Hope y'all survived the day of festivities! I know some of you are probably still going at it throughout the weekend! but everyone here is completly exhausted and we're taking the today (Saturday) to do nothing, lol - which technically means to do everything, since we have a million toys to rip out of boxes, put together and pry open battery comparments ;)  Wish us luck!

Having some fun today...

Lovely late evening we're having tonight! So peaceful and quiet!
... I created two cards tonight for a few challenges!!!
One I like, and one I don't like so much! LOL! Ugly paper makes an ugly card! Even the best of the best companies can have a few icky patterns and colors! I tried, but... it's just not doing it for me ;)
Although, the more I look at it, it's starting to grow on me... or maybe it's just that the image is just so darn sweet, it makes up for it! lol!
Ok, first, we'll start with...Soaking Up the Joy from Mo's Digital Pencil!!! This card is for...
Papertake Weekly Sketch #25
Mo's Bronte and Bella's Challenge #1 - Use the color Purple
and
Pile It On 3-D Challenge
Joy Card Details:
Paper(s): BasicGrey Wisteria DP; Bazzill CS; Papertrey Ink CS
Stamp(s): Mo's Digital Pencil "Soaking Up the Joy" Digital Image
Ink(s): Copics; Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Markers
Accessories: All Natural Accents Flowers - White; Altered Making Memories Flowers; Small Round Circle Nesties; Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and Happy Birthday Embossing Folders; Micheal's Dotted Ribbon
Ok, ok... before you look, I'll admit, it is starting to grow on me... but who can resist anything with lil Ian on it ;)
I created this card for...
The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday - "All About a Boy" theme.
Ugly/Cute Card Details:
Paper(s): BasicGrey June Bug DP; Bazzill CS; Papertrey Ink White CS
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm Birthday Boy Ian Digital Image
Ink(s): Copics
Accessories: KI Memories self-adhesive ribbon; The Robin's Nest Dew Drops; Small Round Circle Nesties Awww, be nice to lil Ian ;) hee, hee!!!

Thanks for looking :*)

Fairy Eva & Back-to-School Stories!!!

While my lil guy was making a Lego tower and knocking it over all around my bedroom ;) and 'big boy' was enjoying his freedom ;) I got to make a quick lil card using Mojo Monday's Sketch 103 and Flutter By Wednesday #74 - Use Pink!!! and a butterfly or fairy...
Fairy Eva has to be one of the sweetest TGF stamps!!! Each stamp really has their own lil personalities that just shine through - and Eva seems like the type of Fairy to ease your day and make you smile :) Smile Card Details:
Paper(s): Making Memories Sabrina DP; Recollections Black CS
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm Fairy Eva Rubber Stamp
Ink(s): Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Copics; Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Markers
Accessories: Stampendous Geo Shapes Sparkler Stickers; K&Company Alpha Glitter Stickers; American Crafts Ribbon
So, here was how our Wednesday went... first day of school!
Meet my Kindergartner!!! A day full of "first's" for all of us!!!
For Nicky - First time on the bus!!! First time packing his own lunch!!! First time picking out his whole outfit!!! First time having to go to the cafeteria!!! First time realizing that Mommy was actually not going to be following him anywhere! LOL!
It was a busy day for him :) and thankfully, it was a perfect day too!
For Matt - First time he didn't really mind Nicky being around for so long, more on that in a sec...
For Me - First time I let my baby go somewhere, on a big bus, all by himself AND didn't follow either!!! First time that I counted down every single minute of the day ;)
... and Matt and I ate lunch and had snacks when we knew that Nicky would be eating them too! hee, hee!
So, when Nick got off the bus, he had the biggest, goofiest smile on his face and said:
"I ate my lunch!!!"
LOL!!! I guess he didn't have time to miss us!!! Perfect!!! I'm so happy 'my big boy' is so happy :)
Sooo... Matt didn't feel very well the last night and this morning - he slept in and missed saying goodbye to Nicky... when he woke up, he asked about Nicky, I told him that Nick had to go to school today... Matt said, "Oh, I hope he haves a good day" - Awwwwwwww!
Other than that, I think that he liked having a quiet day alone... he's feeling better, so we'll see how tomorrow goes ;)
Thanks for letting me share!
G'nite :*)

Twilight Tuesday Bonus Challenge with The Greeting Farm!

Woo Hoo! How exciting is this!?!?
Twilight Tuesday is mingling with The Greeting Farm to celebrate the release of their new Wild Sprouts “Edward” stamp!!!

Who can resist lil' Eddie?!?!
Most of you already know - he is my MOST FAVORITE STAMP in the universe!!! ;)

Craft Portion: Create a piece using the classic Twilight color scheme of Red, Black, White and/or Silver, AND you must use a stamp from The Greeting Farm to play along.

Comment Portion: "So many of us turn to these classic colors for Twilight projects, which are clearly inspired by the covers of the books. However, we’d like to know if you have other favorite colors to use for Twilight projects. Do you have any other interesting colors that you like to use?"

Tell us about it!!! Leave your comment on the Twilight Tuesday bonus challenge post!

Ummm... so, I think that I mentioned that this is my fave stamp ;) EVA!!!
So, I went a bit overboard with my lil' Edward stamp and I have 5 cards to share with you!!! YES! You read that right! 5!!!
hee, hee! I had a lil help from 2 lil mini-designers ;)

Here's my first card... Oh! and keep in mind... Alice designed all of his clothes! hee hee
Isn't he the cutest lil guy in the whole entire world!?
I used Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #95 for this card...

It's hard trying to keep the cards as masculine as possible! Now that I know how to tie bows {yea!!!}, I really wanted to add it on... and then, I didn't want the flower to be too flowery, lol, so I altered it a bit by cutting the petals down...
"Bite Me" Card Details:
Paper(s): Bazzill; Making Memories Starry DP; misc. stripe DP.
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm's "Edward" Stamp; Artful INKables "Bite Me" Sentiment.
Ink(s): Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Copics; Atyou Spica Glitter Markers; Stampin Up Markers.
Accessories: Altered Prima Flowers; Dew Drop; Making Memories "Black Tie" Silver Ribbon.
On each card, you might notice that lil' Edward goes through some skin and hair changes! I was trying to figure out which colors work best for the ultimate "Edward look-a-like"!
Here's my 2nd card...
I made up my own sketch for this card :) I've never done that before!
This card is my 5yo's fave one!
He thinks that this is the one that looks the most vamp-y!
Vampy Card Details:
Paper(s): Bazzill; Misc. DP.
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm's "Edward" Stamp
Ink(s): Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Copics; Atyou Spica Glitter Markers; Stampin Up Markers.
Accessories: Making Memories Brads; Misc. Ribbon.
... and here's my 3rd card!
Hmmm, looking at him now... we don't think he looks so Edward-like... his hair is too light...
Is that you, Jasper??? ;)
"Jasper-y" Card Details:
Paper(s):
BasicGrey; Bazzill.
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm's "Edward" Stamp; Artful INKables Sentiment Stamp.
Ink(s): Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Copics; Atyou Spica Glitter Markers; Stampin Up Markers.
Accessories: Misc. brads and flowers; Fiskar Lace Corner Punch.
So, which card do you think looks like Edward the most???

Several members of the Twilight Tuesday DT will be playing along,
Please visit their blogs to see their creations!

Now, I would like to introduce to you to my 2 mini-designers... Nicky and Matt :)
Here's Nicky's card!
Nicky has seen the beginning of the movie up to the part where Eggward "flips" the apple scene!
"Ma! That is the coolest thing ever!!!"
Everytime he sees an apple - he kicks it across the room!
Being 5 1/2 years old, he is very observant!
See closely, lil Eggward is wearing the same clothes as Eggward-doll AND see Apple DP AND the buttons represent Eggwards fave colors!!!
LOL!
Here's Matt's card!
Being that he just turned 3, he has never seen the movie,
but he wanted to make a card too since Big Bro had so much fun creating his ;)
All Matt really wanted to do was hold Eggward-doll, LOL!
... but then he finally decided and said...

"Eggward needs that flower paper, Mommy! It will make him happy!"

Who can argue with that??? LOL!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Happy Wednesday :)
