Sew Many Challenges Father's Day Challenge!

*Please be sure to scroll down to the next post for today's
Caffinated Cropper Customer Blog Hop!
Thank You :)

Oh my, my deepest apologies for being so late with my post!
It is time for another Sew Many Challenges challenge, and sweet Jeri was kind of enough to ask me to guest again! Thank you, Jeri :)

Father's day is quickly approaching, so for this weeks challenge Sew Many would like to see.....
FATHER'S DAY PROJECTS
WITHOUT USING THE COLOR BLUE!!!

That's right! NO BLUE!!! We know you can come up with something.
Don't forget your greens, browns, reds...

This week's challenge is being sponsored by...

I used "Owen Dressed in Dad's Clothes" - isn't he the cutest lil boy!? I adore the huge shoes he's wearing!
I really thought that it would be easy not to use blue on a boy card, ha! I was sooo wrong! Being told NOT to do something always makes you want to do it even more!!! LOL!

I found this cool K&Company paper and paired it up with some star buttons and sticker eyelets that my lil sis gave to me :)

Don't look on the inside, you can see that the flip side of this dp does have a pinstripe of blue on it, lol!

Thanks for looking! Please be sure to go HERE and visit the rest of the talented Sew Many DT and enter you card :)

Have a wonderful and crafty weekend!!!

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge#32

G'afternoon! Happy Twilight Tuesday to you!!!
Can you believe that this is Challenge #32?!?! WoWzErS!!!

This week's challenge was chosen by the very talented and sweet Eve of This Is Bliss...
The Great Northwest

In Eve's own words ;)
"... if you have ever lived there you know what I mean. Maybe if you have only visited there you know what I mean. Maybe if you only heard about the filming of the movie you know what I mean. It is beautiful there. There is a reason for it’s beauty….all the rain!
So from the space needle to the forests. From the rain to the trees. From the lush green beauty of it all to the Olympic Peninsula. There are so many reasons to LOVE the great Northwest.
Edward’s family chooses to live there. Bella feels she has to live there, and hated visiting as a child. Don’t forget the trips to Seattle, the coast, and into the forest. Have fun with this one!
Please join in and play along with us!"

Comment Portion: If you could visit anywhere in the Northwest - where would it be and why?
I must admit that this challenge stumped me ;) I've never been anywhere near the Northwest - Living on Long Island, I've never gone past Saratoga, Upstate NY! New Jersey is as far West that I've ever been ;) LOL!
But, I have always wanted to take one of those Cross-Country trips, hitting almost ever state along the way!
My original project for this challenge is completely unfinished - it's a camping journal/guide, something to help keep track of all those places we would stop at to visit... I hope to post it by the end of the week ;)
In the meantime... I hope y'all like my lil Forks card :)
Card Details: 5x5 size
Paper(s): Stampin Up Kraft CS; The Paper Company Corrugated Moss CS.
Stamp(s): Unity Stamps "Tiny Trinity" Set

Little C's Weekly Challenge - Color Combo #2

And the Tuesday fun continues ;)
Here we are! It's time for Little C's Weekly Challenge!!!

I'd like to take a sec to thank Jen and all of the Diva's for letting me be a part of their team this month! I've really enjoyed working with this very talented group of ladies :)
Thank you!!!
This week we were challenged with a great color-combo by Rina!

I have to admit - I'm really bad with color-combos, lol! They always stump me! I was lucky to have all of the colors handy, I was afraid that I was going to have to pull out my 'secret stash', LOL!!!

I've really been loving adding flowers to my creations!
Please click on the Little C's banner above to go directly to their online shop :)
Hmmm... Like my side-ways bow? hee, hee! I tried, but it just didn't want to go any other way!!! I decided to give lil' Anya a headband... and that lil flower she's holding - it's covering a lil boo-boo I did when I was coloring her, lol! I love how the Spica markers give her a lil shimmer on her skirt and shoes!
I've been trying to do the insides of my cards again... saves time looking for matching papers later on ;)

Anya Flower Card Details:
Stamp(s): Dorothy Anya DS, "Enjoy" sentiment from Unity's February KOTM
Paper: Bazzill CS, Cosmo Cricket "Twist & Shout - HoneyPie: Ella" DP
Ink: Copic Markers, Spica glitter markers
Accessories: All Natural Accents Dark Green Hibiscus, SU Ribbon, Fiskar border punch, Dress It Up Light Purple Petal Flowers, Primas, Dew Drops.

Thanks for looking!!!

Don't forget to go and check out the other Diva's creations ;)

MacKenzie of Midnight Scramper

BTW!!!
I was going through my pic files last night and look what I found...
This was my FIRST Little C's Weekly Challenge entry dated 8/13/08!!! That was 6 months ago! LOL! I remember struggling to make this lil Monkey card :) I sooo desperately wanted to join in on Jen's challenges!

All I had to work with at the time were 2 stamps sets, a handful of DP, one package of different colored CS, adhesive, a cutter, one brown ink pad, 24 brads and Crayola Crayon pencils ;)

I think I've grown up a bit since then... seems sooo long ago!

Just for kicks and giggles, you can see the details to my Monkey card here!

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!!!
