My boys think that Toby totally ROCKS!!!
My very soon to be 7yo, wants to go and learn how to snowboard so badly! and me, being the Mommy I (usually) am, shivers at the thought of him going down a slippery slope, eeek! LOL!
I used my much loved stack of Echo Park's "Everybody Loves Christmas" again, and the sentiment is from the "Xmas Sweeties" stamp set :)
I hope you likey!!!
Oh! and Toby is just one out of the THREE new digis from the Critter Crew!
and the Farmer's have THREE Rubber Stamps out today!!!
Everything is available NOW in the The Greeting Farm Store
and we can't wait to see what YOU create with these comfy, cozy cuties!

StampInsanity Stamps Challenge #17 - Water, Water, Everywhere!

Good early morning to all of you :)
It's going to be a fab Thursday full of fun challenges!!!

Today we bring you another StampInsanity Challenge!

This week's theme is...
Water, Water, Everywhere!

Here's what Beth said:
"This week we are continuing on with our little celebration of summer ~ letting our mind be inspired by WATER! Do you immediately think of a pool, with the cool aqua & white tones? Or the tropical turquoise and white sand beaches? Or are you a Northern girl and think about the sea foam green seas and the darker sand of the rocky shores?
Tell us about it and let your Grooviness carry you away!"

Here's my card using "Beach Babe Morgan"...

When I think of the water, the ocean - I think of sky blue, almost white, see-through, clean, sparkling, relaxing, peaceful...

I used a small piece of Nikki Sivils Willowbee DP with some sparkling light and dark blue Bazzill CS; along with a small piece of cork for some clean beach sand... created my waves with my MFT Scalloped Scallop Die-namic Die and layered it all up :)

This is the first time that I ever created the card before coloring my image!
Aren't I daring?! LOL!

I colored "Beach Babe Morgan" with my Copics and then added some Crystal Effects to her sunglasses and beach ball! Love how it turned out {especially since I remembered to let it sit and dry before popping it onto the card to take pics, Yea Me!!! hee hee!}

Here is a side view to show you all the layering...

Thanks for stopping by!
You can go and buy your StampInsanity images and stamps HERE at the Stamp Happens Shop!!!

Busy like a Beee!!!

Hi again!
First, if you would like to meet my "Princess and the Cherry" please scroll down to the next post too :)
Thanks!!!
I had a lil fun last night while watching a movie with DH :)
It was a lil before midnight, so I decided that I just had to play some more with my Beeez Kneeez Kit!!!
I needed a lil something extra to stay awake ;)

So I decided to use the following challenges...
When I started my cards, I was using this challenge -

But, I missed the midnight deadline, LOL!
So, then I moved on to their next challenge for this week :)

The Bumble Bees will be buzzing around soon enough ;)

Also used these challenges ;)

- Crazy 4 Challenges #34 - CASE it! (I CASEd Barbara!)

- Die Cuts R Us Challenge #36 - Double Duty (Create 2 projects!)

- Papertake Weekly - Do Something Different!
(My 2nd time stamping directly onto DP
and trying to keep it plain and simple, lol, so not my style!)

Everything is from the kit, except for the black base of the cards...

To be honest, I wasn't too sure about the above card...
it was plain DP, but then I just had to add the flower to the center of it ;)

What do you think?!
Should I have left it CAS???

I love these sparkly handmade dictionary paper flowers!!!
This was my last one :( sniff!
I may have to try to copy and create some of my own :)

Bumble Bees are bumbling!!! ;)

Hope you likey!!!

Happy Twilight Tuesday!!!

Can you believe that we have gone past 50 Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenges and have never dedicated one to Edward!?!?!

Gasp!!!

Thankfully, Jen (Deconstructing Jen), noticed this and chose us to play with Edward this week ;)
Thanks so much!!!

I'm sorry I'm late with my post - today was "fire drill" day in our complex and, well, I forgot! and then I really didn't expect it to take so long... ugh!

Here's the challenges deets...
Craft portion:
Create a project that focuses on Edward.

Comment portion:
How do you feel about Edward’s character? Is it like, love or disdain? Have you read the partial draft of Midnight Sun? What did you think about reading the story from his point of view?

Here's my "I {{heart}} Edward Cullen" layout...

It's love at first sight... sigh... I really do with that Midnight Sun would be finished and released asap!!!
Don't forget!!!

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge 49 & Sketches

It's Tuesday!!!
Time for another round of...

Challenge 49...

"Home is where the heart is"

"Throughout the series Bella discusses a lot of homes. She spends a lot of time at home, maybe not her home, but if the saying is true, it is home to her. This challenge is pretty simple."

Here are some of the houses discussed in the book...
Charlie's house: unchanged since Renee moved out. I always remember her discussing the yellow cabinets in the kitchen. Kind of small, a sort of bachelor pad with a bit of an outdated woman's touch.
Renee's homes.
The Cullen's house: Giant windows, open, white, three stories, a mix of modern and classic.
The house on Isle Esme.
Edward and Bella's cottage: small, a mix of styles, stone floors, small garden, fireplace, think Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs...
Emily Young's house with the flower boxes and something always cooking.
Billy Black's small but welcoming home.

Craft Portion:
Make a project based on either a home discussed in the series or what home means to you.

Comment Portion:
If you could build your dream home, what would it be like???

For my home card, I also used Sketch 12...
I wanted to create something based on Edward and Bella's cottage since that would be my ideal home - something not too small, but cozy, family/kid friendly... Warm, comfy and inviting! With lots of closets, or at least one giant Alice-size one ;) tons of bookshelves and of course a crafty corner by the kids domain :)

... but I went with the Cullen's house ;)
The Cullen's main areas seem to be warm and inviting, but precise, immaculate and modern!
I tried to re-create that feel with clean cut colors and straight edges...
I also created a card for Sketch 11... just because! LOL! Like I needed an excuse to keep using my new Twilight stamp set!!!
mmmm... go ahead and sparkle for me, Edward ;)
TEAM EDWARD!!!

Very Late - Farm Fresh Friday!!!

I am sooo late on posting my Farm Fresh Friday Challenge for The Greeting Farm... but technically, I still have about 40 minutes before Wednesday is officially over ;) hee, hee!

Here is Jessica's sketch!!!
... and here's my take on it :)
Every time I use one of The Greeting Farm's stamps, it becomes my fave of all! Yesterday, it was the Miss Anya's! and today, well my heart belongs to Skater Ian ;)
My boys and I went for a walk around the man-made pond here in our new complex, and we saw a bunch of teens hanging out with their skateboards and bikes... they all had these sneakers on, bright solid colored sneakers - don't know the brand, lol! - they're just super bright and bold! So, my boys reminded me that I had to make Ian's sneaks look like those "cool boys" ;) lol!
Skater Card Details:
Paper(s): Bazzill Black Tie CS; BasicGrey "Obscene" DP and CS; Papertrey Ink White CS.
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm's Skater Ian Stamp; StudioG Hi and Hello Sentiments.
Ink(s): Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Copics; Atyou Spica Glitter Markers.
Accessories: Swiss Dots Embossing Folder; Making Memories Ribbon and Button Brads; StudioG Glitter Glue.
Thanks for stopping by again :)
Have a wonderful night!!!
I'll be back with some Sassy and Dog Gone creations ;)
