Oh, Alice! Chapter 21: Breaking ALL the Rules...

"At this moment the King, who had been for some time busily writing in his note-book, cackled out `Silence!' and read out from his book,
`Rule Forty-two.
ALL PERSONS MORE THAN A MILE HIGH TO LEAVE THE COURT.'

Everybody looked at Alice.

`I'M not a mile high,' said Alice.
`You are,' said the King.
`Nearly two miles high,' added the Queen.

`Well, I shan't go, at any rate,' said Alice: `besides, that's not a regular rule: you invented it just now.'
`It's the oldest rule in the book,' said the King.

`Then it ought to be Number One,' said Alice."

Hello everyone!
Today, Oh, Alice! has a fun and rather rebellious challenge for all of you out there in WONDERLAND! We start out with a lovely sketch by our very own, Sammi:

The catch?
You must RE-CREATE this sketch somehow!
Switch out a panel or two, flip on its side, upside down, etc. There are no rules except to break them, meaning you can't follow the sketch exactly! Makes no sense right? GOOD :)
Today we also are thrilled to announce another wonderful sponsorship from SPESCH DESIGNER STAMPS! Thank you so much to Tracey Feeger for allowing the DT to work with your adorable images! Tracey is offering a prize of a VERY generous $10 Gift Certificate to the Spesch Designer Stamps Store! Be sure to check out all of her cute designs and be sure to play along this week for your chance to WIN!

Easy-peasey! Right?!
Y'all know how I have such a hard time following a sketch, lol!
This was perfect for me ;)

I used "The Rabbit" with some of this amazing Wonderland-inspired Designer Paper that my lil sis gave to me... added a few puffy-pom-pom-thingys from Recollections that I have had for a very long time... the sentiment is from EAD Designs "Alice and Wonderland" Sticker Sheet...

You have until Friday, July 16th at 8pm CST to enter to win!
Good luck and be sure to link your creation HERE!!!

It's a Mermaid Boy!!!

Howdy! Yea, I know I said I was taking a bit of a break 'til Tuesday...
but who can not resist coloring in this cutie :)

First, I'd like to thank everyone who commented on my mini-Guest Designer, Nicky's, post!
He LOVED all of the responses that was received! and loved even more learning about where y'all come from! He grabbed the Atlas and couldn't belive that so many people in the world can see his stuff :) Too cute!

Thank you sooo very much for making my boy smile from ear to ear for days :)

"It's a Mermaid Boy!!!" - that's what my boys screamed when they saw Mer Ian, lol! They never knew or thought that a boy could be a mermaid too :)  and what a coincidence it was to watch a special Dora movie all Dora saving the mermaids kingdom - boys and girls! It was a fun afternoon!

So here's my lil Mer Ian for The Greeting Farm's CHA Relay Contest! I usually don't make cards everyday, I always try to do a few at a time, but like I said, who can resist anything that comes from the Greeting Farm ;)

Once I printed Mer Ian, I pulled out my Matey Set, thinking I would be using Pirate Anya...
I decided to go with just the sentiment and handsome blue papers with a bit of distressing -
Ian deserves the spotlight :)
Look closely (or click on pic) - see my boy sparkle for me!

MerBoy Card Details:
