Twilight... on a Saturday night?!?!

I hope that everyone is having a good weekend :)

I am still trying to get rid of this ridiculous cold that claims to have permanently moved into my head! Sheesh!
No, it's not Tuesday ;) I know that my Twilight stuff is usually showcased on Tuesdays, lol!, but it's my blog and I can do what I want to :D hee, hee!
I have had this lil BasicGrey Lunch Pail sitting on my shelf for months now - empty and naked... collecting dust... and I saw a pic of a similar lunch pail in a scrapbook that my sister gave to me... some ideas clicked around in my head... and here is what I came up with :)

My very own Twilight Card Tin... I finally have a spot to store my Twilight cards!!!
I've been hording this paper forever!!! It's even prettier in person! It's by Cloud9Design (Sparkle Wedding Romance DP) - a division of Fiskars! Yea, I didn't know that either ;)
My little sis gave me some beautiful new Primas (Belle Fleurs)... the sparkly lettering is from Making Memories (Shimmer Alpha Stickers)... dew drops are the perfect touch to everything ;)
Could this be Bella before her transformation??? lol!, 'cause I know afterwards her eyesight is perfect... Magnolia Study Tilda stamp - I colored her in with my copics and spica glitter markers... gold, white and silver ribbons also from Prima.
Here I used Prima Black Diamond Fabric Fancies with All Natural Accent Red Roses and Red Hibiscus flowers that I got from Little C's - I personally think it's a beautiful combo ;) lol!
Now I have a spot to hang my key chain to ;) I added some ribbons (misc.) and fibers (EK Success)...
... side view
... back view... wire black/white/gold ribbon from Michael's dollar bin.
Almost done...
I found these really cool Making Memories frames and just had to have them...
I finally made some Thank You cards with them...
Beautiful... right? lol! I know what y'all are thinking ;)
Frame Card Details:
Stamp(s): ~
Paper: Bazzill CS, Pink Mini Dots Faux Suede DP
Ink: ~
Accessories: All Natural Accents Red Roses and Red Hibiscus flowers, Making Memories Sabrina Vintage frames, Making Memories Chloe's Closet frames, Silver CS from UK, Prima Black Diamond flowers, Darice self-stick gems, Fiskar Lace corner punch.
Thanks for stopping by :)
We are expecting a snowstorm tomorrow night! eek! Just when I thought that spring was around the corner...
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

Little C's Weekly Challenge - Color Combo #2

And the Tuesday fun continues ;)
Here we are! It's time for Little C's Weekly Challenge!!!

I'd like to take a sec to thank Jen and all of the Diva's for letting me be a part of their team this month! I've really enjoyed working with this very talented group of ladies :)
Thank you!!!
This week we were challenged with a great color-combo by Rina!

I have to admit - I'm really bad with color-combos, lol! They always stump me! I was lucky to have all of the colors handy, I was afraid that I was going to have to pull out my 'secret stash', LOL!!!

I've really been loving adding flowers to my creations!
Please click on the Little C's banner above to go directly to their online shop :)
Hmmm... Like my side-ways bow? hee, hee! I tried, but it just didn't want to go any other way!!! I decided to give lil' Anya a headband... and that lil flower she's holding - it's covering a lil boo-boo I did when I was coloring her, lol! I love how the Spica markers give her a lil shimmer on her skirt and shoes!
I've been trying to do the insides of my cards again... saves time looking for matching papers later on ;)

Anya Flower Card Details:
Stamp(s): Dorothy Anya DS, "Enjoy" sentiment from Unity's February KOTM
Paper: Bazzill CS, Cosmo Cricket "Twist & Shout - HoneyPie: Ella" DP

BTW!!!
I was going through my pic files last night and look what I found...
This was my FIRST Little C's Weekly Challenge entry dated 8/13/08!!! That was 6 months ago! LOL! I remember struggling to make this lil Monkey card :) I sooo desperately wanted to join in on Jen's challenges!

All I had to work with at the time were 2 stamps sets, a handful of DP, one package of different colored CS, adhesive, a cutter, one brown ink pad, 24 brads and Crayola Crayon pencils ;)

I think I've grown up a bit since then... seems sooo long ago!

Just for kicks and giggles, you can see the details to my Monkey card here!

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!!!

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge#17

Twilight Tuesday is here!!!
Time for Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #17!!!
This weeks theme was chosen by Beth!!!
Quoting Beth: "I like Jake. No secret there. And it is clear where the lines are drawn in the sand, so to speak, in Twilightville! Having said that, I invite everyone to objectively think about the character - Bella's trusted friend..."
It's Jacob's turn to shine in the spotlight ;)

(I'm going to try very hard not to mention the one who dazzle's me the most, lol!)

Comment Portion: Explain your version of the relationship between Jacob and Bella, or his relationship with the Quileutes... Do you know someone who is special to you like the way Jacob is to Bella? What is the dynamic that (gasp!) draws you in or deters you from Jacob. Leave all comments on the Twilight Tuesday post.

*** Warning: This is not to be a Team Jacob vs. Team Edward debate! ***

Crafter's Portion: Capture the essence of Jacob and Bella's bond in a project/medium of your choosing. Please link all creations to the Twilight Tuesday post.

Beth really wants to see some puppy love this week! Soooo, I am going to try my best to join in with the pack!!! ;)

Look what I found laying around in the Cullen attic:
I'm guessing that a certain jealous 'sparkly' someone must have sparked... but he couldn't bring himself to throw Bella's 12x12 layout in the trash ;)
All good memories for Bella :) Jacob was Bella's lil buddy - always trying to cheer her up with his sense of humor...
I'll have to admit... when I first read the first 3 books - I really didn't like Jacob's character. To me he seemed to immature and aggressive and that they should just cut his character out of the story... BUT when I reached Breaking Dawn, and read his point of view, I finally realized - he is immature, he's only 15! and his aggression is just a typical boy being a typical boy, lol! Having understood where he was coming from - I had a better appreciation for his character reading the books the second time around. And the story would not be the same without him. Bella needed him, he was her rock, her buddy, her support during her darkest hours and also a great distraction to reality when she needed it.
Thanks Jacob! You are a wonderful friend to have ;)
Fave Jacob Quotes (listed on layout):
“You can have me the way I am — bad behavior included — or not at all.”
Jacob Black, Eclipse, Chapter 15, p.329

“Ugh. Reeking vampires.”
Jacob Black, Breaking Dawn, Chapter 9, p.169

“Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.”
Jacob Black, Breaking Dawn, Chapter 12, p.237

“You know how you drown a blonde, Rosalie? Glue a mirror to the bottom of a pool.”
Jacob Black, Breaking Dawn, Chapter 14, p.271

“Stupid leeches. Think they’re so superior.”
Jacob Black, Breaking Dawn, Chapter 34, p.661

Thanks for stopping by! Now it's time to go visit my fellow DT members :)
