I Simply Adore Riley!

It's the weekend!!! Woo Hoo!!!
and I am having SOOO much time getting cleaned/organized crafty today :)
ALL of our Christmas decorations have been put away! and now with the huge tree in storage, I am trying to reclaim my crafty spot!!! Kiddos want the extra space in the living room for their new trunks, race tracks, etc, but this mama needs her big crafty table back so she can start using her sewing machine  and needs more space! It's hard to create in just 18inches of space, lol!
Hmmm, I'm thinking that we may have to re-do the whole living area, just rearrange all the furniture... easy-peasy, right?! hee hee... and the kids bedroom... oh, how it never ends, lol!

I created a fun little Riley card this morning :)
and I used these challenges for it:
- The Ribbon Carousel Challenge #34: Anything goes!
- Crazy 4 Challenges #118: Use Something New
- Card Makin' Mamas Challenge: Use Something New
(My "something new" is the ribbon and flower button.)

I used Stamping Riley to make another Valentine's Day card :)

Have I mentioned how much I love to paper piece?!
Never-mind that it not only saves my Copics from wear/tear - it's also the perfect way to use up all of my little scraps! and I am a huuuge fan of that :)

Well, I better get back to getting crafty cleaning/organizing!
Wish me luck ;)
and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!! xo

"Open Me!!!" AND MY BLOG CANDY WINNERS!!!

Merry Christmas Eve!!!
I hope that you all are settling down for a wonderful holiday with loved ones :)
We are just about ready for the festivities to begin!!! I still have some cleaning to do and some gifts to wrap - but all is good and we cannot wait to spend some wonderful quality time around the tree :)

I am very late posting my card for the latest Friday Spy Day at
The Greeting Farm Challenge Blog yesterday! oops!
and I also want to share who my two blog candy winners are :)

First, my card :)
I decided to have a bit of fun with my new TE December Key Ingredients Kit
and pair it up with sweet Amelia from my 'new to me' TGF Surprise Stamp Set!

I also used the following challenges for my card:
- iCopic Weekly Challenge #61: Last minute Holiday projects
- Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #38: Anything Goes {with Twine}
- Wee Memories Challenge #80: Anything Goes
- The Sisterhood of Crafters: Celebrate the Holidays

I love her unruly hair! Kinda reminds me of my own hair - thick, wavy, messy! lol!
I tried to stick with the same layout as Beate's card, and a similar color combo - with different shades... and as you can see - I went a bit overboard with my Paper Pen again, hee hee! I am loving this stuff! More and more pearls everywhere!!!
It's not your typical Christmas card (hubs kept telling me to add green, lol!) but I love it! and I know that this little girly-girl will definitely love it too :)

Thanks for looking! and I hope you decide to play along with us this week!
Please be sure to check out the rest of the DTs creations too :)

PS - what do you think of my new blog makeover??? :)

Let's Cool Down!

In most places around the U.S. we are looking for ways to cool off!!!
So let's think of Winter, Snow and Christmas ;)

This week, Pixie Dust Studio's challenge them is
"Let's Cool Down"
Create a card/project with a Winter/Christmas theme!

For my Christmas card, I decided to use "Happy Birthday Jesus" digital image...
I also used the following challenges to help me out :)

Another card using up some more of my scraps! Loooove it ;)
A card that is perfect for either boy or girl!
and yes, it's turned into a bad habit!!!
I always have to tweak or move something around on a sketch, sigh...

I have another card to share!!!

For this card, I wanted to use a new image, "Muddy Buddy"...
I also used the following challenges for this card:
Cupcake Craft Challenge #145: Things with Tails

Okay, I know, lol! It's not exactly a Christmas Card..
but I did use Christmas DP!!! Ha!!!
It's Fancy Pants Happy Holidays!
I just thought that the distressed look would look good with the piggy image ;)
What do you think???
and I looove this layout! I know that it's a square card and that I used the circles on the in the wrong spot, but hey, the inspiration is all there ;)
and it's definitely a sketch that I will use for inspiratino again!

Thanks so much for stopping by, peeking and leaving a comment!!!
Happy Thursday :)
