!!!
So let's think of Winter, Snow and Christmas ;)

This week, Pixie Dust Studio's challenge them is
"Let's Cool Down"
Create a card/project with a Winter/Christmas theme!

For my Christmas card, I decided to use "Happy Birthday Jesus" digital image...
I also used the following challenges to help me out :)

Another card using up some more of my scraps! Loooove it ;)
A card that is perfect for either boy or girl!
and yes, it's turned into a bad habit!!!
I always have to tweak or move something around on a sketch, sigh...

I have another card to share!!!

For this card, I wanted to use a new image, "Muddy Buddy"...
I also used the following challenges for this card:
- Cupcake Craft Challenge #145: Things with Tails

Okay, I know, lol! It's not exactly a Christmas Card..
but I did use Christmas DP!!! Ha!!!
It's Fancy Pants Happy Holidays!
I just thought that the distressed look would look good with the piggy image ;)
What do you think???
and I looove this layout! I know that it's a square card and that I used the circles on the in the wrong spot, but hey, the inspiration is all there ;)
and it's definitely a sketch that I will use for inspiratino again!

Thanks so much for stopping by, peeking and leaving a comment!!!

{not so} Vintage Pixie Card

"Back in Time"
Create a Vintage-style card!!!

I really had a hard time coming up with something...
but here is my card :)

I used "Sabrina with Scrappy" and some yummy Jillibean Soup DP!
I couldn't find any lace, so I tried to add the flower/button embellie...
I'm thinking I should've gone with softer colors and maybe some distressing... hmmm...

Next!!! I have another Sneak Peek for tomorrow's release!!!

Meet... "Goin' Bananas"!!!
This lil guy is a fave in my house ;)
SO much fun going to the Pixie Circus!!!
