Just in time for a super fun Monday Fun Day Challenge at
The Greeting Farm today!!!
It's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge,
the best kind of challenge to play around with, right?! hee, hee
and I also decided to use the current TGF SCS Sketch Challenge too!!!

Here's my card using one of the Miss Anya's from the

... and I also used my latest Key Ingredients Kit from Taylored Expressions!
I just looove these My Mind's Eye 6x6 pads!!!
This one is called "Rosey" - and I did some fun paper piecing with it :)

Oh! and here's what the sketch looks like:

You Make My Heart...

TGIF!!!
Oh my, you all don't know how happy I am that today is Friday and that the weekend is just minutes away to starting :)
It's been a very looong week! and my mojo decided to go on vacay without me :(
I am have finally climbed out of my major cleaning/organizing/rearranging mess, woo hoo!
and with a little help of some yummy I received yesterday, I am hoping that mr. mojo is ready to move back home!!!

To get back into the groove of things,
I created a card for today's TGF Farm Fresh Friday Spy Day Challenge!!!

I used THREE different stamp sets for this card, lol!
and very surprisingly, I ripped into my newest kit from Taylored Expressions too!
No hording this months kit at all! Love it too much ;)

First, I used my Copics to color up Creeper Crew Madden to match the colors to Crate Paper's "Paper Heart" DP... then, I knew I needed to add some sort of sentiment - so I used my new Flutter Heart Clear Stamp Set for that... and then I couldn't figure out what to do with my corners, lol! The card didn't seem complete even after I added the heart buttons that also came with the TE Kit... and then I found these little hearts on the Made By Clear Stamp Set...

Oh, BTW, you won't see just 'hearts' in the set, sorry! lol!
I used this stamp to get the hearts, and just wiped away the 'handmade by' sentiment part ;)
Pretty sneaky, huh?! ;) hee hee!

I had SO much fun putting this card together!
It really feels so good to finally be back 'in the game' and blogging again :)

Please be sure to visit the rest of the DT to see what they've been up to too!!!

Enjoy your TGIF too!!!
and thanks for stopping by :)

"Open Me!!!" AND MY BLOG CANDY WINNERS!!!

Merry Christmas Eve!!!
I hope that you all are settling down for a wonderful holiday with loved ones :)
We are just about ready for the festivities to begin!!! I still have some cleaning to do and some gifts to wrap - but all is good and we cannot wait to spend some wonderful quality time around the tree :)

I am very late posting my card for the latest Friday Spy Day at
The Greeting Farm Challenge Blog yesterday! oops!
and I also want to share who my two blog candy winners are :)

First, my card :)
I decided to have a bit of fun with my new TE December Key Ingredients Kit
and pair it up with sweet Amelia from my 'new to me' TGF Surprise Stamp Set!

I also used the following challenges for my card:
- iCopic Weekly Challenge #61: Last minute Holiday projects
- Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #38: Anything Goes {with Twine}
- Wee Memories Challenge #80: Anything Goes
- The Sisterhood of Crafters: Celebrate the Holidays

I love her unruly hair! Kinda reminds me of my own hair - thick, wavy, messy! lol!
I tried to stick with the same layout as Beate's card, and a similar color combo - with different shades... and as you can see - I went a bit overboard with my Paper Pen again, hee hee! I am loving this stuff! More and more pearls everywhere!!!
It's not your typical Christmas card (hubs kept telling me to add green, lol!) but I love it! and I know that this little girly-girl will definitely love it too :)

Thanks for looking! and I hope you decide to play along with us this week!
Please be sure to check out the rest of the DTs creations too :)

PS - what do you think of my new blog makeover??? :)

Taylor will be giving away the latest 3 new full-sized stamp sets
to 3 random winners!!!
How awesome is that?!?!

Ok, so did you see my post title???
For some odd reason, when I pulled out my stamp, Moka Justin, and saw the 'dude' stamp that is included in this set, the movie "Dude, Where's my car?" popped into my head, LOL!
Not my type of movie, but I have to admit, it did crack me up a bit ;)

So here is Justin all dressed up in October Afternoon's Campfire ...

Here's Moka Justin's entire stamp set,
love the sentiments that come with him :)

OH, and here's the sketch!
I had to turn it on its side to get my image to fit ;)

The power is ON!!! Must KETCHUP!!!

Seriously peeps! Three and a half days without power was something that we really did not expect! lol! Power started to come back on in our neighborhood really early this morning, around 1am... but we were left for last, we were starting to think that maybe they forgot about us, lol! But if finally came on around 10ish this morning! Such a releif! We were truly blessed that this was our only problem! Really made us appreciate the little things in life! How precious every minute is! and how spoil we all really are! hee hee!

Now that we have done most of our errands today, grabbed some much needed groceries and a bite to eat! I've got a few crafty things to share with you :) SO grab a snack AND a drink, it's going to be a long post, I have a card and 2 - heArt Journaling entries!!! I really missed being online! But, priorities first! My boys will officially start school a week from today, 2nd grade orientation on Friday and Kindergarten orientation on Tuesday, busy, busy! Gotta get those sneakers too... digressing, sorry... here are my creations :)

This week, The Pink Elephant's Challenge is to do some paper piecing!!!
I heart paper piecing! and decided to use my Greeting Farm My Guy Stamp Set for it and My Mind's Eye DP...

Such a handsome fella! I started this right before our lights went out, had to do the gluing parts with a flashlight, you can see that there is glue smudged everywhere, lol! shhh, don't tell ;)

I am entering my card into the following challenges that are still going on, lol!
I had created this card for 4 other challenges, but I wasn't able to post it in time ;)
- The Pink Elephant #114: Paper Piecing
- Crazy 4 Challenges #102: Male themed card
- Raise the Bar Challenge #72: Primary Colors (Red, Blue, Yellow)

Here's a close-up...

I will never forget this card! :)

Next up, I have my heArt Journaling with The Greeting Farm...

Week 5: Pieces of Me
Assignment: Create a spread/page using layering and paper piecing techniques.
Use any stamps you want, colors, etc.

There is a TON of layering going on here! LOL!
This was what I created 2 weeks ago, I just never had a chance to post it here on my blog...
First, I started to draw something, didn't like it, so I Gesso-ed over it...
I always like to add my DP with Modge Podge first! The DP and Stickers came from my latest TE Key Ingredients Kit! Once I saw these papers from Echo Park, I knew that I just needed to create a page about me and my bumble-y blog :)

Some close-ups...

What do you think!? :)

Week 6: Text Me!
Assignment: Create a spread/page using mainly text and lettering!
This includes numbers, symbols, handwritten or typed, phrases, etc.
Use any stamps you want, colors, etc.

I started creating this piece on canvas at my sister house with some friends this last Monday :)
Originally, this lil awesome group was to meet up at my house, but with the power outage, we changed it over to my sisters... then, she lost power too! ugh! Everyone came to hang out anyways, and within 20 mins the power came back on! Yay!!!
I was able to get the majority of it done at her house...
and as you can see above, I brought it home to add some stickers, doodling and rub-ons via flashlight! lol!

Here she is! My "Pretty in Pink Me" on canvas!
First, I Gesso-ed the canvas, then applied my KandCompany DP with Modge Podge
and added the border of crackle paint by Tim Holtz...

I then started on my 'girl'... I used polka-dotted papers for her head, arms, legs and shirt.
I decided to use crepe paper for her skirt, super fun! but hard to stamp on, lol!

The paper itself had a ton of text in the corners,
I also used numerous stamps and Cosmo Cricket stickers and rub-ons all around...

I didn't doodle much this time, wasn't feeling it.
I really love all the rub-ons! I never had a thing for those and don't have anymore!
Must find some more asap! If you have any suggestions as to where I can purchase a bunch of floral, border  and butterfly rub-ons, please do let me know :) Thanks!!!

And here's a view at my messy desk, lol!
It was hard to find things in the dark, oi!

Thanks for sticking this post out with me!
I hope you're all do well! I cannot wait to catch up with everyone within the next few days!
I'm 'off like a prom dress'!!! Gots lots to bake and prepare for our shopping trip tomorrow :)
hugs xoxo

Baby Bun Bun

Yay for Thursday! My fave day of the week :)
It's also my Daddy's birthday today!!!
Happy Birthday to you, Papa :)
AND
it's also another Pixie Dust Studio Challenge with sneaks peeks TOO!!!

This week's challenge is an amazing SKETCH CHALLENGE
created by our Pixie Queen, Kathy :)
Here is my card using another cutie from the new Oh Baby Collection

Doesn't he look squishy and huggable?!?!
Love this lil guy :)
I used my new TE Key Ingredients Kit and some things that were laying around on my desk! It's easier than taking the time to clean it up, LOL! I altered the flower, it came with a different button attached to it and wanted to add some extra twine... I also used some twine for the balloon's string - I was totally stressed out when I cut the string off, lol! and was so happy when I was able to glue the twine on with no problems at all :)

Here's the awesome sketch!
Everyone's free to play along :)

Be sure to stop by and play peek-a-boo with the rest of the Pixies!!!

To The Happy Couple!

G'morning :)  It's been a wonderful and relaxing week!
We've had lovely walks, gone to the park, did some shopping, got our crafty groove on quite a few times and went to the movies to see Cars2!!! We had an AWESOME time!!!

Earlier this week, while my kiddos were having fun with their art easel, chalks, paints, etc... I was able to sit down and use my new Taylored Expressions June Key Ingredients Kit that contained the some fab BasicGrey "Sweet Threads" DP (oh how I have missed playing with BasicGrey papers!!!) and Moka Stamps, Charlotte and Jack! The cutest bride/groom couple ever :)

You've probably noticed that my current addiction is scallops!!!
and I am amazed at myself with all of the layers I've been using lately too! It's amazing how someone's 'card style' can change over time AND my scrap stash has been dwindling! Yippee! That means that I will be treating myself to some new goodies by the end of the summer, like some new die cutting plates, lol! They've been getting a huge workout with all of these scallops and nesties flying about  ;)

Hope you likey!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful TGIF!

Confessions of a Shopaholic!!!

Hellooo :)  Just a quick late night post to share :)
Yesterday, there was a bit of scrappy-happy time with some scrappy friends at my sister's apartment and I was able to play with my new Moka stamp from Taylored Expressions!

... definitely my kind of girlie!!!
I actually don't consider myself a shopaholic, lol!
Don't shopaholics buy EVERYTHING??? hmmm... hee hee!
I'm just a purse-aholic, scrap/card-aholic and maybe even a bookaholic ;)
That's not everything ;) Right???

I had some fun paper-piecing her dress shirt and using my Taylored Expressions May Key Ingredient Kit too! Everything, except for the Lace and Dew Drops, came in the kit! I also got some clear dew drops to play with! I haven't tested if these will be color-able yet, but I'm looking forward to trying it out soon!

Wow, look at all those layers! Yes, I did have fun with this one ;)

Thanks so much for your sweet commments and visits!
Much appreciated and loved!
Enjoy your Monday :) :) :)
