Easter Bunny Ruby

It's SATURDAY!!!
What are you doing this weekend???
We're expecting some snow today and I'm wondering if I'm going to be able to keep my scrappy plans or if I will be spending the weekend locked up with my boys, snug on the couch with our favorite movies... either way, they're both my favorite things to do, so it will be a win/win situation ;) hee hee!!!

Also, to start the weekend right - today is release day at

My Sweet Angel Card...

Good Friday everyone!!!
Wow, another week just blew away and it's February!!!
I have to be honest, I was actually a bit afraid to post for today, lol!
It's been so long since I've posted anything here, I'm thinking that people have either forgotten about me or are mad or both! ha! Sorry!
I had to step back for a bit and figure out why my mojo has been lacking so much lately. It's never been this bad before and I have felt so overwhelmed and sad by it. I've been blogging and doing my thing here for 3 1/2 years now, and I have never stayed away for more than 3 days at a time.
It's time to make some changes! and have some fun!

So for now, I want to share with you the card I made for today's

This week, we are 'case-ing' Jas' card!!!
and this is what I came up with:

This is my first time using my sweet Angel Anya rubber stamp!!!
Isn't she gorgeous!?

I used a scrap of Echo Park DP, found a paper silver doily and colored her up with my Copics... even did a bit of distressing there, lol! Quick simple card... wondering what occasion I could use this one for...???

Here's a close up at her sparkly halo and wings :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I truly do love my visitors and comment-ers :)

Please be sure to check out the rest of the DT and see what they've been up to!!!

Don't forget that tomorrow TGF will have another
sketch challenge posted on their SCS forum!!!

Happy weekend!!!

JOY!!! A NEW Saturday Sketch Challenge at TGF!!!

Good Saturday afternoon :)
Let's start the weekend off with a fun NEW sketch challenge!!!

The Greeting Farm is now hosting a NEW sketch challenge exclusively on their SCS Forum!
Very cool :) hee hee!

For the first sketch, I decided to finally ink up my new

All 3 Miss Anya's in the set are so pretty! I couldn't decide who to color up first, and then finally decided to use this one since I love daisies and those braids in her hair! She's so pretty :)
I also used my Flutter Heart Clear Stamp Set for the sentiment! There are SO many possibilites with this set, one of my faves! With all those pendant stamps, eeek! So much fun :)

Here's a peek at the sketch for this week:

Hee hee! Yes, I created the sketch! With Jessica and Marie's help :)
I am so happy to have this opportunity to expand my creativity with TGF!!!

I hope you all will play along with us!!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Love!

Good Tuesday Morning to you!!!

SO, it seems that I am a huge fan of creating Valentine's Day Cards :)
After all these years, I finally found my favorite time of year to create cards, lol!
There is just something about pink hearts, doilies, flowers and lacy things that really just calls to me - makes me happy!!! Which means, I have a ton of Valentine's Day cards, lol, which also means, that I should get thee to thy post office soon ;) hee hee!

You have until this Sunday, January 29th 9pm PST to play along!! !

I decided to use the latest released Karber Clear Stamp Set, Fashion...

Here is the other fashionista that comes in this stamp set!
I decided to do some fun paper-piecing and Copic coloring...
The sentiment is actually a part of a stamp that says:
Love! Smile! Enjoy!

SCRS Challenges are open to everyone,
BUT, in order to win the prize, you must use a stamp from the

...and here is what is up for grabs this week:

Yes, You Are Beautiful :)

Happy New Year my dear friends!!!
I hope that the holiday weekend was a memorable and beautiful one :)
We kept things very low key, stayed home and watch the New Year ball drop in Times Square from our TV, hee hee! Both our boys stayed up this year, a first! And we were just sooo very happy and felt so blessed to be together snuggled up on the couch with our bellies full of warm chocolate chip cookies and milk :)

I'm so excited to start this year!
So many fun things are happening all over the place ;)

I'm starting it off with the first Monday Fun Day Challenge
from The Greeting Farm today :)
This week's challenge you are to use the color combo of...
Blue, White and One Other Color of your choice!

I used the following challenges on my card too:
- Really Reasonable Ribbons Challenge #39: Ribbon and Sparkle
- Wee Memories Challenge #82: Something New (Stamps and Ribbon)

I don't know what I was thinking - I was stressing out as to what my 3rd color should be and finally decided how nice red would look... then while I was taking my pics - I noticed that my 'other color' should have been the kraft that I had already used on my card! Duuuhhhhh, lol! Ooops...

I used two new TGF Clear Stamp Sets on my card :)
The first is called "Lucky Bunnies"
Isn't he the cutest and most snuggle-y-est bunny you have ever seen?!?!
I was SOOO thrilled to see this cute little critter during this release :)
The beautiful sentiment is also from this stamp set!

The second stamp set that I used, and will be using ALL THE TIME,
is the new "Made By" Clear Stamp Set...

Oh. My. Goodness!
This stamp set is ah-maaazing!
There is absolutely no excuse for me not to add my chicken scratch to any of my projects anymore, hee hee ;)

I hope you'll play along with us!
Please be sure to visit the rest of the DT too!!!

Happy M-day ;)

PS - did you see my new book blog yet??? ;)

"A Stitch In Time" {TPE112}

Good morning!!!
I hope we're all off to a good start this week :)
This week's The Pink Elephant Challenge is being sponsored by
Christy Croll of Tiddly Inks!!!
One lucky random winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to the Tiddly Inks Store!!!
and the challenge is to use some sort of STITCHING, real or faux, on your card/project...

"You and Me"
I just fell in love with this couple!
Of course they reminded me of Edward and Bella :)
But their is just something about this image that just says, love...
I used embroidery floss to create my stitches! The thread is really thick, I recommend using only half the strands instead of all 6, like me, lol! Iit was hard to get through the thick cardstock, and made some large ugly holes that you can kinda see, sigh... live and learn ;)
Hope you likey!!!

The Pink Elephant Challenge #112, will close on Sunday at midnight EST.
If you upload your card to SCS or any other gallery,
please use keyword TPE,
but also add your direct link to the blog post too :)
