My Sweet Angel Card...

Good Friday everyone!!!
Wow, another week just blew away and it's February!!!
I have to be honest, I was actually a bit afraid to post for today, lol!
It's been so long since I've posted anything here, I'm thinking that people have either forgotten about me or are mad or both! ha! Sorry!
I had to step back for a bit and figure out why my mojo has been lacking so much lately. It's never been this bad before and I have felt so overwhelmed and sad by it. I've been blogging and doing my thing here for 3 1/2 years now, and I have never stayed away for more than 3 days at a time.
It's time to make some changes! and have some fun!

So for now, I want to share with you the card I made for today's

This week, we are 'case-ing' Jas' card!!!
and this is what I came up with:

This is my first time using my sweet Angel Anya rubber stamp!!!
Isn't she gorgeous!?

I used a scrap of Echo Park DP, found a paper silver doily and colored her up with my Copics... even did a bit of distressing there, lol! Quick simple card... wondering what occasion I could use this one for...???

Here's a close up at her sparkly halo and wings :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I truly do love my visitors and comment-ers :)

Please be sure to check out the rest of the DT and see what they've been up to!!!

Don't forget that tomorrow TGF will have another
sketch challenge posted on their SCS forum!!!

Happy weekend!!!

Very cool :) hee hee!

For the first sketch, I decided to finally ink up my new

All 3 Miss Anya's in the set are so pretty! I couldn't decide who to color up first, and then finally decided to use this one since I love daisies and those braids in her hair! She's so pretty :)
I also used my Flutter Heart Clear Stamp Set for the sentiment! There are SO many possibilites with this set, one of my faves! With all those pendant stamps, eeek! So much fun :)

Here's a peek at the sketch for this week:

Hee hee! Yes, I created the sketch! With Jessica and Marie's help :)

She looks so fun and festive :)

My next card is definitely my last holiday card of 2011, hee hee!!!
This card is for this week's TGF Monday Fun-Day Recipe Challenge

It's time for another Friday Spy Day at The Greeting Farm Challenge Blog today!!!
This week, we are case-ing Danielle Daws' sweet Cupcake Anya card found HERE!!!

I really need to catch up on my Birthday cards! So I thought why not go with a similar layout and use some cupcakes on my card and came up with this...

Oh my! You wouldn't believe how much I still have of this TGF designer paper!!! Love it so much! and to think that I parted with half of my stack and still have so much more, lol! That's what true hording is all about, right?! ha!!!
I also used Birthday Anya and colored her with my Copics; and I forgot where this transparent doily thingy came from - some sort of kit I received last year, ooops, don't remember, lol! Old age!!! eeek!

On that note, hee hee!!!...
It's time for me to announce who my TGF Clear Stamp Sets winner is...

BOTTLE CAP Ornaments!!!

Hello again! I'm back to share with you some ornaments that I created this week!
Claudia and Company has these Maya Road Bottle Caps!
They come in three different sizes: 2, 3, and 4 inches!
There are so many creative ideas to do with these - magnets, ornaments, picture frames, note pads, calendars, etc!!!

I decided to make mine into ornaments!
In my house, you can never ever have too many ornaments on our huge tree ;)

Here is a 'before' pic of me putting things together!
These bottle caps are SO durable and sturdy - such good quality! and how do I know that??? LOL, come on! You all know how clumsy I can be with things - I must have dropped these about a billion times! and not one ding or dent happened! Yay!

Of course, I just had to add pics of my boys!
And yes, these are summer pics, but I just loved their poses and sweetness, I had to use them :)

Do you see that I finally used my Stickles and Liquid Pearls here too?
My pearls look like Hershey-squirts! and my stickles completely flattened out! LOL!
I guess I need to practice more ;)  but I love how it all turned out!!!

For my next two I just had to use some of my favorite Holiday stamps!
The Shepherd Boy is another one of The Greeting Farm's retired stamp sets! I am SO happy that I bought this one when it came out, he is truly one of the cutest ones I have :)
The next stamp is also from The Greeting Farm that was just recently released, Holiday Anya...
and look! More Stickles and Liquid Pearls, hee hee!!!

Bottle Caps!!!
What would you create with them???

AND!!! For a limited time ONLY!!!
Maya Road is offering a FREE Holiday printout with every Bottle Cap purchase!!!

How cool is that?!
You can see more details on the Claudia and Company Blog today!!!

Thanks for stopping by again!
I truly do appreciate all of you that follow and comment regularly :)
xoxo

PS.... I am tryyyying to do My December Daily for 2011, too!!!
I am a newbie and am totally unsure as to what I am doing with it, lol!
I only took ONE pic yesterday, bummer! and here it is!

My sister helped me out by creating a super cool book for me to finish up and add my pics and journaling too! I hope to keep up! Especially since I never get to finish anything for myself or for my own family, eeek! This will definitely be a nice present for my boys and hubs on New Years Day :)

How are you doing your December Daily's?!?!
Any ideas/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you!!!

A Merry Lil' Elf!

It's Monday! It's Monday!

and a belated Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrated this weekend :)
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family! and then my lil guy came down with the virus that I had earlier last week :(  It took him almost 3 days to get over it! but I'm happy to say that he pepped up yesterday and went to school with his big bro :)  Here's hoping that there are no more germ attacks for the rest of the Winter season ;) hee hee!!!

and for this week, we challenge you to use THREE of something on your card/project!
I decided to make an easel card - it's been so long since I've done one, and I just love how I can display them on my bookshelf... my "three" are the pearls that I used, even though I did use three more on the inside too, lol!

Here's my card using "Elf Anya"...

... and some more scraps of some old Echo Park Christmas DP :)
Love this stuff!!!

Thanks for stopping by and looking today!!!

Happy Monday :)

This is my first time coloring in Ballet Anya... here's my card :)

Look! I even used one of my embossing folders, LOL!  and I gave sweet Anya a few light freckles :)

This card is really thick!
I used a ton of pop-up dots, something that I rarely do, but I wanted to try to make it  look like she was dancing off the card :)

Girly and Pink, my fave :)

Thanks for looking again, my friends!
You really do know how to lift a girls heart :)

The Last Day of School!!!

School is officially over for us!!! Woo hoo!!!
My lil guy is all done with Pre K and is FIVE today!!!
My big boy is all done with 1st grade and is SO excited for the fall :)
Of course, they're more excited for all the summertime fun first!
For their first week off at home, they have requested to do absolutely nothing but eat cookies, watch movies and play video games, LOL!

Here are the cards that I created for their Teachers :)
I used some more of the Provocraft DP and I still have a lil more than a 6x6 square left!!! LOL!

Here's my first card using Riley and Company's "School Boy Riley"...

For my next card, I used The Greeting Farm's "Teacher Anya"...

Thank you, Teacher

It's a few minutes into Wednesday already!!!
Wow, this week is going by waaay tooo fast!!!
Later today, I'm suppose to be teaching a "How To" to 1st graders today!
They will be creating cards and, if time allows, a bookmark :)
I'm really excited, but 1st graders can be a tough crowd, so we'll see how it goes!
I hope I'm allowed to take a few pics!!!
Wish me luck! Especially since I'm still not at 100% yet! 7yo wants to make sure I won't use up the teacher's box of tissues! Oi! I think I'm well enough not to do that, but I guess I'll bring my own just in case ;)

Luckily, I needed a thank you card for my other kiddos Teach ;)

Sweet Anya Love

Hey, hey! It's a Tuesday around here!
Eh! Still not feeling so good;
it's like a sinus infection and headcold combined into one,
it's a specialy of mine... so not fun...

Last week, I got to clean up my closet and I found a shoebox-sized box with some old stamps that I had gotten 1 to 2 years ago and never used!!! OMGosh!!! It was a wonderful "Christmas-y" kind of moment ;)
I got to use one of those stamps in my last post, and here's another stamp...

I have used this sentiment from this Greeting Farm stamp set a bunch of times,
but had forgotten about the actual set and the sweet Anya and Ian that came with it!
I used Club Anya's latest Saturday Sketch and paper pieced her lil dress...
I {cough}borrowed{cough} this beautiful lace from my sister, Sarabeth and
thought that these awesome button-stitched-flowers from Sassafra Lass
would tie it all together nicely :)

Me likey! I hope that you do too :)

I am entering my card into these challenges :)

Thanks for stopping by again!!!

You Crack Me Up!!!

Yea!!! for fun cards :)
Sometimes it's so refreshing to create something just for fun ;)

I cannot get enough of Audrey from The Greeting Farm! I know I say this a lot, but she is definitely one of my most fave images ever!!! I have proof! She's become my most used image (other than WS Edward! hee, hee!) I wish she was a rubber stamp too ;)

I used this week's Sketch Saturday Week #120 for my card...

Holy moly! Did you see all those layers!? I couldn't help myself!

This DP is another 6x6 sampler pack that I purchased from Die Cuts R Us, it is called "Animal Crackers" by My Mind's Eye - this is their "boy" version! ha! Puh-leeeze!!! As you can see, I think that it's perfect for a girl too! Just wait - I used it on another girly card for a new release tomorrow too! ha! Love it!

I created the stars to match the DP with my Slice! and the sentiments are from a Kraftin Kimmie set that I purchased a long while ago...

So, ummm, I have to admit -
Each sentiment is covering up all of my boo-boos!!! lol!
Oi, don't ask what they are! but I think that it turned out pretty well ;)

Card Details:
Paper(s): My Mind's Eye "Alphabet Soup - Boy" DP, TE Ingredients Kit CS
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm "Audrey" Digital Image, Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Sentiments

And as you can see, I couldn't help but finish up the inside too :)
