I Simply Adore Riley!

It's the weekend!!! Woo Hoo!!!
and I am having SOOO much time getting cleaned/organized crafty today :)
ALL of our Christmas decorations have been put away! and now with the huge tree in storage, I am trying to reclaim my crafty spot!!! Kiddos want the extra space in the living room for their new trunks, race tracks, etc, but this mama needs her big crafty table back so she can start using her sewing machine  and needs more space! It's hard to create in just 18inches of space, lol!
Hmmm, I'm thinking that we may have to re-do the whole living area, just rearrange all the furniture... easy-peasy, right?! hee hee... and the kids bedroom... oh, how it never ends, lol!

I created a fun little Riley card this morning :)
and I used these challenges for it:
- The Ribbon Carousel Challenge #34: Anything goes!
- Crazy 4 Challenges #118: Use Something New
- Card Makin' Mamas Challenge: Use Something New
(My "something new" is the ribbon and flower button.)

I used Stamping Riley to make another Valentine's Day card :)

Have I mentioned how much I love to paper piece?!
Never-mind that it not only saves my Copics from wear/tear - it's also the perfect way to use up all of my little scraps! and I am a huuuge fan of that :)

Well, I better get back to getting crafty cleaning/organizing!
Wish me luck ;)
and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!! xo

Warm Special Wishes

Oh. My. Edward!!!
First, I have yet to see the latest Twilight movie :(
I'm hoping that someone will go with me tomorrow while my kiddos are at school!!!
{hint, hint!!!}

Also! Look what I used on my Riley card for today...
Liquid Pearls!!!
I have had a bottle for over a year! I was SO surprise to see that it didn't dry up, so I decided to give it a try for today's Riley and Company Challenge...
and guess what?!?!
I did the wrooong challenge! eeek, lol!

Today's challenge is to create a Centre Step Card!
an awesome tutorial by Frances can be found HERE on SCS!!!

I don't know what I was thinking, I had Winter Theme stuck in my head! {slaps self on forehead!} I am SO ready for November to be over with, it's just been one mistake and bump on the road after another! I'm hoping that December will be nicer to me :)

I decided to use one of my other favorite Riley stamps from the latest Winter collection:
... and I also used the Karen's latest Sweet Sunday Sketch #145!

Now, if you know me at all, purple is not a fave color of mine, lol!
Every now and then I just have to give it a try, and I always feel like my purple-ish cards come out a bit bland - it's so hard for me to really make purple "pop".. what do you think???

Please be sure to visit the rest of the Moosemates today :)

Thanks again so much for stopping by today!!!
Happy Tuesday :)

Fluttering Blue-Berry {Retro} Style!!!

Goood Mooorning!!!
It's going to be a beautiful day :) I can feel it!!!

Over at The Greeting Farm Challenge Blog today, we are gong "Retro"!!!
It's time to dust off those older stamps!!!

Jessica has challenges us to use her most favorite color-combo:
 "Blue-Berry"
(aka Aqua and Pink)
AND, you must use a Greeting Farm stamp that is
at least 6 months old or older!!!

I also used Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #142 :)
It's been a while since I have made a 'large card',
so I decided to go with a squared 5 1/2 inches...
I loved having so much room to really play with a sketch and stretch things out a bit!

This stamp, Fairy Eva, has been retired and is no longer available :(
BUUUT!!! You can find her in a smaller version, with two of her fairy friends in the
Fairy Princess Clear Stamp Set!!! How cool is that?!

...and no, I did not flip my button/bow over, I meant to do that ;)
hee hee!!! but now that I look at it in the pic, it does look funny and flipped over! oops!

ALSO!!!
Don't forget that the TGF DECEMBER Guest Designer contest ends 11/10
so make sure to get your entries in to Jess before the big reveal of Phase 1 on our Facebook page on Friday, 11/11!

Love You FUR-ever!!!

It's M-O-N-D-AAA-Y!!!
Wow, time sure does fly really fast when you're having a blast!!!
My boys and I had a fabulous weekend - watched old movies, ate some good ol' junk foods and kept comfy and cozy on the couch with our fave pj's, blankets and books :)
Couldn't ask for a more relaxing time!
Is it possible to be over-relaxed to the point where you lose your mojo?!
LOL! 'Cause mine has definitely skipped town at the moment, and if you find him, please send him home! I miss him so much!!! Thanks ;)

Okay, so since it's Monday :)  That means that there is another another Monday Funday
This week, we are being challenge to create with this color-combo:
Black, White AND One Other Color

I truly needed to use my "Furever" Clear Stamp Set again :)
And to help me along, I also used  the latest Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #138...

I had some fun with my yellow-y copics for a new combo for my blondes!
What do you think?!
I used scraps from My Mind's Eye to play with the diagonal panels from the sketch
and that was it! Nice and simple - my fave :)

Please be sure to visit the rest of the DT and their fab creations!

Happy Monday everyone!!! xoxo

Blush-ing...

Hey, hey! How's it going :)
I've been playing around with some scraps that were sitting on my desk and I always stamp 2 or 3 of the same images, it's always good to have a few laying around to color, right!? hee hee... so here's what I came up with yesterday... OH and of course I had a lil help from this week's The Greeting Farm Farm Fresh Mystery Monday Challenge, which is to case or be inspired by Paula's card aaaand I also used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #126 :)

I decided that Bonnie needed to be a dark redhead this time around :)
and I was trying to go with a monochromatic dark aqua but I didn't have cardstock to match and decided to throw in a bit of dark brown to go with the Kraft... I was inspired by the 'notebook DP' that Paula used, and the aqua color... the scattered pearls represent the flowers that she used too ;)

.... hmmm, maybe a bit overboard with the pearls this time??? LOL!

I hope you likey!!!
Thank you ALL sooo very much for your wonderful comments!
This girl is always smiling :) :) :)
Happy Tuesday!!!

Pixie Dust Studio Challenge #44 "Fall into Fall"

Happy Thursday!!!
Sorry! but I'm a bit behind again! With all the sickies earlier this week, and with the last 2 days I've been running around and helping out with a few things, one of them being at the book fair at my son's school :)  How could I stay away from that?! LOL ;) I never got a chance to pre-post my challenges for today, so forgive me for rushing to catch up :)

Here's Pixie Dust Studio's latest challenge...
"Fall into Fall"
Create a card/project with a fall theme to it!
Think leaves and warm colors, like deep browns, purples, reds...

This is the cutest version of "Pocahontas" that I have ever seen! She was just released earlier this week in the "Leaves" Collection that you can now find in the Pixie Dust Studio's Shop!!!

I used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #88 and some Crate Paper's "Restoration" DP that came in my TE September Ingredients Kit :) Beautiful papers! I really had a hard time cutting into these ;) but they fit the challenge so perfectly, I just had to use them! hee hee!

Please stop by the rest of the Pixie's blogs for more inspiration :)

Ciao for now ;)

Little Angel on Cloud...

It's Friday! Yea for everyone!
I have a super sweet lil angel to share today!

This lil one is from Marina Niera's new blog/store called The Stamping Bazaar! Most of us know her from those adorable images at The Greeting Farm!... and this lil cutie is called "Little Angel on Cloud". The moment I saw this image - I instantly fell in love with those freckles! I adore and love people that have freckles! Just love it!

When I was lil, I use to tell my Mom that when I grew up, I was going to marry a tall, red-headed, green/blue eyed and frecke-ly Chef! LOL! My hubs is a great cook, but he's a tad bit on the short side and 100% Italian! That's as close as I got to that one, LOL! ;)

Can you tell that I've been neglecting my other papers lately and really attacking my October Afternoon pad?! Love it!!! and I finally ordered some fresh Kraft CS! Yummmm! The rest is from an ol' cardkit I have laying about and some Prima flowers and pearls :)
Used my Copics, but the hair didn't come out to well, I am in need of some re-fills again... sigh... Oh, and I used my Clear Sparkle Spica Pen on the wings and clouds and forgot to take a pic! and the ribbon is covering up a slight boo-boo I did while using my Oval Nestie ;) Thank you!

I'm entering my card into the following challenges :)

- Flutterby Wednesday #115: Butterfly, Angel or Fairy
(Sorry! I turned it sideways!)

Hope you all likey!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful TGIF!!! :*)

Pixie Dust Studio's "The Nutcracker" Release

Hi again! and Happy Holidays ;)
It's time for another digi release from Pixie Dust Studio!!!

Here's my card! I used the very new and beautiful
"Sugar Plum Fairy"
from "The Nutcracker" digital set...

I'd like to enter my card into these challenges too:
and
Sweet Sunday Sketch #78 - I turned the sketch upside down like this ;)

Miss Sugar Plum Fairy is stunning and very girlie! I had to dig into my stash and find her some very girlie Christmas-y colors and found my very depleted BasicGrey "Eskimo Kisses" 6x6 pad, added a white doilie and trims from Making Memories... I don't think we can get girlier than this ;)
I really do love the non-traditional Holiday colors!
I'm thinking that I could probably use this as a B'day, Thank You or Congrats card too ;)

Here is the entire release - available now at the Studio!

I hope you enjoyed this release too!
Please be sure to visit the rest of the DT's fab creations :)

Thanks for stopping by - Enjoy!!!

Sweet Sunday Sketch & Copic Creations Challenges

It's been a while since I played along with a few challenges :)
... and please just deal with me, lol! There are a lot of pics today, I couldn't decide which ones looked the best!
I've been practicing taking pics in our new home and I cannot seem to find the perfect spot or lighting to take them!!! ... sigh...
For this card, I used Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #31...
And Copic Creations Challenge #10 - Red, Pink and Hearts!!!

Now, they weren't kidding when they said that it was hard to color with Reds and Pinks, lol! I just received my pink Copics a few weeks ago and had not had a chance until now to color with them... the shading isn't very good... and I feel that I colored in her mouth too dark... oh well, practice, practice ;)
I almost forgot about the hearts, luckily, there are a few hearts peeking out on the designer paper ;) and I couldn't decide on a sentiment stamp, so I punched the designer paper and some cardstock and made my own lil flower, lol!
Hippie Anya Card Details:
Paper(s): American Crafts White CS; Prism Pink CS; The Greeting Farm DP.
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm Hippie Anya Stamp
Ink(s): Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Copics; Atyou Spica Glitter Markers
Accessories: Making Memories Glitter Flower Brads; EK Success Circle Punch; misc. ribbon.
So, what do you think???
Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy the start of your new week :*)
Oh! BTW - Die Cuts R Us is having an awesome sale on Copic markers!!! at $2.99 - who can resist?!?! ;)
