Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge#22 *Edited*

Happy Twilight Tuesday!!!
This weeks Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #22 theme is...
Bella's Birthday
I'm so sorry that I am sooo very late with my post today, I have the worse ear infection that you can ever imagine... it started Sunday night, the pain shoots down my jaw and neck - unbelievable! I hope the antibiotics kick in soon!!!
Isabella "Bella" Swan dob 8/13/87
"New Moon begins with Alice in full party mode for Bella's 18th birthday -
Japanese lanterns hung from the porch eaves, big bowls of pink roses lined the stairs that led to the front doors.
All of the Cullens were waiting in the huge white living room... “Happy Birthday, Bella!”... Alice had covered every flat surface with pink candles and dozens of crystal bowls filled with hundreds of roses. There was a table with a white cloth next to Edward’s grand piano, holding a pink birthday cake, more roses, a stack of glass plates and a small pile of silver-wrapped presents...
Most people dread turning 30 or 40, but Bella dreaded turning 18 - mostly since it meant that she was now “older” than Edward."

Comment Portion: Have you ever given or been the recipient of a surprise party? ...or do you dread your birthday bash every year?

Challenge Portions: Create a birthday themed item. Feel free to draw inspiration from Bella's party ;)

Please leave all comments and links on the Twilight Tuesday post... and if uploading to SCS - please use keyword TTIC22.

I have never given nor received a surprise Birthday party... but I did have a surprise baby shower from my Ma and Sis when I was having #2 (Matt)... I was so happy and really appreciated the 2nd shower - we sooo needed what everyone gave us... it was such a blessing :)

Honestly, ever since I turned 30 - I really dread having anymore birthdays... I tried not to dwell too much this past year since the boys love celebrating, lol, I didn't want to disappoint them. But, if I had a choice, I'd stay at 30 - enough experience to be respected as an adult, but still young enough to enjoy life! So, I'm sticking with 30! ;)

My birthday card to Bella...
Bella's Birthday Card Details:

Paper: Prism CS; Anna Griffin Black Flowers Acetate
Stamps: SU Short & Sweet 'Best Wishes' Sentiment Stamp

Here's one of the glass center pieces that Alice made for the table...

... a very simple piece...
... but it was really hard to make, lol!Vase Details:

How awful for you Margie ((hugs)). I had an earache once when I was 9, not an infection, and OMGosh I thought I was going to die. Take care.

I'm a Twilight fan also and I can't wait to see the new release. I have only read the first two books though...and I went to see Twilight twice. I would have gone more often, but no one would go with me. *sigh*
Oh well, have a great day!

OME, these DO NOT look like the work of someone who has been feeling lousy -- they are gorgeous! Really creative, inspired ideas! The card and the vase are both gorgeous and will fit right in to the setting of the Cullens' house. I really, REALLY hope that you are feeling better now -- or very soon!
