A Unity Funny & Coloring Miss Anya

The boys over at Unity Stamps decided to play around and make a "Take & Make" video for their new Scrapbooking/Collage Collection... I was watching the video and LOLing...

... my 3yo, Matthew, came over wanting to know what I was laughing at...
He proceeded to sit on my lap and asked to go back to the beginning of the 'movie'...As the 'movie' started, he got really serious about it and was very quiet... half way through he said, "This is not funny and not berry nice..." With his eyebrows pulled together, he continued with, "These mens are not being good boys - they're playing with Mommy project stuff! Only Mommies and kids are aloud to do project stuff! Not mens!!!"

Sorry, but this lil guy was not happy with the "Mens" of Unity, LOL!!! Even after he left go watch Noggin, he was still kinda annoyed, hee hee!

However, I surely did enjoy it! Love the pink Croc-a-dile in the toolbelt ;)
Looking forward to their new Collection too!!!

Ok, sooo, this afternoon I had some time to play with my Copics...
I really want to try to get the right coloring and shading for hair... and I thought that the Miss Anya set was the perfect gals to give it a try with ;)Sooo, what do y'all think? This is also only my third time using the blender too!
I think that my blonde's are turning out a bit to yellow-y! LOL!
Any tips would be extremely appreciated and grateful :)

Oh! and I'm not even attempting Red-heads yet!!! I tried one and she looked like she got dipped into the Kool-Aid man's pitcher! hee, hee! Poor girl!

Thanks for looking :*)

Your son cracks me up...lol. What a cutie.

Your girlies look darling. I always add a little of a brownish orange to my blondes. Like YR24 or YR23.

For red heads, I use E08 and E09. It's more of a reddish brown. :) Glad you're having fun with your Copics!

Hey Margie! Glad you found us (Pocket Edward's Hawaiian Adventures) so that's how I found you! You did an awesome job on the hair coloring! I haven't watched the Unity video yet, but just reading your post and seeing your little boy's reaction to the "mens" made me LOL! He's a cutie! Anyhoo, hope you'll get a chance to check out my blog and see more of Robward! Hugs and Aloha, Linda

WOW! I think you did great on the coloring. I need to find a blender pen now. I think that would help me out too.

LOL, too funny, love his face!! Oh Margie, I've been meaning to do the same thing as you with hair colors, just haven't done it yet, but I'll be adding the copic #s to mine, I usually use 3 colors. This is great!
