Pixie Dust Challenge #11 - a 3D Project!

We're MAD about this week's Pixie Dust Challenge!!!

This week we {and you} are to create a 3D project...

I'm also entering my project to the following challenges :)
- Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge 5 - Movie (Alice in Wonderland)
(Memories, I loved school too! My fave were new notebooks and pencils!)

My mojo has sorta upped and left me again... sigh...
Thank goodness for challenges ;)

I had such a hard time coming up with something for this challenge...
There was so much to work with, I just couldn't narrow it down, lol!

... and then a few days ago,
we got a letter from the Nicky's Kindergarten teacher
asking parents to try to get the kids to practice more on their writing.
My Nicky adores school!
But I have to admit, for a Kindergartner he does a lot of school and homework
and is sometimes tired or bored and doesn't want to do extra stuff -
so I'm always looking for ways to make things more fun and special for him...
So, this is what finally came to my mind 2 days ago!

I created this ABC practice notebook for Nicky :)
He was super excited to be getting a "dressed up" black and white notebook!
... and, of course,
he requested that the Hatter be front and centered where everyone can see him ;)

So, here he is!!!
It says "Abc's R FUN"
I used my Slice's Animal Cracker cartridge for the lettering!
... and isn't this Prima DP perfect for boys!!!

I definitely have to create another book for Matt!
... and maybe a pair of books for numbers too!

Here's a close up of the handsome "Touch of Depp" image...
... and here are some pics of the inside...
every few pages I stamped a letter for him to copy...
on the pages in between,
he has room to color a pic and practice writing words that begin with
the corresponding letters of the alphabet :)
Mad ABC Notebook Details:
Paper(s): Prima - Just Corina "Dude Collection" DP
JustRite Pre-inked Alphabet Letters
Ink(s): Copic Markers and Atyou Spica Glitter Pens
Accessories: Making Memories Slice - Animal Crackers Cartridge;
Spellbinders Labels Eight Nestabilities
... and of course, the backside :)
No embellies of any sort!
It wouldn't last a day with him tugging this around everywhere, lol!
And I made sure to add extra adhesive so nothing should tear either!
{Crossing fingers!}
Thanks soooo much for stopping by today!
I look forward to seeing everyone's entries!
Remember, you don't need to have a Pixie Dust image to enter,
but you could win one ;)

Have a wonderful Thursday :*)
