Mr. Bunny says you are wonderful :)

Happy Valentine's Day Eve!!!
It's M-day {yea, me and M-day still don't get along, lol!} and I have now declared M-day to be an extension of the weekend! M-day used to be my 'cleaning/organizing' day for the week - I have now switched it to Sundays and M-days are now my days to just get the kiddos to/from school and relax with a good book or crafty-time :) hee hee!!!

To start the week right! Let's play along with The Greeting Farm's
This week, I challenge you to use Red and Pink on your cards/projects :)

Here's my card using my Lucky Bunnies Clear Stamp Set...
Oh! and I'm entering my card into The Spotted Chick's

These bunnies are just so darn cute!!!
and this sentiment is truly a favorite!
I paper pieced Mr. Bunny with Kraft CS and WeRMemory Keepers DP...
total sweetness!!!

Be sure to stop by and see what the rest of the DT has been up to!

Enjoy your week!
See you later on this week ;)

A pair of Thank You cards...

Hello again!!! I hope you're enjoying your Monday :)
I just wanted to stop in real quick to share a couple of Thank You cards I created this weekend - and then I'm off to both of my boys Parent/Teacher Conferences! I looove hearing what the teachers have to say about them, and I will also be receiving their first report cards for this year :)  Will probably have to stop somewhere and get them a treat on the way home, I have a feeling that they're both doing exceptionally well ;) hee hee!!!

Back to my cards ;)
I had a bit of time this weekend and wanted to stock up on some Thank You cards...
It's been a looong time since I've used some of my older stamps, and I came across my very small box of Pure Innocence stamps from MFT - I just had to let them come out and play for a bit!

I then when in search of a few challenges to play along with :)
It's been a while since I've done that too!
I used the following challenges on my cards:
- MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #147
- Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Tag You're It!
- That's Kraft Thursday Challenge #56
- Raise The Bar Challenge #85: Thank You/Grateful
- Card Makin Mamas Challenge #34: Sentiment
- Crafty Sprouts Challenge: Tag It

I had my pad of My Mind's Eye Darling Dear sitting in from of me, and decided to use up all the scraps that I had saved up in there :) This little girlie is called "Being Cute Is What I Do".
I just looove her pigtails - so girlie and sweet :)

For my next card, I used "Apple For You"...

This little PI cutie was one of the first Pure Innocence stamps I ever got - and she is still my all time favorite out of the whole collection :)
I used up some more of my scraps! and had a bit of fun with the button, lol!
This button has a large hole in the middle and just a lil piece of plastic in the back, I couldn't figure out what to do with it, and then 'duh!' it hit me - it's like one of those old fashion belt buckles where you just need to slip the ribbon through and there you go ;) hee hee! geesh! I must be getting old ;)

OH! and I'm just realizing now that I paper pieced them both with the same DP! LOL!

I hope you likey my cards!

Tonight is the "almost 8yo's" first night of basketball training!
He's a bit on the fence on trying out a new sport! Cross your fingers that all goes well ;)

Thanks for looking today!!! xoxoxo

So Very MONDAY of her :)

Good Monday to YOU!!!
It is definitely a typical Monday around here!
It all started last night when I couldn't get my pic to upload anywhere, geesh!
I was up waaay tooo laaat {yawn!}
and kiddos are home sick today :( Off to the Dr's office this afternoon!

Oh, before I get on with the rest of my post ;)
I changed the settings to my blog to make everything a bit larger -
I thought that everything around here was a bit too small, but now,
I think I made it toooo BIG! LOL!
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated ;)

Now, to make my Monday brighter and better!!!
and for this week, Lisa has challenged us to use...
NO designer/pattern papers!!! (eek!) AND use ONE ribbon!!!

NO designer paper?!
Do you know how hard it is to accomplish that???
Especially when your die-cutting machine is broken and you cannot play with your cardstock because you cannot use your dies or embossing folders :( sigh...

I have also used the following challenges on my card:
- That's Kraft Thursday #55: Use Kraft CS

So being that it is Monday, guess who had to come out and play???

... from the Creeper Crew!
I wish I had her Monday attitude!!!
Love her style! and added a piece of doilie to girlie her card up a bit :)
and I was lucky to find a scrap of red scallops in my pile too!
I usually don't die-cut ahead of time, I do it each time I create something, so that was a plus! The whole card pretty much revolved on that red strip, lol!

Hope you all have a better and wonderful Monday!!!

Please be sure to visit the rest of the DT for some non-DPing and ribbon inspiration!!!
AND stop on by our TGF SCS Challenge forum too!!!
Thanks for stopping by :)

StampInsanity Stamps Sketch Challenge #14

 Woo Hoo! TGIF :)
I am thrilled that the weekend is just a few hours away! We have a fun-filled weekend all set up and hoping that the weather behaves for it ;)

I'm also happy to say that after this post, I am all caught up! {patting self on back, lol!} Feels so good to finally be up to date and with our new schedule kicking in next week, it's perfect timing!
I cannot believe that my 'big boy' is graduating from Kindergarten next week! Time just continues to fly along... my 'baby boy' is turning 4 next week too! Don't you wish you could freeze time for at least a few days ;)

Okay, sorry, enough rambling...
Today I'd like to share with you my take on Beth's awesome sketch from

It's a bit different than my usual style, but I really feel in love with this sentiment from her "Simply Supernatural" Rubber Stamp Sentiment Set...

"A circle is round, it has NO END;
That is how long I'll be YOUR FRIEND."

Here's Beth's amazing "Dollar" sketch!!!

I'm also entering my card to Jeanie's "That's Krafty Thursday" Challenge #31!!!
Kraft cardstock is always my first "go to" for card bases! I love how it looks!

I used a 7x7 piece of Kraft; the wood circle and baubles are from K&Company, added some gorgeous ribbon from SEI and blinged it up a bit for the eye :)

What do you think???

Please be sure to take some time and visit StampInsanity Stamps Groovy Girls for more "Dollar Sketch" inspriation ;)

Banana-rific!!!

Banana-rific! I cleaned up my desk!!! I have a quick lil card to share... I created this card strictly from scraps leftover from the cards I made for the Caffinated Cropper Blog Hop today, hence, cleaning off my desk area ;) Lookie here - even the cards base is a scrap! This card measures almost 5 1/2 inches tall and almost 3 inches wide... I won this darling lil Sweet November's Fruit of the Month stamp called "Sweet Banana" designed by Amy of A Thousand Sheets of Paper, from All That Scraps April's release! This is the first time that I've had a moment to ink her up! Yea! I drool over Amy's creations and hope that I did her proud with this one ;)

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges :)

I'm sorry about my pic, first, my pics were to blurry, and now they look too bright, lol!
My card is very Amy inspired ;) I used a lil leftover Jenni Bowlin Lemonad DP, mounted lil Miss Banana, added tiny Primas and Pearls and the ribbon is from Papertrey Ink - love it! Need to get me some more ;) Especially since I just ran out of their Kraft cardstock too!

I have to admit, I think that other than any of the Twilight themed stamps that I own ;) this one has become one of my most fave of all! She is just sooo cute! and we are huge on bananas over here! - my kids eat at least one or two a day! She's just the perfect addition to my lil stash here ;)
I can't wait to see what the next Fruit of the Month lil darling will be!

Here is a close up of Sweet Banana - I used my Clear and Lemon Spica pens to make her sparkly wings, hat and tips of her dress...

Thanks for looking today :) I hope you likey!
Be sure to stop by Amy's blog and see her latest released stamps - Mermaids!

I'm a lil behind on my blog/stalking/surfing right now -
I'll be by soon enough!
