Sweet Anya Love

Hey, hey! It's a Tuesday around here!
Eh! Still not feeling so good;
it's like a sinus infection and headcold combined into one,
it's a specialy of mine... so not fun...

Last week, I got to clean up my closet and I found a shoebox-sized box with some old stamps that I had gotten 1 to 2 years ago and never used!!! OMGosh!!! It was a wonderful "Christmas-y" kind of moment ;)
I got to use one of those stamps in my last post, and here's another stamp...

I have used this sentiment from this Greeting Farm stamp set a bunch of times,
but had forgotten about the actual set and the sweet Anya and Ian that came with it!
I used Club Anya's latest Saturday Sketch and paper pieced her lil dress...
I {cough}borrowed{cough} this beautiful lace from my sister, Sarabeth and
thought that these awesome button-stitched-flowers from Sassafra Lass
would tie it all together nicely :)

Me likey! I hope that you do too :)

I am entering my card into these challenges :)

Thanks for stopping by again!!!
Enjoy :)

"BUTTERFLY" Blog Linky Party Today!!!

It's a Butterfly Party!!!
Eva of "For the Love of Live" has put together a Blog Linky Party!
For the master list, please visit her blog :)
A {huge hug} to Angie, for inviting me to play along :)

Even though I am sooo not feeling good right now....
cough, sniffle, sneeze... sigh...
I needed to get up from the couch and do something :)
{something other than dishes and laundry, ugh!}
And I ended up doing 2 somethings!!!

First, I dug out some of my fave Nikki Sivils "Flaming Butterfly" DP
and my TGF "Butterfly Wishes" stamp set...

Used my MFT Scalloped Die-namic too ;)
and some long lost bling!

I kept digging through my old stash
and found some more yummy papers (Sassafras Lass?)...

... and a few stamps from Susana's Custom Art and Designs (?)
that I forgot I had and have never ever inked up!

This lil flutterby looked very Alice-esque to me :)

I'm entering this card into the following challenges too:
- Flutterby Wednesday Challenge #145: Photo Inspiration + Butterfly, Fairy or Angel
- Sarah Hurley Challenge #33: Flowers

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy fluttering around :) :) :)

"Katie for a Cure"

Good Thursday morning everybody!
{Please click HERE or scroll down a bit to see this week's Pixie Dust Studio's challenge,
Thank YOU!}
There is a new StampInsanity Stamp release
and a challenge collaboration with

Challenge #20 (SISC20) is a color combo of...
Pink and Black

I'd like to also enter my card to the following challenges:
- Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #16 - Pink and Black
- My Time To Craft Challenge #100 - "Check It Out!"
(Look closely at the hearts and skulls are checked!)

Today's release is a special release, one that affects many people today and around the world...

From the owner of StampInsanity Stamps, Beth:

"Katie for a Cure is a very special set I designed to honor my cousin Kate, who earlier this year, at age 33, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Kate is the picture of health and vitality, and her spirit is magical. She has two very young children, and is in the prime of her life – which makes her diagnosis all the more distressing. As only Katie can, she is fighting this disease with the strength and grace of a pure champion. Her story is sadly not unique, but this is my Katie, and I had to do something. It is tragic, but I am sure that my family is not the only one to have this disease repeatedly rearing its head at us. It is my hope that together we will raise a donation that we can all be proud of. And if nothing else, Kate will get a smile from all the beautiful cards that you share with us. Thank you all in advance for your donations and your creations!"

This image and set for Katie and Breast Cancer is fabulous, you can tell that a lot of love went into creating this set :)  I really wanted to give my card a StampInsanity feel to it...
So, I pulled out some of my horded stash of Sassafras Lass DP and Papertrey Ink CS; added a doilie and May Arts Ribbon, some bling from Recollections and used up every single Pink-colored Copics that I own :)

I hope Beth, Katie and all of you likey as much as I do :)

Here's the entire digital set:

The cost for the set will be $10
with ALL proceeds benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Please be sure to visit the Groovy girls 'Pink and Black' creations...

And a huge thank you to the Fussy and Fancy DT for their groovy support!!!
Do stop by the Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog too and see their amazing projects this week :)

Feeling Glum???

NOT today!!!
It's TGIF!!! How can you be?! hee, hee!

Here's a lil card I created {loosely} using Pam's
Club Anya Saturday Sketch...
I kinda turned the sketch sideways (?) and I didn't want to cover up those pretty rainbows, so I decided to put those cornered flowers on the same side rather than diagonal-y from each other...

I love lil Wild Sprout Audrey, whenever we hang out,
she always makes me giggle! :)

I tickled Miss Audrey with my Copic coloring and popped her up; DP is from Sassafras Lass and the sentiment is from a Cosmo Cricket Pad; everything else is misc. scraps from card kits I have laying around...

I hope you likey!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fab Friday :*)

StampInsanity Stamps Challenge #13 - An Awesome Recipe!

Happy Thursday to you!!!
Are you ready for the latest challenge from
I am!!! ;)

This week we challenge you with a recipe:
- Black Cardstock
- Pearls

Here's what I found and put together...

I had originally intended on using my SU skull dp, but had a lil mishap with it - don't ask! LOL! It's just one of things you wish you could take back ;)
So, I quickly grabbed my back up stash of already printed out images - StampInsanity Stamps "Nicholette" Digital Image - found my lil stash of "borrowed" Sassafras Lass from lil sis ;) and added my Prima flowers and pearls! It all came together really quick! I love when that happens :)

Here's a closeup of Nicholette! I love her stockings and skirt! So much fun to color!

Oh, Alice! is Gettin' Sketchy...

"Little bread-and-butterflies kiss the tulips, and the sun is like a toy balloon.
There get up in the morning glories, in the golden afternoon.
There are dizzy daffodils on the hillside, strings of violets are all in tune,
Tiger lilies love the dandy lions, in the golden afternoon,
the golden afternoon.
There are dog and caterpillars and a copper centipede,
where the lazy daisies love the very peaceful life they lead... "

Hey everyone!

Here is my card!!!

I drew some major inspiration from 4 different places for my card :)
First, Jen's sketch tweaked just a bit to fit everything ;)

Then! Randi (Dark Mermaid) reminded me of THIS awesome paper that I had "borrowed" from my lil sister and have been holding onto forever!!! And I do admire Randi's coloring sooo much! I just had to give my lil sprout, Ebony, some awesome pink hair :)

Next! Ever since I landed on THIS blog post by fellow DT member, Kristy (Delicious Papercrafting), I have been in love with her style and her use of - doilies!!! I just purchased a few packets of doilies today, so I just had to add one in - or at least half of one, lol!

And fourthly! To finish my card off! The Burtonesque Dolls Challenge #3 - Use black flowers and skulls on your project! The perfect finishing touches ;)

Thank you ALL sooo much for helping me out!!!

Oh, Alice! Chapter 9: Sunny, Sketchy, Afternoon...

Alice in Wonderland,
how do you get to Wonderland?
Over the hill or underland,
or just behind the tree?
When clouds go rolling by,
they roll away and leave the sky.
Where is the land beyond the eye,
that people can not see, where can it be?
Where do stars go,
where is the crescent moon?
They must be somewhere in the sunny afternoon.
Alice in Wonderland, where is the path to Wonderland?
Over the hill or here or there, I wonder where.

Hopefully it's a sunny and golden afternoon in your neck of Wonderland!
At Oh, Alice! this week,
we have a Sketch Challenge for you today

Happy Halloween Blog Hop Part 1

TGIF!!! and Happy Halloween :) It's here!!! The Halloween Blog Hop!!!
... and thanks to my lil sis, Sarabeth of Scrap Happie, I also have some old, old, old, pics to share with you too!
First - if you're following along with the hop and just came from Alison's Blog, then you are in the right spot ;)

If not, and would like to start from the beginning {{Click Here!}}

Ok, there is no where to hide from these photos ;)

<--- Here's a pic of me and lil sissy! I don't know whose costume is more embarrassing to admit! LOL! I don't even remember what I'm suppose to be! I'll have to ask Mom later... and Sara is a Cabbage Patch Kid! Ha!

... and here's me with my Dad! I'm suppose to be a scarecrow! Mom made this costume...

And here's the adorable little sister again, stealing the show with this adorable clown costume!
My parents are definitely not fans of Halloween! We were lucky enough to dress up! but no makeup! Mom wasn't a fan of makeup, so we never got to wear any, lol!

I have 2 cards to show you today... and then tomorrow I will have 2 more Halloween-y cards to share :)
Is it a dinosaur? monster? alligator? LOL!
Isn't Pink Cat Studio's Itty Bitty Bobby in a Dino Costume adorable???
He's suppose to be a Dino, but my boys couldn't make up their minds as to whether or not Itty bitty Bobby really is dressed up as a Dino... he could be an Alligator... or a monster ;)

As you can see by the DP I chose, I was a bit confused too! On the first card, is Itty Bitty Bobby a Monster like the Sassafras DP??? or an alligator like the brads???
... or is he truly a Dino...???
You decide ;) We're all good with him being all 3!!!
Ok, I think that I have kept you here long enough...
It's now time to hop on over to... Jeri's Blog

Enjoy the rest of your hop :) See you tomorrow!
... and a huge THANK YOU to Sarabeth for taking the time to put this hop together for us :*)

Monster Card Details: Paper(s): BasicGrey Archaic DP & CS; Sassafras Lass Monstrosities DP; SU CS. Stamp(s): Pink Cat Studio Itty Bitty Bobby - Dino Costume Digital Image. Ink(s): Copics. Accessories: Making Memories Aligator Brads; Ribbon & String; The Robin's Nest Dew Drops.
