Sweet little pumpkin...

Good afternoon crafty friends :) I have a lil card to share with you!
I was a lucky gal yesterday- thanks to hubs - I had a good solid 4 hours to hide in my lil scrappy room :) I should have napped, but making a bunch of cards was relaxing for me too ;) It was bliss! Especially since I haven't even been able to go near my stuff today...

This lil guy is for InStyle Stamps Color Combo Challenge - Orange and Black... Pumpkin Card Details:
Paper(s): Making Memories Spook Alley DP; Papertrey Ink Black & White CS
Stamp(s): InStyle Stamps "Patches" Digital Image
Ink(s): Copics
Accessories: Making Memories Ribbon and String; Raspberry-Ribbons buttons; CM Corner Punch.

Isn't he sweet?! I just want to squish him!!! Fun to color too :)
My 5yo is going to give Patch to his teacher - tomorrow is their Fall Festival and I get to meet him in his classroom, take a look around and then go pumpkin picking in their fake lil pumpkin patch out in the field :) Hopefully I'll stop coughing a bit, I don't want to spread the germs to the kiddies ;) We want to have some fun! hee, hee

Enjoy your night! :*)

Hope y'all are enjoying your Tuesday ;)
It's time for a Die Cuts R Us Challenge!!!
This week's challenge is from Jessica of The Whimsical Butterfly... to use die cuts or punches to make a layered embellishment for your card (aka flower, ribbon slide or tag, etc.).

Here you can see the layers... I'm calling them "Margie's version of lollipop-flowers", lol! but my DH is calling them, "Butterfly Wheels". I'm thinking that I should have added some stems...???
Hmmm... Dear Hubs, you're being a mean boy, go away!!! ;) LOL!

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge#42

Happy Tuesday Twilight Friends!!!

I'm back! Yea :) So excited to be getting back on track, well almost, lol! and I'm so happy to be playing along again!!! I've missed my Twilight and Twilight-y friends :)
*** Spoiler Alert!!! If you haven't read Breaking Dawn - Do NOT read any further ;)
Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #42 is brought to you today by sweet Erica of Inked Up and Ready To Play!!! Here's this week's theme:

Unlikely Friendship

Here's what Erica said...
"Breaking Dawn is my favorite book of the series, like many of you, so I was really trying to think about what I loved about the 4th book. Of course I love the romance, but that is throughout the whole series. One thing that I love about Breaking Dawn is how SM really looks into Jacob, especially his relationship with his new pack, especially with Leah."

Craft Portion: Make a project using at least 2 items that you wouldn't think normally go together. Whether it be two colors, or two different patterns or something elegant and rough, it is up to you. As far as the subject, have fun with it. Celebrate one of your unlikely friendships or an unlikely friendship in the Twilight Saga.

Comment Portion: Do you have an unlikely friendship? What makes you different but what unites you at the same time?

Here's a card from Jacob to Edward...I never thought that these two guys could ever be friends, but after everything that Edward and Jacob have been through together, they're friends now... in their own special way ;)"Ha, ha!" Card Details:
Paper(s): Papertrey Ink Kraft CS; Wasau Black CS; Stampin Up DP.
Stamp(s): K&Comapany Marcella Condensed Alphabet Stamp Set; StudioG Alphabet Stamp Set.
Ink(s): Stampin Up Basic Black and Bravo Burgundy Markers.
Accessories: The Robin's Nest Dew Drops; Raspberry-Ribbons Button; misc. suede ribbon; Stampin Up Punches. Now, it's time to check out what the team has created ;)
