Good evening everyone!
I am finally able to get my blog going again, lol! Luckily I had preposted my last post, but I've missed out on a few things and will be keeping the ol' blog-o busy this week ;)
For my first post, I'd like to start off with a small salute to my little sister, Sarabeth!
Some of you know her from her blog - Scrap Happie...
She's taking a bit of a blog/craft break for the next 10 weeks or so to concentrate on her acceptance to a prestigious CNA course and we are ALL SO VERY VERY VERY PROUD of her :)
She started tonight! So as I type we are thinking of her sitting in her new classroom getting her first set of instructions, syllabus, etc. I've seen some of her textbooks! It will not be an easy thing! ;)
We wish her all the best! and LOVE her sooo very much :*)
I saw this adorable lil Pure Innocence stamp at My Favorite Things called "Best Medicine" and knew it would come in handy ;) I adore all of Heather Ellis' digital images, and even more so now, since there is an option to get them in stamp form too!!!
The sentiment is from a Verve Stamp Set that I received from Tonya - Thanks, sweetie!
(Papers are from Creative Imagination, lace is also from MFT and the heart is a 3D sticker from Me & My Big Ideas and the flower die cut was created using my Slice :)
I'm also entering my card to the following challenges:
- My Favorite Things July Challenge: Red, White and Blue
- Friends Having Fun #4: Red, White and Blue
- Friends Having Fun #4: Red, White and Blue
- Raise the Bar Challenge #25 - Colors of your Flag

I have another card to share!
I created this card for Elizabeth, the lil girl that my Mom babysits for; she will be 6 this Saturday! She is such a girly-girl and loves anything related to Princess'... I hope she loves this other Pure Innocence image as much as I do ;)
I used parts of a card kit that I purchased from Joanne Basile of Just a Little Something, and put my own spin to the layout and embellies...
I think I found a new type of Kraft CS to play with! Yea! This one is called "Fossil" and it's from MFT, their cardstock is awesome too!... The scalloped border is also from MFT's Die-namics; assorted ribbons from MFT, Making Memories and Tayolored Expressions... Another ticket stub from Tim Holtz (have you seen the new stamps!?)
I'm entering this card to the following challenges:
- My Favorite Things "Wednesday Stamp Club" Challenge: Trio of Ribbons
- Crazy 4 Challenges #44 : 2 or more Ribbons
- Crazy 4 Challenges #44 : 2 or more Ribbons
I hope you likey!!!
