Spooky and Sweet!!! {Taylored Expressions October Blast from the Past Blog Hop!}

Happy Wednesday!!!
I loooove Wednesdays :)  It's right in the middle of the week, Hubs is always off and there is usually something fun going on somewhere !!!

For today's fun, I'm hopping along with the
There is a double-theme going on for this month:
"Trick or Sweet"
Create a Halloween themed card
or a sweet treat to celebrate an occasion

I decided to play around with both theme's and pulled out my
"Sweet Celebration" stamp set again and used a scrap of Bella Blvd Too Cute to Spook DP and came up with this card...

I thought that this lil cuppie would look cute as a ghost cuppie!!!
and why not give him a yummy candy corn birthday cake to eat :)
I had so much fun breaking away from the typical birthday color combos
for a Halloween birthday themed card!!!

Good morning everyone :)

Blast from the Past Blog Hop!!!
This month's theme is... Collectors Anonymous!

Stop hording and start using ;) hee, hee...

"Hi, my name is Margie,
I collect scraps of pretty paper and neglect my older stamps, sniff..."

I have been trying SO very hard to get through my scraps!
But I do have a small pile that I just cannot part with, lol!
I finally caved in and pulled out my stash of October Afternoon,
dusted off my "Sweet Celebration" Stamp Set,
the first stamp set that I ever purchased from Taylored Expressions :)
and I also had to dust off my "Banner Day 1 Stamp Set and Die"
which has never been used, just sitting in my stampy box waiting...
Geesh! I looove all of this and it was definitely time
to stop staring/drooling and finally use it :)
Felt good too ;)

Taylored Expressions July 'Blast from the Past' Blog Hop!

"The Dog Days of Summer..."

It's that time of the month again!
Taylored Expressions  Blog Hop!
and this month's theme is "Sending You Sunshine"!

It's been SO hot these past few days, and the weather guy just said it's going to get HOTTER! Eeek! I guess we'll just be sitting around trying to stay cool :) Hence 'the dog days of summer'... hee hee!

I decided to use the "In the Park" Stamp Set...

... and my new pad of My Mind's Eye Lime Twist "Out of the Blue" and Maya Road Wooden Buttons... I tried to create a little scenery for the pup! It was such a quick and fun card to put together!
And look! I even masked the pup onto the bench! SO proud of myself for trying something new :)

I wanted to take a sec too to show off my next card ;)
My Parents are going to Puerto Rico this weekend and they will be attending my cousins wedding and they needed a card :) Here's what I came up with using the Moka Collection's "Jack" and "Charlotte"...

Such a sweet couple!
The sentiments are on the inside ;)

Thanks for hopping by!
Enjoy the rest of your day :)

Taylored Expressions May "Blast from the Past" Blog Hop

This month's theme is to... "Make it Masculine!"

Where's my blue??? LOL!

Yes, I live in a house FULL of BOYS!!! and creating something boy-ish always has to pre-approved by them! NO bows, sparkles, ribbon or... a whole lotta other stuff! geesh!
My cards for today have been pre-approved by the almost 5yo, 7yo and 35yo, hee hee!!!

For my first card, I used my "Belated Birthday - Stand Out" A La Carte Stamp;
I just had to have me some Cosmo Cricket Social Club DP!...
and I used it as my 'embellishment' for this card... I have tough critics ;)

For my next card, I decided to go even simpler and use my "Much Appreciated" Stamp Set...
I some red ink since it's hubs fave color, and stamp directly onto the Kraft CS;
I used a scrap of Cosmo Cricket Social Club DP for the sentiment and a bit of twine with a wood button...

Clean and simple seems to be the thing for 'men' :)
Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy the hop :) :) :)

Taylored Expressions April Blast from the Past Blog Hop!!!

It's time for another Taylored Expressions Blog Hop!!!
and this month's theme is Clean and Simple...

I pulled out my new "Hello Spring" Stamp Set and DP scraps from my last 2 Key Ingredients Kits and got to work on 3 cards :)

I just haaad to use this adorable Bunny riding in his carrot-mobile for my first card!
I just smile every time I look at him :)

I embossed my Nestie circle and tied on some ribbon...
I figured out that if I tie my bows upside down they won't turn out so bad ;)
I stamped "Happy Easter" on the inside of this card too.

For my next card, I used these two chick stamps...
they just 'crack me up'! LOL!

Everything on this card, even the ribbon and the card base! was leftover scraps!
I also stamped on the inside :) Fun!

We were also given an option to use a sketch that was designed by Sankari Wegman.
I love the simplicity of it too!

I used the sketch for my 3rd card...

I hope you likey!
Below is the blog hop list!

Enjoy hopping :)
