They told their Dad all about it and want him to come over for dinner...
Dad said, "Keep wishing!" LOL!
They're a lil upset that they still don't get to meet "Egg-ward" in person... sigh... me too ;)

*Updated* Twilight Tuesday Challenge 45

** Updated Post ***
Hi again!!!
I updated my pics for my TTIC45 layout!!! My beloved Mom ;) Critique my lil Eddie and claimed that not everyone will understand what my layout was all about!!!
GASP!!! How can you not know who he is?!?!?! Imagine that... impossible!!! ;)
I revised my layout - minimally, but enough to make Mom happy :) LOL!

Happy Twilight Tuesday!!!
It's time for another Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge!!!
This week's challenge is from our fearless leader Tonya of Stamp Happens...
"So much is happening with school starting back that we've decided to do a "free day" for our challenge this week. "

First - some announcements...
Design Team Changes!!!
Twilight Tuesday is very pleased and excited to announce that the entire guest design team has been asked to become permanent members of the TTIC DT. They have all accepted and we’re very excited to continue as a team together :)
... additionally, Jacquie of Family and Crafting, has been asked to be the design team manager and she has accepted. Yea!!!
Finally, both Beth of StampInsanity and Tonya of Stamp Happens, are going to serve as “honorary” design team members, rather than permanent ones. They won't be playing along every week, since they both have started new business ventures that are starting to take off!!! Please check out their personal blogs for more info ;)

Now onto Challenge 45!!!
The challenge portion is simply to create any Twilight themed project you desire and share it with us! No hard thinking this week ;)
The comment portion is to tell us if you are getting excited about the New Moon premiere coming up and if you are making any special plans for it."
Now, let's make this a really good one since the whole DT will be taking next week off and will resume again on the 15th :)It seems like forever that I have been saving this Jenni Bowlin DP!!! LOL!
I finally found a reason to use it!
The many, many reasons to {{HEART}} Edward Cullen ;) {{Swooning}}... I am sooooo looking forward to the new movie, New Moon!!!
The trailers are outstanding! It seems that they're going to get the story right ;)
All of the characters look great! and Jacob is, ummmm... breathtaking too! ;)
... but the scene I'm looking forward to the most is -
When Bella finally finds Edward!!!
I'll probably forget to breathe and pass out during that scene ;) hee, hee!!!
12x12 Edward Layout Details:

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #44 - Books!!!

Woo Hoo!!! Happy Tuesday to you, Twilighters!!! Today's your day :)This week, the always lovely Rebecca of Bella Carta, is challenging us with...
Books!!!
Here's what she said -
"Reading the Twilight saga books and is what has brought us all together .... so this week is really dedicated to books. I hadn't stayed up all night reading anything in a very long time, yet that was exactly what I did with these books - I couldn't put them down! Many of you have shared similar stories with me on that topic."
... each book in the series was inspired by and loosely based on a different literary classic: Twilight on Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, New Moon on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Eclipse on Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights, and Breaking Dawn on a second Shakespeare play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Meyer also states that Orson Scott Card and L. M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables series are a big influence on her writing.
Craft Challenge: Make any project that celebrates your favorite book!!!
Comment Challenge: Which novel would you put in Bella's hands??? (classic or contemporary)... Did Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse or Breaking Dawn inspire you to read (or re-read) any of the classics??? Do you compare Edward and Bella to that of Wuthering Heights Heathcliff and Cathy???
One of my fave author's of all time is Richard Paul Evans... he has such a way with words, after reading each one of his books, you cannot help but feel appreciative of all the good things in your own life...
The Last Promise is about...

"Ellen, now called Eliana, has been living in Italy for several years. She's a talented artist in her 30s, originally from a small town in Utah. She came to Italy to study art and soon met and married Maurizio Fernini, the head of a large family agricultural enterprise. What seemed like a fairy tale quickly soured; Maurizio now spends much of his time traveling and philandering, leaving her to care for their severely asthmatic son, Alessio. Eliana knows that in her adopted country she's expected to shrug philosophically at her husband's cheating, but she remains furious and desperately lonely, and even considers illegally fleeing back to America with Alessio. Then she meets American Ross Story, an art lover and tour guide who knows everything about everything in the Uffizi Gallery. Eliana asks Ross to sit for a portrait, and soon she's not nearly as lonely as she used to be. But as the two fall for each other, she faces a tormenting choice between romantic love and her love for her son."

This story really touched my heart... what love do you treasure the most - the love of your child or the love of your soul mate??? Who would you risk? Choose???

The ending is touching and beautiful...

Treasure what you have now - in the end, you might be surprised how things work out :)
Treasure Card Details:
Paper(s): Colorbok "Black Eye Susans" DP; Papertrey Ink Kraft CS
Stamp(s): Heidi Swapp "Treasure" Clear Stamp
Ink(s): Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Stampin Up Chocolate Chip Ink for distressing
Accessories: The Robin's Nest Dew Drops; misc felt flower and ribbon.

Ok, now it's time to go check out all the other Twilight Tuesday gals :)

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge#42

Happy Tuesday Twilight Friends!!!

I'm back! Yea :) So excited to be getting back on track, well almost, lol! and I'm so happy to be playing along again!!! I've missed my Twilight and Twilight-y friends :)
*** Spoiler Alert!!! If you haven't read Breaking Dawn - Do NOT read any further ;)
Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #42 is brought to you today by sweet Erica of Inked Up and Ready To Play!!! Here's this week's theme:

Unlikely Friendship

Here's what Erica said...
"Breaking Dawn is my favorite book of the series, like many of you, so I was really trying to think about what I loved about the 4th book. Of course I love the romance, but that is throughout the whole series. One thing that I love about Breaking Dawn is how SM really looks into Jacob, especially his relationship with his new pack, especially with Leah."

Craft Portion: Make a project using at least 2 items that you wouldn't think normally go together. Whether it be two colors, or two different patterns or something elegant and rough, it is up to you. As far as the subject, have fun with it. Celebrate one of your unlikely friendships or an unlikely friendship in the Twilight Saga.

Comment Portion: Do you have an unlikely friendship? What makes you different but what unites you at the same time?

Here's a card from Jacob to Edward...I never thought that these two guys could ever be friends, but after everything that Edward and Jacob have been through together, they're friends now... in their own special way ;)"Ha, ha!" Card Details:
Paper(s): Papertrey Ink Kraft CS; Wasau Black CS; Stampin Up DP.
Stamp(s): K&Comapany Marcella Condensed Alphabet Stamp Set; StudioG Alphabet Stamp Set.
Ink(s): Stampin Up Basic Black and Bravo Burgundy Markers.
Accessories: The Robin's Nest Dew Drops; Raspberry-Ribbons Button; misc. suede ribbon; Stampin Up Punches. Now, it's time to check out what the team has created ;)

Twilight Tuesday Bonus Challenge with The Greeting Farm!

Woo Hoo! How exciting is this!?!?
Twilight Tuesday is mingling with The Greeting Farm to celebrate the release of their new Wild Sprouts “Edward” stamp!!!

Who can resist lil' Eddie?!?!
Most of you already know - he is my MOST FAVORITE STAMP in the universe!!! ;)

Craft Portion: Create a piece using the classic Twilight color scheme of Red, Black, White and/or Silver, AND you must use a stamp from The Greeting Farm to play along.

Comment Portion: "So many of us turn to these classic colors for Twilight projects, which are clearly inspired by the covers of the books. However, we’d like to know if you have other favorite colors to use for Twilight projects. Do you have any other interesting colors that you like to use?"

Tell us about it!!! Leave your comment on the Twilight Tuesday bonus challenge post!

Ummm... so, I think that I mentioned that this is my fave stamp ;) EVA!!!
So, I went a bit overboard with my lil' Edward stamp and I have 5 cards to share with you!!! YES! You read that right! 5!!!
hee, hee! I had a lil help from 2 lil mini-designers ;)

Here's my first card... Oh! and keep in mind... Alice designed all of his clothes! hee hee
Isn't he the cutest lil guy in the whole entire world!?
I used Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #95 for this card...

It's hard trying to keep the cards as masculine as possible! Now that I know how to tie bows {yea!!!}, I really wanted to add it on... and then, I didn't want the flower to be too flowery, lol, so I altered it a bit by cutting the petals down...
"Bite Me" Card Details:
Paper(s): Bazzill; Making Memories Starry DP; misc. stripe DP.
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm's "Edward" Stamp; Artful INKables "Bite Me" Sentiment.
Ink(s): Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Copics; Atyou Spica Glitter Markers; Stampin Up Markers.
Accessories: Altered Prima Flowers; Dew Drop; Making Memories "Black Tie" Silver Ribbon.
On each card, you might notice that lil' Edward goes through some skin and hair changes! I was trying to figure out which colors work best for the ultimate "Edward look-a-like"!
Here's my 2nd card...
I made up my own sketch for this card :) I've never done that before!
This card is my 5yo's fave one!
He thinks that this is the one that looks the most vamp-y!
Vampy Card Details:
Paper(s): Bazzill; Misc. DP.
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm's "Edward" Stamp
Ink(s): Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Copics; Atyou Spica Glitter Markers; Stampin Up Markers.
Accessories: Making Memories Brads; Misc. Ribbon.
... and here's my 3rd card!
Hmmm, looking at him now... we don't think he looks so Edward-like... his hair is too light...
Is that you, Jasper??? ;)
"Jasper-y" Card Details:
Paper(s):
BasicGrey; Bazzill.
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm's "Edward" Stamp; Artful INKables Sentiment Stamp.
Ink(s): Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Copics; Atyou Spica Glitter Markers; Stampin Up Markers.
Accessories: Misc. brads and flowers; Fiskar Lace Corner Punch.
So, which card do you think looks like Edward the most???

Several members of the Twilight Tuesday DT will be playing along,
Please visit their blogs to see their creations!

Now, I would like to introduce to you to my 2 mini-designers... Nicky and Matt :)
Here's Nicky's card!
Nicky has seen the beginning of the movie up to the part where Eggward "flips" the apple scene!
"Ma! That is the coolest thing ever!!!"
Everytime he sees an apple - he kicks it across the room!
Being 5 1/2 years old, he is very observant!
See closely, lil Eggward is wearing the same clothes as Eggward-doll AND see Apple DP AND the buttons represent Eggwards fave colors!!!
LOL!
Here's Matt's card!
Being that he just turned 3, he has never seen the movie,
but he wanted to make a card too since Big Bro had so much fun creating his ;)
All Matt really wanted to do was hold Eggward-doll, LOL!
... but then he finally decided and said...

"Eggward needs that flower paper, Mommy! It will make him happy!"

Who can argue with that??? LOL!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Happy Wednesday :)
