The Greeting Farm's Blog for all the details :)
Especially to find out how you can win one of THREE grand prizes!!!

So for today's hop, I created (hopefully) my last Holiday card for this year!
Here is Holiday Anya...

This is the perfect paper to paper-piece her dress!
She looks so fun and festive :)

My next card is definitely my last holiday card of 2011, hee hee!!!
This card is for this week's TGF Monday Fun-Day Recipe Challenge
you are to use Kraft Cardstock, Twine and a Button(s) on your card/project!!!
My three favorite go-to things to create a card!!!

I decided to use my "Keep Cozy" stamp set again
and came up with this easel card :)

This just happens to be the card that I taught to my Scrappy friends last Friday night :)
They loved the easel card concept!!! It was so much fun!!!

Happy Birthday and True Love for A Thousand Years...

Happy Thursday!!! Woo hoo!!!
I'm a happy girl :) :) :)
Today I'm sharing my card from Pixie Dust Studio!!!

This week, Pixie Dust Studio's challenge is to create a
Birthday themed card/project!!!

I have to admit, I was stumped as to what to do for this challenge, lol!
It's a birthday theme, it's suppose to be simple, right?!
Well, when you have your mojo playing peek-a-boo lately, you'd be stumped too ;)

I decided that I needed to use this lil half of the "Mun-kins" digital image from
the latest Pixie of Oz Collection :)

I used up the rest of my red with white polka-dots Jillibean Soup DP scraps!
and just went on picking out other scraps to go along with it!
Everything was a piece of scrap that was sitting in my bin - even the Kraft ;)
Don't ya just looove when a card finally comes together all on its own!!!

I've got one more card to share with you ;)

Now, where are all my Twi-peeps hiding?!?!
The latest movie is almost here!!! Woo Hoo!!!
Have you seen the latest movie-pics and trailer that were officially released!?
I have to admit, the wolf is looking good, lol! but myyyyy Edward looks pretty good too ;)
I cannot wait to see this wedding!!!

In anticipation of Breaking Dawn,
Pixie's Bookshelf has TWO a challenges going on :)
The first, leave a comment with your fave Twi-Quote!!!
and the second...
Create a card/project inspired by the Twilight Saga and add something sparkle-y to it!

I decided to you use this digital image from Pixie Dust Studio called
"Marry Me... Bella"

Lots of sparkly things going on here, unfortunately you can't see it all so well in my pic...
the paper is The Mariposa Stack from DCWV - lots of sparkle on the swirls and butterflies...

... and I also dug up this 6x6 layout that I made a while ago!
But I love it so much that I just had to share it again :)

Here I used "Love Sparkles" and "True Love"...

Did you hear this song yet????
It sums up the entire Twilight Saga perfectly... I'm so in love with it!
I can't wait to get myself the Breaking Dawn soundtrack :)

Have a wonderful Thursday friends!!! xoxo

Not bad for a super quick 20 minute card ;)
Hope you likey!

"British Invasion" and for their new challenge issued today, must use something with Wings...

I adore this Queen image! She really does look like her!

It's DINO-MITE!!!

Hello! It feels like a looong time has passed since I have been able to post!
Both of my kiddos have been sick again this week! It's a never-ending cold that never full goes away, and with crazy weather, they ended up with sore throats, ear infections and stye's too! geesh!
Thankfully, they are both feeling much better and were able to go back to school today, even though it is one of the coldest days we've had all winter! It's only 5 degrees! brrrr!!!

I need to warm up! and I did by cozying up at my desk with a cup of hot cocoa, nice warm lap blanket and this adorable new release from Pixie Dust Studio!!!
We've got Dinos trampling about!!!

I have 3 cards to share with you :)
First, please meet "Paris the Cave Girl"...

Isn't she the cutest?! She reminds me of Pebbles ;)
I just had to dig out some BasicGrey for her and go girly-orange!

Next, is Paris' best buddy, "Patton the Cave Boy"!!!

SO handsome! and of course he reminds me of Bam-Bam :)
I thought that some school-time Crate Paper fun would go best for my lil man ;)

... and of course no collection is complete without a Princess!!!

She's so sweet! and definitely the Princess of all Dinos :)
I used some sparkly DCWV Songbird DP! Every Princess needs her sparkles ;)

Stop by and pick your fave images today :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving sweet comments!
TGIF!!! and I'll see you all tomorrow :)
Stay warm!!!

A Sweet Pixie Wedding

Good morning Pixie Friends :)
It's time for another awesome
Pixie Dust Studio Challenge (#51) today!!!
This week's challenge is to... "Let's Get Married!"
Created a wedding/anniversary/bridal themed card!!!

Unfortunately, with all the sickies going on in my house, I didn't get the chance (nor energy, lol!) to get my Thursday Challenge cards done :(
BUT, I have an "oldie but goodie" that I dug out to re-share with you ;) hee, hee!

Here's a card that I created when I first started with the Pixies (9 months ago!!!)

This image is called "Forever Love",
the sweetest married couple I've seen ;)
The paper is from DCWV and is smoothly embossed with glitter in it - I loooove when you don't have to do the work yourself ;) LOL! This card is one of my faves! It's still in my keepsake box, I know, eventually I will have to part with it, but for now,
I just love it too much ;)

Have y'all seen this?!?!?!

Who doesn't love things that sparkle?! ;) hee hee!!!
Be sure to come back tomorrow!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
and be sure to visit the rest of the Pixies for more inspiring creations :)

Happy Thursday!!!

Oh, Alice! Chapter 20: In MY Country...

Oh, Alice!
Chapter 20: In MY Country...

"Well, in our country," said Alice, still panting a little, "you'd generally get to somewhere else - if you ran very fast for a long time, as we've been doing."

"A slow sort of country!" said the Queen. "Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!"

(Through the Looking Glass, Chapter 2)

Hello, friends! Can you believe July is here already? Such a fun time of year for summer fun...parades, BBQ's, you name it...it's THAT time of year!

To honor our country's Independence day, with the 4th being right around the corner, we have a PATRIOTIC theme for you today! WONDERLAND has gone RED, WHITE and BLUE!

Call it inspiration, a color challenge....I guess it's really both! Your mission this week is to use...
RED, WHITE and BLUE
on your card or project! In addition we have a WONDERFUL Sponsorship opportunity today. Thank you SO much to EMILY from EAD Designs! Emily has graciously offered the DT some wonderful Alice-themed stickers to use for our projects today (unfortunately our international friends didn't get theirs in time, but hopefully we'll have stuff to show you soon!).

ONE LUCKY WINNER will receive a WONDERFULLY GENEROUS gift certificate to the EAD Designs Store!
Just get your red, white and blue on and ENTER your card HERE to win!
You have until Friday, July 9th at 8pm CST to enter to WIN the gift certificate from EAD Designs!

*For my card, I was thrilled to use EAD Designs' "Alice and Wonderland" Vinyl Stickers! Also using a DCWV polka dotted card with a doilie and added swirly gems and a ribbon...
These vinyl stickers are AMAZING! I loved that I was able to reposition my lil Alice numerous times without any tearing or losng the stickiness to it, etc! Super for those, like me, that cannot make up their minds on the "who, what, when and how's" in figuring out a layout for their cards, LOL!*

We also have a few FUN announcements to make! Sadly we say goodbye to Jimmi this week. We thank her for all her wonderfully twisty designs and will miss her at the tea table here. We are THRILLED to announce at the same time, that Lynne Phelps has accepted a FULL TIME position here right at our twisted table. Lynne's designs TOTALLY WOW'd us as our June Guest Designer and well, some things are JUST SO Alice that they're meant to be! WELCOME LYNNE!

Also, as today is the first challenge of July, a BIG TWISTY welcome to EMMA EADS, our JULY GUEST! We are very excited to have her on board with us for the month of July. Be sure to stop by her BLOG and give her a shout out!

For more inspiration, do take a peek at what my fellow DTMs came up with :)

Jessica {The Mad Hatter} -

To our friends in the U.S. - Have a happy and safe holiday :)
And to everyone else, have a wonderful and crafty weekend!!! :*)

Happy Daddy's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day
to all the Daddy's out there!!!

We have many "dads" in our lives that we have been blessed with and are so thankful for...
- a HUGE hug to my hubs, my boys Da-dee!!! Who works so hard to provide for us and allow me to stay home with our precious bundles of joy :)
- a HUGE hug to my Papi, my boys Papa!!! Who will do ANYTHING to help out and make sure that my boys are always happy! The lollipop provider, the one who comes over everyday to get Nicky off the bus and Matt a walk around the pond :)
- and a HUGE hug to my bro-in-law, my boys Tio Sean, the bestest Uncle in the universe!!! Who always plays video games and takes the time to teach the boys how to bat and throw a the ball the right way ;)

I don't have a card for today, I was too busy with other projects for the last 2 weeks :(  But my boys decided to step in for me and here are their cards :)

Here is a card that Nicholas created for his Daddy using my new Willowbee DP Pad!!! How could I say no? LOL! Look how cute it turned out!... ;)

Here is Matthew's card for Daddy!
He loves using green and brown, his fave colors!

My boys also created cards for their Papa, my Dad {Papi} :)

We were happy to be able to give Papa a small smile today before he flew out to be with family... his Mami, my Abuelita passed away last night... we were blessed to have her in our lives for 102 years! We love her dearly, she will be missed...

Nicky and Matt created their cards using card kits that Krista of Crafty Little Pigtails sent to them along with my Baby Bud Design winnings a few months ago :) Thank you, Krista!
They really enjoyed coloring the image in and laying out all the pieces - and especially the twine! It was fun for them to practice making knots with buttons, lol! :)

Here is Nicky's card...
(Sorry, I apologize for the odd looking pics!)

Here is Matt's card to Papa :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful day with the 'men' in their lives :)
See you tomorrow! HUGS!!!
