Sometimes you just need to create something to lift your heart...
I was feeling a bit blue yesterday... and just needed to keep busy...
I created an art journal page, but feel that it is a bit too personal to share right now.
I also created about 4 cards to cheer me up and I am going to share 2 of them for now ;)

I caved and treated myself to this sweet girly stamp set, Lani from Taylored Expressions Moka Collection... and a new paper pad, Splash, by Echo Park!
I know I said that I am working on my scraps, lol! but I have organized my scraps so well and only have a handful of scrap cardstock, I figured I better get a head start to replenishing my empty bin ;) hee hee

It's not often that I color any of my images with blonde hair, but I just had to give it a try and I really do love how bright and warm this card turned out :)
For my next girl, I had to give her dark hair ;)

Isn't it amazing how well these Recollection flowers match!?!?
I looove how this one turned out too! SO different from the first because of the Kraft CS and darker colors! and I really enjoyed coloring in her skirt!!! Every girl needs a rainbow skirt, right?!?! lol!

Oh, and if you take a closer look - you can see which DP can be pieced back together :)
SEE? I'm already using my scraps, hee hee!!!
and I'm so happy with the way these pics turned out too! It seems that my new camera and I may just get along after all ;)

I hope you likey these two as much as I do!

I'm also entering both of my cards into the following challenges:

Enjoy your 'humpy' day! xoxo
