Miss Evie Flowers

Yea! Finally back into the groove of things!
And before I get started on the rest of my week ;) I wanted to quickly show you this lil cutie that I found a few weeks ago... Miss Evie Flowers from Squiggle Stamps! Isn't she adorable?! I couldn't resist all of her "flower hair" and just had a ton of fun coloring her up in different colors! Took a bit of time, but it felt great to get my coloring groove on again ;)

I pulled out some cool Cosmo Cricket DP and the "Wish" ticket is from Tim Holtz since it's a "Birthday" Challenge at the Squiggle and Giggles Blog :) Used some swirls from Recollections and those gem flowers are from K&Company... my Slice has been coming in handy lately, made the giant flower and triangles with it ;)

Quick, easy and totally fun :)
Thanks for looking!

"Ketchup-ing" with life and DT stuff...

It's been a looong, but very quick week! Does that make sense?! LOL!
First it started off with my parents having to leave town on Father's Day, at 102 years of age, my Grandmother passed away - she was such a strong and inspiring woman! She will be missed deeply...

Monday was a quiet day... Tuesday morning started off a bit late, Nicky woke up with a headache and sore throat, but by 10am, insisted that he was feeling okay enough for school... I came home and cleaned up, even cleaned up my scrappy desk and got started on my DT stuff for the rest of the week... next thing I know, it's time to get Nicky off the bus! Found out that my lil guy had thrown up on the bus 3 times and had a fever :( My sister helped him off the bus, washed him up and got him all comfy on the couch for me!
Thank you Titi Sara!!!

So here is what my desk looked like Tuesday afternoon...

And that is exactly how my desk still looks like right now! sigh... I've been so tired, I haven't been able to stay up like the way I used to :(

Nicky stayed home from school yesterday since his fever didn't go away until early morning... He didn't mind since it was Matt's official 4th B'day :)
We usually keep the leftover b'day decorations and use them to redecorate their official b'days again the following year. They get new stuff for their actual parties... So we had a combo party of Mickey Mouse and Backyardigans :) Here are my fave boys in the entire universe (minus Papa and Tio Sean)...

Matt loves b'day cakes! LOL! Can't ya tell?! ;)
Matt's "Big" party will be Toy Story theme!!! yea!!! I can't wait to see how the cake turned out :)
Nicky was well enough for school today, it was a half day! and tomorrow's his last day! I can't wait to see his Kindergarten report card and certificates :) I'm so proud of him!!!

Oh yea - I got a hair cut in between all this, lol! I cut off almost 6 inches!!! I'll have to update my profile pic when I have a pic taker that is bigger than 3feet tall ;) hee, hee!!!

Time for some DT updates ;)

First, this week's Pixie Dust Challenge #28

Next...

Wow, which cake will you choose?! Fun!!!

FHF Recipe Challenge #3 - Happy B'day!!!

Are you having a wonderful Humpy Day?! :)

Finally, a moment to post my card for...

This month's recipe is a Happy Birthday theme:
- Create a shape using eyelets or brads
- Use a number(s)
- Tie a bow somewhere on your creation
- And use a tag

Here is my card...
Sorry! I spaced on creating a shape with an eyelet or brad! But there is one brad, lol!
The tag can be used as a bookmark! It's attached to the card with a small piece of velcro ;)

I used my precious Copics to color this lil Ian from The Greeting Farm and paired him up with some delish BasicGrey DP; all embellies are from CTMH.

I also used this month's Sketch!

Sorry so short today - it's my lil guys 4th Birthday today :)
And, unfortunately, his Big Bro is sicky :(
But we'll make the best of it!!!

Thanks for stopping by again :*)
See you tomorrow!!!

{Edited} Taylored Expressions & SFYTT

Happy Tuesday!!! Well, sort of... This is not my original post...
Well, how embarassing, my post didn't go through on time {stupid blogger pre-posting, bla bla bla}, but by the time I figured it out, I was removed from today's lineup at Taylored Expressions Blog Hop... Oh well... I tried... Here's my card anyway :)
Please be sure to stop by the Taylor Expressions Blog for blog hop info, it's a fun "Blast From the Past" good time!

I received my first ever Key Ingredients Kit this last Saturday and decided to dust off my "Scotties in Love" stamp and also attempt the latest Sketch For You To Try sketch, another first :)

This card is a bit different for me, the bright colors, and layout!
I really had a blast putting this together :)
Everything you see here is from the kit! Love those flowers!
Except for the stamp... and the scallop behind the image was created with my Slice!

I hope you likey!

Thanks so much for stopping by :)
HUGS!!!

Happy Monday Mania, with ME!!!

Happy Monday!!!
A fabulous start to a wonderful week :)

Guess who gets to host this week's
Club Anya Monday Mania???
ME!!! Woo Hoooo :)

I was and still am so happy to have recieved Amy's invite to host Monday Mania this week :) I'm so honored and thrilled to be a part of it! and you all know how much I adore The Greeting Farm stamps and digital images!!! Especially those lil Wild Sprouts... the lil boys... Edward ;)

THANK YOU!!!

So, here's how I came up with this week's challenge... This Wednesday is my baby boy, Matthew's, 4th birthday :) I decided to let him help me create a recipe reflecting his sweet and simple personality and his fave colors, green and brown.

Here's our recipe:
- Must use Kraft CS
- Must use the color Green
- Only ONE patterned/designer paper
- Only ONE type of embellishment, plus or minus Ribbon
- And of course, your Anya, Ian or Friend Image :)

Oh my goodness!!!
I cannot wait to see what everyone will be cooking up!!!

For my first card, I created a birthday card for Matthew using lil Edward :)
This adorable lil Wild Sprout, inspired by Twilight (squee!), looks like he was created to look just like my Matthew - the messy hair, the large sweet innocent eyes and those cheeks! Too cute!!!

The paper is from Imaginisce, the sentiment is from TGF's Oliver and Olivia "Happy Day" Stamp Set and I added some Making Memories Button Brads... I thought it would be fun to play around with the layout and try to create an arrow to match the DP :)

For my next card, a girly twist to the recipe!
I dusted off "Teacher Anya" (don't you wish you had all the time in the world to play with ALL of your stamps!) to create a Thank You card for Nicholas' Kindergarten Teacher :)
Finally, his last day of school is Friday! We're all so excited for summer vacay!

I used Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl DP, punched the side and added some misc. ribbon that I found at our LSS... the sentiment is from TGF's "My Guy Ian" Stamp Set.

I hope that everyone finds a moment to create and join in!
If you do, you will be entered to win a single in-stock stamp of your choice :)
Who can reisist that chance?! ;)

Enjoy your scrappy time this week! :*)

Happy Daddy's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day
to all the Daddy's out there!!!

We have many "dads" in our lives that we have been blessed with and are so thankful for...
- a HUGE hug to my hubs, my boys Da-dee!!! Who works so hard to provide for us and allow me to stay home with our precious bundles of joy :)
- a HUGE hug to my Papi, my boys Papa!!! Who will do ANYTHING to help out and make sure that my boys are always happy! The lollipop provider, the one who comes over everyday to get Nicky off the bus and Matt a walk around the pond :)
- and a HUGE hug to my bro-in-law, my boys Tio Sean, the bestest Uncle in the universe!!! Who always plays video games and takes the time to teach the boys how to bat and throw a the ball the right way ;)

I don't have a card for today, I was too busy with other projects for the last 2 weeks :(  But my boys decided to step in for me and here are their cards :)

Here is a card that Nicholas created for his Daddy using my new Willowbee DP Pad!!! How could I say no? LOL! Look how cute it turned out!... ;)

Here is Matthew's card for Daddy!
He loves using green and brown, his fave colors!

My boys also created cards for their Papa, my Dad {Papi} :)

We were happy to be able to give Papa a small smile today before he flew out to be with family... his Mami, my Abuelita passed away last night... we were blessed to have her in our lives for 102 years! We love her dearly, she will be missed...

Nicky and Matt created their cards using card kits that Krista of Crafty Little Pigtails sent to them along with my Baby Bud Design winnings a few months ago :) Thank you, Krista!
They really enjoyed coloring the image in and laying out all the pieces - and especially the twine! It was fun for them to practice making knots with buttons, lol! :)

Here is Nicky's card...
(Sorry, I apologize for the odd looking pics!)

Here is Matt's card to Papa :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful day with the 'men' in their lives :)
See you tomorrow! HUGS!!!

Oh, Alice! Chapter 18: Crazy for Daisy Chains...

"Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, and where is the use of a book, thought Alice, without pictures or conversations? So she was considering in her own mind, (as well as she could, for the hot day made her feel very sleepy and stupid,) whether the pleasure of making a daisy-chain was worth the trouble of getting up and picking the daisies, when a white rabbit with pink eyes ran close by her."

Happy Saturday :)

We have lots of fun to share today here at Oh, Alice!
We have a fun new sketch with a twist from our very own Tasha!
Here is her amazing sketch:

The Twist?
Use a DAISY or some sort of similar flower and incorporate it on your card! Nothin' like a little FLOWER POWER to kick start your mojo, Alice always says!

What's more? We have a WONDERFUL Sponsor today...

Our friend and fellow Tea Party Member, "TWISTY KRISTY", has organized a wonderful prize today from Tickled Pink Stamps! One lucky winner from this week's entries will receive one Lil Lolita Rubber Stamp!!! In addition, our own Twisted Thirteen got to play with these super-fun stamps :)

My sister found ONE piece of this awesome Alice-inspired double-sided pattern paper by Reminisce at the craft show she attended a few weeks ago in Jersey, and of course thought of me :) I decided to use the Cheshire Cat side (the other side is of the White Rabbit!) with the lil Daisies to go along with Tickeled Pink Stamps - Lil Lolita "Evie"!

I finished my card off with Prima Pearls, ribbon from Hydrangea Hippo, a paper doilie and a sentiment from My Favorite Things "Costumes From Wonderland" Stamp Set.

Want to play along and get Crazy for Daisies and get sketchy too?
Just upload your card or creation HERE!!!
(Use OAC18 if you're using a public gallery such as SCS.)

StampInsanity Stamps Sketch Challenge #14

 Woo Hoo! TGIF :)
I am thrilled that the weekend is just a few hours away! We have a fun-filled weekend all set up and hoping that the weather behaves for it ;)

I'm also happy to say that after this post, I am all caught up! {patting self on back, lol!} Feels so good to finally be up to date and with our new schedule kicking in next week, it's perfect timing!
I cannot believe that my 'big boy' is graduating from Kindergarten next week! Time just continues to fly along... my 'baby boy' is turning 4 next week too! Don't you wish you could freeze time for at least a few days ;)

Okay, sorry, enough rambling...
Today I'd like to share with you my take on Beth's awesome sketch from

It's a bit different than my usual style, but I really feel in love with this sentiment from her "Simply Supernatural" Rubber Stamp Sentiment Set...

"A circle is round, it has NO END;
That is how long I'll be YOUR FRIEND."

Here's Beth's amazing "Dollar" sketch!!!

I'm also entering my card to Jeanie's "That's Krafty Thursday" Challenge #31!!!
Kraft cardstock is always my first "go to" for card bases! I love how it looks!

I used a 7x7 piece of Kraft; the wood circle and baubles are from K&Company, added some gorgeous ribbon from SEI and blinged it up a bit for the eye :)

What do you think???

Please be sure to take some time and visit StampInsanity Stamps Groovy Girls for more "Dollar Sketch" inspriation ;)

Clowns and Vampires, Oh My!!!

It's time for Pixie Dust Studio's latest release called "The Fair" and new Twilight-y Challenge today!
Sorry, I'm a bit late, I've had a busy 2 weeks with promo projects, but now that's it's all finished, I have more time to dedicate to my immediate DTs and a lil fun too ;)

Now, I'd like to take a sec to introduce you to the sweetest, cutest clown you will ever see!

Didn't I tell you he was cute?! ;)
My sister, Sara, has a phobia of clowns! LOL! I have no idea as to why, she just finds them very creepy... she wouldn't even peek at lil Bubbles here :(

I decided to use some leftover Prima scraps, cut out the circles and try to make it as fun and as colorful as possible ;)
ETA: LOL! I just noticed that I didn't finish coloring in the lil propeller on his hat!!! It's colored now, hee hee!

Here it is! The newest release called "The Fair"...

This week's challenge is another fun Twilight theme :)
Squee-ing!!! We have less than 2 weeks until Eclipse!!!

The Pixie's challenge you to create something using this color combo:

Red
White
Black
and/or Silver

Eclipse is my fave book out of the whole Saga... I decided to let "Pixie Victoria" have her a bit of the spotlight now ;)

I really love how her red eyes turned out! and I had to fancy her up a bit with a silver paper doilie and Prima flowers. The DP is some of the Twilight/Vampire papers that my sister gave to me from a craft show that she went to in New Jersey :)

The designer paper has a photo-like feel and surface to it; I was trying to keep my pics clear from the glare...

"Super Sam" has an update!
Please go HERE for his update and more details :)

Please be sure to visit the Pixie's this week and see all of the inspiring things they have created for this week's release and challenge...

Happy Thursday!!!

It's been a looong while... So long, that I have to refresh my own memory ;) hee, hee!

There are a lot of adorable images to share ;) I'll be introducing a handful at a time, we dont'want to be overwhelmed and go over our budgets, right?! ;) LOL!

So here's three to tide you over until next time, hee hee!

I'm keeping it all within a theme today :) Music!!!

Meet "Travis"...
The best drummer ever!!!
Travis is a 2.5x2.0 rubber stamp. I used Creative Imaginations DP, Papertrey Ink CS and Making Memories Star Brads to give him a rocker look ;)

Here's sweet and sparkly "Karaoke Ava"...
This Ava is a 3.5x2.9 sized rubber stamp. I used DCWV's "Songbird" DP with Papertrey Ink Cardstock and Riboon and my new fave embellishments - paper doilies and pearls!

A close up to show how much Ava sparkles in the spotlight ;)

AND...
"Guitar Guy"...
The coolest guitar player on the planet!
Guy is also rockin' some Creative Imaginations DP and matching brads! He is a 3.25x3.25 rubber stamp.

Every guitar player gets their spotlight solo ;)
