See Ya Later, TGF :)

TGIF to a bittersweet day...
The day has finally come to see 'see you later' to The Greeting Farm :(
Not a good-bye, because I plan on visiting a lot and seeing all of my girls often enough!
But it is my last day as Team Captain, sniff!...
And of course, I kept putting off my post for today - denial? procrastination?
All of the above ;)

SO, as I started out this post this morning, thinking that we were suppose to post our favorite TGF cards, lol, these lovely ladies surprised me with their beautiful cards and I am so deeply touched -
You must visit their blogs and leave them some love today :)

A big thank you to Jessica for EVERYTHING! ... to Marie too :)
And a special thank you to April, Joni, Lisa and Sharette
Such sweet girlies, had a great time working with all of you!!!

Here are some of my all time favorites from this awesome team :)

Jessica

Tea-rrific!

Good morning friends :)
Did this week feel like the longest one ever to exist? lol, it really did to me!
I am so happy to be able to post something today!!!
Real life has been keep me so very busy, doesn't it understand that this girl need's to get her bumble-y going on as much as possible! lol!

has another Spy Day to play along with today!

It's all about 'case-ing' Lori Craig's beautiful Kraft-y card!
I just had to use the same stamp set that she used, Tea-rrific!
I also tried to stay true to the layout and elements she used too;
krafty cardstock, scalloped circle, button/twine :)
All good happy stuff to play with!!!

Please be sure to check out what the rest of my teammates came up with too!

Have a fab TGIF!!!

He's Just Not That Into You...

I'm a sucker for sappy girlie movies!
I fall for most chic flicks!
I just love a swoon-ie kind of story :)

{I'll give you a few seconds...
...
...
...
okay, you can stop laughing now, hee hee!}

The concept of this movie was taken from a (sort of) self-help book called:

When I received my new TGF Flutter Heart Clear Stamp Set,
and saw this little guy/girl image, this movie popped into my head, lol!

The 'love banner' is also from this set...

Here's the movie trailer in case you need a refresher ;)

Enjoy!!!

Anything is Possible...

Good morning!!!
and how was everyone's weekend???
I still have a bit of a cold, achoo-ing and stuffs :p
but I'm getting by ;)

I've been overwhelmed with holiday cards and projects for the last 2 weeks, so much so, that I haven't had the time to share a 1/4 of what I've been up to here or on facebook, lol!... and was it was such a relief to sit back this weekend and create a new bookmark for my very very very soon-to-be 8yo :)
... and it fit perfectly with this week's Monday Fun-Day Challenge at The Greeting Farm!!!
For this challenge, you are to create a BOY themed card/project!!!
I think I can do that ;)

My big boy, who keeps reminding everyone that he will be EIGHT on Wednesday :)
requested that I HAD to use this Ian for his new bookmark :)
It's more of a tag size, but it seems to be a better size for little hands and big books!!!

Space Ian is going to be doing a whole lot of traveling now!!!

Just recently, Nicky and I had a conversation about "Anything is Possible"...
lately, I have noticed that he's been saying "I can't", "no way", "can't be done"...  we talked and in the end he realized, "Anything IS Possible" as long as you put your mind to it! and after watching The Polar Express, we've learned that "believing is seeing" :)

All you need is a little bit of determination and a dream, and then "Anything IS Possible"...
a man did walk on the moon once or twice ;)

Oh, sorry to say, Space Ian is a TGF retired stamp :(  but let me tell ya, there are plenty of other cute Ian's to get!!! hee hee!!! and all papers are from October Afternoon's Campfire and I used MFT's Star Trio and Notebook Edge Border Die-namics... ooo, and did you see??? I used a star BRAD!!! lol! I really had to dig to find it, lol!!!

Hope you all will play along with us this week!
Please be sure to visit the rest of the awesome DT today too!!!
Jessica Diedrich

Thanks for looking today!!!
AND don't forget to enter my Birthday Blog Candy!!!

So Very MONDAY of her :)

Good Monday to YOU!!!
It is definitely a typical Monday around here!
It all started last night when I couldn't get my pic to upload anywhere, geesh!
I was up waaay tooo laaat {yawn!}
and kiddos are home sick today :( Off to the Dr's office this afternoon!

Oh, before I get on with the rest of my post ;)
I changed the settings to my blog to make everything a bit larger -
I thought that everything around here was a bit too small, but now,
I think I made it toooo BIG! LOL!
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated ;)

Now, to make my Monday brighter and better!!!
and for this week, Lisa has challenged us to use...
NO designer/pattern papers!!! (eek!) AND use ONE ribbon!!!

NO designer paper?!
Do you know how hard it is to accomplish that???
Especially when your die-cutting machine is broken and you cannot play with your cardstock because you cannot use your dies or embossing folders :( sigh...

I have also used the following challenges on my card:
- That's Kraft Thursday #55: Use Kraft CS

So being that it is Monday, guess who had to come out and play???

... from the Creeper Crew!
I wish I had her Monday attitude!!!
Love her style! and added a piece of doilie to girlie her card up a bit :)
and I was lucky to find a scrap of red scallops in my pile too!
I usually don't die-cut ahead of time, I do it each time I create something, so that was a plus! The whole card pretty much revolved on that red strip, lol!

Hope you all have a better and wonderful Monday!!!

Please be sure to visit the rest of the DT for some non-DPing and ribbon inspiration!!!
AND stop on by our TGF SCS Challenge forum too!!!
Thanks for stopping by :)

Side-Stepping in Matilda's Garden

Good morning :)
WoW! I cannot believe that I managed to stay off my blog almost the entire week!
I have discovered that sometimes I need to take an unplanned mini-break from here to get the mojo flowing again! It always feels so good to come back to it and get into the swing again :)

It's another "Spy Day" at The Greeting Farm Challenge Blog today!!!
and this time, Sharette spied Danni's Card on SCS!!!
Danni created a beautiful stair-step card using a orange/green color scheme...

I have to admit, I just could NOT get a stair-step card put together for this challenge, oi! LOL!
I tried using the SCS step-by-step directions and video! Which are by far, excellent resources and very clear - but I just could not grasp the exact cutting measuremenst! eek!
So I decided to be inspired by the color scheme, layout and butterflies that Danni used :)

AND!
I also used the following challenges for my card too!!!
- Touch Twin Marker Color Challenge:
Melon Yellow, Olive Green, Brick Brown, Rose Red
- Ribbon Carousel Challenge #27:
Anything goes! (must have ribbon, twine, etc.)
- Flutter By Wednesday Challenge #178:
Thank You (much have a buttefly, fairy, angel)
Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #134

I also used one of the latest released stamps by The Greeting Farm,

You cannot see it in my picture, but the sides are 2 separate panels!
I tried to recreate the stair step look by using what Danni did as a layout/sketch :)
and I was so lucky to have just enough of these scraps for it too!
Oh, and when I first colored Matilda, I thought her clothes were a bit too mis-matchy, lol!
but with the papers surrounding her, she matches and blends pretty good, right? :)

Please be sure to visit the rest of the DT and see their gorgeous stair-step cards!!!

Thanks for stopping by today!!! Happy TGIF!!!
I will be packing up a few things for a scrappy night with the girls :)
Yippeee!!!

my Princess :)

GOOD Morning peeps!!!
I have been feeling a bit under the weather for the last few days,
a small cold and no energy at all :p
My mojo is still playing games with me and has been very temperamental, lol!
We're going to have to have a talk soon,
these late night craft times are definitely not helping me get rid of this lingering cold! ha!

It's FRIDAY!!! Yay!!! What are you up to today???
First things first! For me, it's all about The Greeting Farm's
And this time, we "spied"... Sheri Gilson's card over HERE!!!
Ian is SO handsome with his cap and gown surrounded by green!
Very inspiring layout too!

I thought that "Babette" from TGF's Blush Society Collection
would be fun to color up! I just looove all that hair!!!
and used a senti from the new "Build a Onsie - Girl" clear stamp set...

Except for the card's base and the twine, I used all scraps again!!!
I will be posting pics soon of my new scrappy area and how I keep track of all my scraps;
My crafty area is small and I don't have a lot of room,
nor do I have a lot of product! and since I'm right in the living room, I have to be sure not to leave much of a mess and that it all can fit nicely in my one spot :)
My happy place ;) hee, hee

Ohhhh!!!... and for some extra fun!!!
Since last week, the TGFC DT got to play along with the Bugaboo-ers,
THIS WEEK Bugaboo Stamps gets to play along with us!!! Woo hoo!!!
Waving HI!!!

So please be sure to stop by both TGFFFC's Blog and Bugaboo's Blog
for all the wonderful inspiration this week :) :) :)

Have an awesome TGIF everyone!!!
{hugs!!!}

My December 25th... with a Sketch!!!

Good morning Monday!!! and to all you lovely peeps :)
I had a bit of candy corn earlier and I am still feeling the sugar-y stuff now, lol!
We had a wonderful fun-filled weekend and I am hoping to start the week off with the same fun-filled good times vibe too!!!

and guess what?!?!
I made a sketch!!! To which Marie was so sweet to digital-ize for me!
Thank you, Marie :) and a thank you to Jess, for all her help too!

I hope you all decide to play along with it!
Just remember, you must use a TGF stamp/image and we must be able to recognize the sketch on your card - you can flip or rotate it, add some extra embellies too ;)

Here's my card, and of course, I couldn't even follow my own sketch to the exact look, LOL!
but you can still see it ;)
I used one of the latest clear stamp sets, "Clear Christmas"...

Had a bit of fun with the gems on this one!
Isn't that the sweetest little Christmas tree you've ever seen!
I love all of the stars as ornaments! Makes me want to decorate my house with stars rather than the snowman theme we have every year! but don't let me snowmen hear about this, okay!? LOL!
I love this set, so versatile!
I can't wait to use the sleigh and other embellie-type of stamps in the set soon too:)

Please be sure to visit the DT too today :)
(Sorry, blogger is not letting me add any other links to the post at the moment, ugh! Be sure to visit my sidebar, please!)

Have a wonderful Monday!!! xoxo

Smiley :)

Wooo hooo!!! It's finally TGIF!!!
What should have been a short week for us, because we had Monday off from school, turned out to be the most dragged out, longest week ever in existence, lol! We are all super tired and cranky and in much need to some weekend fun! Unfortunately, kiddos have to start their weekend tomorrow to a check up at the dentist first, lol! Then we're off for a Fall Festival at school and other fun stuff :)  Can't wait!

There is another Farm Fresh Friday - Spy Day Challenge
And for this week, we are casing Rachel's card that you can see HERE!

I decided that I really neeeded to use myyy "Edward" stamp!!!
Yes, MYYY Edward ;) hee hee!!!

I lightly colored Edward with my Copic markers and used my Colorless Blender to lighten and blend my coloring to give him a 'washed-out' kind of look... I used scraps of Crate Paper and some Washi tape that I purchased (and have been hoarding) from TGF Store a looong while ago :)

Please be sure to visit the amazing DT today too!
(Links are all in my sidebar, thanks!)

Sorry to type and run, but I really need to catch up on some sleep, my neglected chores and get some much needed crafty time in between ;)
Have a wonderful TGIF!!!
See you back here in a little while ;) xo

Friday Spy Day with Sassy Friends! and FREE TGF SHIPPING!!!

*Please scroll down for my Sparkle Creations/Karber Preview
of "You are So Sweet", thank you :)

Hello again, and Happy Happy Happy TGIF!!!
Today, The Greeting Farm - Farm Fresh Challenge Blog
is having its first Friday Spy Day!!!

Friday Spy Day willl run VERY similarly to the former "Mystery Monday" challenges, meaning we will still "spy" a card from the TGF Gallery and then you will be able to pick an element/sketch based on the card to CASE.
Today's 'spied' card can be found HERE, created by the very talented Dictionary!

For my card, I decided to use one of the latest clear stamp sets to be released...
"Furever"

Again, I used MORE scraps!!! Yaaay!!!
These are all by Jillibean Soup, a definite must have pad!
and mooore baker's twine! This strand is from The Twinery, love their colors!

I have to say that these new TGF clear stamps are made from the most high-end quality that you can ever imagine! Seriously! If you know me, I'm mostly a digi and rubber stamp girl, lol! But these clear sets have totally turned me around!!! With every stamp that I have used from my sets - I just attach it to my acrylic block, rub-tap-tap on my Memento ink pad and stamp!!! Instant bold and clean lines!!! I am looooving it :) These will definitely feeeed my paper piecing needs ;)
