Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge#35

Good Tuesday Morning :)
** Warning - Spoiler Alert!!!
If you have not read Breaking Dawn do not go any further ;)

This week's challenge was chosen by one of Twilight Tuesday's Guest Designers...
Renesmee
"Today’s challenge is taken from Breaking Dawn, we learn that Bella is pregnant and through all circumstances her and Edward’s baby, Renesmee.
She is amazingly talented, gorgeous and immediately becomes the focus of ALL the main characters in an individual way.
Renesmee is half vampire/half human, she has the gift of being able to transmit her thoughts through her touch. She grows fast and as we find out later in the book she will stop growing at 15 and is immortal. She shimmers in the sun, has her mother’s brown eyes, Charlie’s curly hair, likes blood over food, learns at an amazingly fast pace and easily wins over anyone that comes near her."
“The stranger-child in Rosalie’s arms had to be weeks, if not months, old…
Her shiny bronze-colored hair fell in ringlets past her shoulders.
Her chocolate brown eyes examined me with an interest that was not at all childlike:
it was adult, aware and intelligent”
~ Bella Swan, Breaking Dawn, pg 438

Creative Portion:
There are so many options for this challenge, you can focus on the relationship between Renesmee and Bella, Edward, Jacob, Charlie, Rosalie, Aro. You can think of her powers, or just her looks. Anything goes!!

Comment Portion: Renesnee has so much power over everyone right away, is there anything or anyone that has pulled you in so swiftly, a friend, a spouse? Do you know a sweet little girl like Nessie without the being half vampire of course . Tell us a little about it!
I have to admit, I was excited when Bella found out she was having Edward's baby... but then it got really freaky... and even more once Renesmee was born...
Renesmee frightens me, lol! She does - the quote that Jacquie chose says it all... "... her chocolate eyes examined me with an interest that was not at all childlike: it was adult, aware and intelligent."
Can you imagine waking up, expecting to see a baby and you find a 6 to 12 month old already knowing more about what has happened in the last 48 hours than yourself - by telling you? Creepy! Creepiness aside, lol! Renesmee is gorgeous! Irresistible! and I'll admit, I don't think that I would be able to deter away from her charm either!
The minute I saw the Miss Anya stamp, I thought of Renesmee - on a shopping spree with Aunty Alice!
Shopping Card Details:
Paper(s): Stampin Up Bella Rose DP; American Crafts White CS.
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm's Miss Anya Collection Stamp Set.
Ink(s): Stampin Up Chocolate Chip Ink; Copics; Atyou Spica Glitter Markers.
Accessories: Stampin Up Ribbon; Prima Flowers; The Robin's Nest Dew Drops; Fiskars Lace Corner Punch.
Here's Miss Renesmee reading Grandpa Carlisle's books! I'm sure that as much as she loves shopping with her Aunts, she also loves Grandpa's study - all those books and history though out the years... I could live there for awhile too ;)
Book Card Details:
Paper(s): Bazzill Black; American Crafts Red and White CS.
Stamp(s): The Little Paper Shop "Jena Book" Digi Stamp.
Ink(s): Copics; Atyou Spica Glitter Markers.
Accessories: Prima Flowers; The Robin's Nest Dew Drops; Fiskar Lace Corner Punch; EK Success Valentine Fibers.

Twilight Tuesday Sookie Vampire Challenge#3 - Sookie Stackhouse

It's the 15th of the month!!! You know what that means...???

It's Sookie time!!!

For this month's Sookie Vampire Challenge, we are drawing our inspiration from our favorite mind-reading cocktail waitress, Merlotte’s own Sookie Stackhouse!!! Craft Portion: Create a project that embodies the uniqueness that is Sookie. Embrace her character, and show some Sookie-love!

Comment Portion: What is it about Sookie that is so captivating? Why do you suppose she was so anxious to meet a vampire? Or, how do you think her life would differ if she never met Bill that night, or if she had not saved him from the Rattrays?

Choose a question or answer them all - It's going to be a FUN challenge!

Sorry! I know y'all are probably getting tired of seeing my Anya's and Ian's, but I've been addicted! They're just too darn cute!!! I really thought that I wouldn't be using them for awhile...
Plus + this was a bit hard for me - I let someone borrow my books and I had a bit of hard time trying to remember a few details...Here's Sookie! Miss Stackhouse!

I like that she's such a girly-girl!

She does her best to mind her manners and to always look her best,

just like her Grandma taught her ;)

Best of all - is Sookie's attitude to always look for the best in every situation!

Always trying to put a smile on no matter what! Isn't she adorable!?

Trying to tend to her Grandma's flowers and garden :) Sookie 'Happy' Card Details: Paper(s): Stampin Up White Confetti CS; Making Memories "English Garden" DP. Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm's Miss Anya Stamp Collection; Unity's February KOTM "endings & beginings" Sentiment. Ink(s): Stampin Up Chocolate Chip Ink; Copics; Stampin Up Markers. Accessories: Making Memories Striped Ribbon; Prima Flowers; Fiskar Lace Corner Punch. Isn't 'First Love' the best?!?! Here's a snapshot of Sookie and Bill!

Awww... they do make a very adorable couple! Couple Card Details: Paper(s): Stampin Up Kraft CS; Making Memories "English Garden" DP; American Crafts White CS. Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm's "50's Sweethearts" Digi Stamp; Unity's KOTM January "love, ETC." sentiments. Ink(s): Stampin Up Chocolate Chip Ink; Copics; atyou Spica Glitter markers. Accessories: The Robin's Nest Dew Drops; Fiskar Lace Corner Punch. I love Sookie's ability to look beyond and love with all her heart... Isn't Bill cute? lol!

I tried to make him look as pale and vampire-y as possible! ;)

Here's another snapshot of Sookie with her best friend Sam :)

Sam can transform into any animal - but he prefer to change into a dog ;)
Sookie & Sam Card Details: Paper(s): Stampin Up Kraft and White Confetti CS; Making Memories "English Garden" DP. Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm's Dorothy Digi Stamp. Ink(s): Copics. Accessories: Making Memories Vintage Findings Trim; K&Company Pearls.

Now it's time to check out what Beth and Jacquie created :)

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #34

I know what y'all are thinking! It's Tuesday, sooo where's the Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge!?!?
Well, it's right here sillies! I went completely out of my Twilight-element with this one!
LOL!
No Red, no black, only a bit of sparkle... :)
We have a summer theme challenge this week created by the lovely Jen of Deconstructing Jen...
"One of the enigmatic things about Twilight is that every book aside from Breaking Dawn revolves around the school year. Twilight ends with Prom and New Moon picks back up as school starts again, likewise with Eclipse. I always wonder what Edward and Bella did with their summer vacations, especially that summer between Twilight and New Moon and as summer is creeping upon us rather rapidly with the summer solstice is just under two weeks away on June 21st I thought it would be fun to celebrate summer this week!"

Creative Challenge:
Your creative challenge this week is to go all out and celebrate summer! You can create a Twilight themed summer piece focusing on Bella and Edward's summer adventures or you can celebrate your own summer plans or a fantastic summer that has passed.

Comment Challenge:
Do you have a favorite summer adventure of your own? It could be from your childhood or currently. Do you have any exciting things planned for THIS summer? Share with us!!!

Remember: Each comment you leave on a Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge this month, you will be entered into this month’s Blog Candy Give Away!!!
My comment... every year, while anxiously awaiting the true summer weather to begin... the boys and I start singing DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince song...
"Summer, Summer, Summer Time...
Time to sit back and unwind!!!"
It has become a new tradition! LOL! Now that the boys are a bit older, it's going to be so much more fun to do a bunch of summer activities! No vacays planned, but we'll be busy!
I decided to alter my last $1 journal from Michael's!
A journal for Bella and Edward to share and write down all their summer memories ;)
Journal Details:
Paper(s): BasicGrey's Wisteria DP
Stamp(s): Unity's February KOTM "endings & beginnings" sentiment.
Ink(s): Spica Black Glitter Marker
Accessories: BasicGrey Fibers; K&Company Wild Raspberry Glitter Layered Floral Accents and K&Company Cut N' Paste Baubles from Memory Works April Express Kit; Stampin Up Tag Punch; $1 Journal from Michael's.
I also made a frame preserving some beautiful flowers that Edward picked for Bella from their Meadow :)
Frame Details:
Paper(s): BasicGrey Wisteria DP; Bazzill; Stampin Up Confetti White CS.
Ink(s): Stampin Up flowers colored with Copic V15 and Stampin Up Markers: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum and Always Artichoke.
Accessories: Stampin Up Pretties Kit; Fiskar Lace Corner Punch.

Okay! Time to see what the rest of the team came up with ;)
