Boys Will Be Boys!!! and my Mini-Guests :)

'morning peeps :)
It's Thursday, so that means that the Pixies are running about with this week's
This week's theme is...
"Boys will be Boys!"
Create a boy themed card and add buttons or brads...

Now, if you know my boys and I, we are all about the Harry Potter stuffs ;)
Here's my card... and then hold on for my "mini-guests" cards too!!!

Oh boy, Oh boy, Oh boy!!!
I'm still trying to get over the last movie!!!
I need to watch it again, a bit more closure... sigh...

However, I feel that my boys are still too young to read/watch books/movies past the 5th one...
but it doesn't keep them from re-watching the others, lol!
Here are there cards! They too used Harry Potter and "our" stash of Creative Imaginations Harry Potter DP! hee, hee...

Here's Nicholas',
(who has officially hit the 1/2 mark between 7 and 8, and will not let you forget it!)

... and here's 5yo, Matthew's card...

He loooves to spread things around and even created on the inside!
I asked where would he write his note if he were to give his card to someone:
"Mommy, why would I give my Harry card away???"
Good answer, good answer ;)

Thanks SO much for looking and for all the sweet comments!
My boys love to hear all about it :)

Happy Thursday
xoxo

Woof II

TGIF everyone!!! and what a beautiful day it was!
Gorgeous sunny sun and gusty cool winds! We planted 8 plants today and had a yummy dinner :)
I didn't get a chance to make up a card for today's Pixie Dust Studio release yet :(
BUT, I do have my almost 5yo's pic to share! I forgot to add it to my post the other day and he was not so happy about it, lol! So I promised he could have his own post... they should probably have their own blog, OI! but who is going to maintain it??? ;) lol!

Here is Pixie Dust Studio's latest collection:

"Hoot's Hut"
"Muddy Buddy"
"Prissy's Palace"
"Woof's Window"
"Popsicle's Pad"

... and here is my Matt's 8x5 layout:

He used "Woof's Window"!!!
He absolutely loooves all puppies and dogs! Even the big "elelefanty" ones!!!
As you can see, he has raided my stash too! No more hording for me so they can use it up! LOL!

Thanks so much for stopping by :)
Tomorrow is a fun-filled day for my boys and I; of course it involves scrappy/card time ;)
We'll meet DH for dinner and spend the night watching Gnomeo and Juliet again :)
I hope you have a good one too!!! :*)

My {Mini-Guest} Harry Potter!!!

*Please scroll down to see my Oh, Alice Challenge post, thank you :)

Sooooo, who has seen the new Harry Potter movie?!?!
I have to wait until next weekend to see it :(
but we're celebrating anyway ;)

I wanted to create something for the new release, but with the week I've had, I just couldn't find the time nor the energy... but my Nicky made something for me :) and I'd like to share it with you...

There's Harry Potter, Hermione, Ron, and Dumbledore (he is not aware that poor Dumbledore died in the last movie) and yes, Nicky "borrowed" all of my Pixie Dust Studio images, lol!...
on the left side, he drew Harry's dragon from the "Goblet of Fire" and on the right, the castle is in the background and he even created a Dementor - which according to Nicky, they're not so scary once you get used to them, LOL!
Nicky will be 7 in a few weeks, I know he's a bit young to watch the movies, he's only seen pieces of a few of them, but he has seen all the trailers - it's been hard keeping him away from the scary parts since he thinks he's a big boy and can handle it all ;) Maybe he can, but I can't help being a bit over-protective of my babies ;)

Thanks for letting us share!!!
Have a wonderful and creative weekend :*)

Good evening!
We're so happy to bring you this week's

Hmmm, that is a challenge for me, lol!
But it wasn't for Prairie Fairy's April Jr. Guest Designer...
NICKY!!!

You won't believe how very excited he was and still is
to be "projecting" for someone other than me :)
Thank You, Roberta!!!
... and he is sooo happy, that he had to make 2 cards for his first challenge!
I'm so proud of him!

But fist, I must keep you in suspense (upon request, lol!) and show you my card ;)
... and I'll be entering my card into the following challenges:
- Charisma Cardz Challenge #13 - Animal Magic
Spring Card with Fabric (Felt Flowers)

This is Prairie Fairy's "Summer Fun" Digital Image...
I distressed the bottom layer and swiss dotted the panels for texture -

Nicky pointed out to me, that the felt flowers are "feelies" too ;)

Now it's Nicky's turn ;)

Nicky created his cards and we pre-posted his portion last Tuesday afternoon...
and that he's 6 1/2 and I am going to type exactly what he tells me too,
hee hee... enjoy!

... and he's also agreed to enter both his cards to

"Hi everyone! I made 2 cards for today's Project Challenge for Miss Prairie Fairy :)"
Here's my first card using Fairy Princess' "Timmy Turtle":

"I used the project machine to make the roundness around the turtle
and extra bumpy stars on the star paper
and then I sand the bumpy stars with sand paper too...
You can make pretend that you can feel the turtle's hard shell too,
if you want too... "

"And I made another card, because it's Easter time :)"

"I colored only a little bit of the "BoBilly Bunny" and he's sitting on grass that I punched...
I used the project machine again to make leaves on the red paper and shapes...
and I made the bow all by myself using sticky glue dots.
You can feel the 2 papers bumps and the grass...
This is for my Mama, so I had to put a lot of colors on it
because she likes lots of bright colors..."

I colored inside the lines too!
They're cute! and more fun than Mommy's...
Thank You!!!"

Yes my dear friends,
he did say that his cards were cuter and more fun
than mine ;)
LOL!

He's also hoping to get a lot more comments than me,
so if you have a sec,
skip me and leave him a lil comment, please :)
I would soooo appreciate it!
He's learning how to read, so I can't fib anymore, lol!
He will be reading and sounding out the words ;)
and...
He's my big boy and like all Mommy's with lil boys -
we don't know how long this is going to last,
I fear the day when Mom is no longer the cool one
and he just wants to hang with Dad, Lil Bro and Friends...
sigh... not going to think about it ;)

Thanks so much!
We also look forward to seeing who will join in the challenges too!
Happy Friday! Hugs!!!

A Sorta Sneak Peek and 100th Day...

Good Sunday friends :)

Last Tuesday, Nicky's school celebrated their 100th day of school with a 100 themed project to create a "100 Museum"

Here is his project!
He loves space and decided to go with a space theme...
10 Stars
10 Comets
10 Astronauts
10 Suns
10 Moons
10 Earths
10 Saturns
10 Rockets
10 Spaceships
10 Aliens
= 100!!!
Nicky informed us that his project placement was the prime spot in the room!
He was the only one that was aloud to use an easel,
everyone else had to tape their's to the wall or prop it up on a table...
he was sooo happy to have the corner spot by the bathroom ;)
hee, hee

I'm soooo proud of him :)
He did such a wonderful job! I didn't help much - I only guided were the circles should go to make sure that all 10 circles fit on the paper - he managed the rest by himself!

Here are some close ups... Astronauts...

Digital images/stamps ROCK!!!
We ran out of spaceships,
so Prairie Fairy's Digital Images came in to the rescue and filled in our empty spots :)

Here you can also see more images from Prairie Fairy - the Aliens :)
I love how he created the Suns, Moons and Earths!
Just added glitter glue to create the rays, craters and either land or water...
I've got a smartie-pants here ;)

Here's my sorta sneak peek ;)
I haven't had a chance to download my pics yet... so tomorrow you'll have two cards to drool over ;)
LOL!!!

So don't forget to come back tomorrow for Pixie Dust Studio's New Release!!!

"Down the Rabbit Hole"

Thanks for stopping by on your off day ;)
Enjoy the rest!!! It's going to be another fab week!!!

Happy Valentine's Day to You :)

... and a Happy Chinese New Year :)

It's a beautiful day! and in a few minutes we're off to go see my sis' new place and bring everyone a lil bit of a late lunch :)

Just wanted to pop in and show you what my lil munchkins made for their Daddy :)
They chose an image from Pixie Dust Studio called "Buddies"!
... and their cards measure 9" tall and 6" wide - bigger is always better, right!?!

Here's Nicky's Valentine...

And the inside :)

... and here's Matt's...

And the inside too... he likes to put his images on the inside as a big surprise :)
... and here's what mine would've been, LOL! I colored in the image (freebie from The Greeting Farm), but never got around to putting it on a card! It's the thought that counts, RIGHT?! hee, hee

Hope y'all have a fabulous day with your loved ones!
I will be back tomorrow with some very, very exciting news :)~

Hugs!!!

He's baaack... My Mini-Guest Designer :)

Good evening :) Sorry it took so long today for me to get this posted, but my mini-guest designer has been sick with a virus and double-ear infection and it took until late this afternoon for him to take pics of his cards, created this past Monday, with word-for-word directions as to what to say and how to post them, LOL!

So here he is! My lil guest designer for the day... Nicky!!!

"Hi again, my name is Nicky and I am now 6 years old... I have some projects I want to show you now :)"

"My first project I had to make for my class project for school last week. We read stories about a snowman, so we had to make one too... I used lots of stuff from Mommy's stuff - I promise, she let me use it :)"

(look closely, he loves my Papertrey Ink Buttons and Making Memories flowers and trims!!! LOL!)

"My Tio {uncle} Sean hurt his leg and the doctor had to fix it last week, I miss him and hope he gets better soon. I made Tio Sean a card to tell him... I think that glitter glue is really cool! Crayola makes cool colors for kids like me, you should buy it, it makes your projects cooler!"

(Nicky is very sentimental, he doesn't like to talk about when anyone is sick or hurt...)

(Oh! and you can find those lil aliens and ships at Prairie Fairy!)

"This is my cherry icecream... why don't they make pink, fluffy cherry icecream?
I think I would like it plain..."

(Hence, the plain card, hee, hee!)

"This is my Harry Potter card! He makes magic and likes to fly on brooms!"

(Image above and below can be found at Pink Cat Studio Digital.)

"And this is my dinosaur card project! He wants to go to school and learn and grow up to be a T-Rex soon!"

"Thanks for looking at my projects today! I had fun making it all!... and I'm feeling better, just coughing and stuff. BYE!"

LOL! There you have it my friends! My little Nicky is growing up so fast! and I love him for letting me grow up with him :)
I just got the okay to go ahead and post - he made sure that it all looked good first ;)
I love my lil munchkins!!!

And yes, lil brother Matt was around and creating at the same time, but he doesn't want to take pics or show you, lol! He doesn't want people to see it yet! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm sure you can guess that any and all comments would very much be appreciated!!!

HUGS!!!
