Stuff and stuff and MORE stuff...

No packing or anything today - just the basics, I was too tired and needed a break already!

Woooooo Hoooo! FINALLY!!!... I finally got my Copics in the mail today! LOL... my basic 12 set came from Hanna Stamps... http://www.hannastamps.com/

I tried to color in the lil' stamp that I made on my cards....

I realized instantly that these markers are not for just 'coloring' in an image... I must learn how to properly use these babies!... I have seen a few tutorials AND I know that this blog ---> http://ilikemarkers.blogspot.com/ will definitely come in handy! THANK YOU!!!

BUT... does anyone know if there is a 'how to' book for Copic markers?
I also found http://www.copicmarker.com/articles/news, but I would love to have a book - sometimes you just can't get to a computer! Hmmm... if you have any info PLEASE let me know... when I have more time I will definitely have to look into this and do my homework :)

<--- see my lil' copic house, lol...

My Mami bought these cute lil' Halloween self-inking stamps that she found at CVS today. Aren't they cute?! The boys absolutely loved stamping today - they wanted to be like their mommy and Titi Sara :)

<---Here's my Matt's layout of ghosts and 'poonkins', lol...

<--- and here's my Nicky's layout! I think that he was favoring the ghost stamp a bit, lol... I believe that these stamps may be out of ink already, LOL! Maybe we will stop back and pick up a few more - it really kept them entertained and sitting still for a while - I could really use that right now ;)

BTW!... I'VE BEEN TAGGED!!!

Here are the rules...
1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Here's my tagger: JACKIELOU from http://nursejae.blogspot.com/

SEVEN THINGS ABOUT ME:
1. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE MY 2 LITTLE BOYS!!! Everyday with them is such a blessing! And I truly believe that I learn more from them than they do from me :) No matter how old they get, they will always be my babies ;)
2. I LOVE ketchup and use it on almost everything! (ask my lil' sis, it gross' her out!)... and yes, I am definitely one of those people that ruins steak with it! LOL
3. I have always wanted to learn how to play the violin! I have owned a violin for over 11 years now and have never learned how to play, lol... about 6 or 7 years ago I bought a few books and took about 3 lessons - that was it, LOL... maybe someday :)
4. I believe in karma - what you give is what you get darlings...
5. I strongly DISLIKE pepper and spicy foods!
6. When I was little, I dreamt of having a huge family - like the Brady bunch, but I wanted 8 kids (4 boys, 4girls) - I don't know what I was thinking! I could never handle that! Bless those who can :)
7. I am determined to go back to school and get a degree in something - before I die! I hope to start in January 2009 - cross your fingers and toes for me!

OK, now here are the 7 people I would like to tag:

1. My lil' sis, Sara - http://swirlorama.blogspot.com/
2. Ellie - http://scrapbookmamaof4kidz.blogspot.com/
3. Toni - http://whimsicalthoughts-toni.blogspot.com/
4. Jami - http://westamphappy.blogspot.com/
5. Joke - http://joke-idontwannastop.blogspot.com/
6. Michelle - http://michellewooderson.blogspot.com/
7. Maria - http://stampininspirations.blogspot.com/

Now, I'm suppose to go and comment everyone - and I will - tomorrow, lol... it's getting really late. Plus - eventually someone will have to stop this tag, it's like a chain-letter, lol... it's going to keep on going and going... ;)

Tomorrow I will be cleaning out the boys closet and packing again... YUCK!

Have fun with your copics, I am still trying to learn how to "play" with them too!! Did you get a blender with it? It helps to move color around.

I think you did a fabulous job with your Copic markers. . .it does have a huge learning curve but technique or not, coloring with Copic always comes out nice.

Love the cute handmade layouts! LOL! both are sweet.

I believe in Karma too!! Good luck with school. I've always loved school but my school days are over!!

Thanks for the tag!

Maria
