Isn't he a cutie!?!?
I love his curly wild hair!!!
Reminds me a bit of my lil sis when she use to run around the back yard all wild and free :) She had curly wild hair that even when tied back into the tightest ponytail my Mom can torture her with, those frizzy lil curls always snuck out into such a mane around her face ;) hee, hee! Memories!

Squeee-ing over TGF's Critter Crew!!! and a Preview!!!

HI everyone!!!
Today is an exciting day in SO many ways!!!
FIRST - I was asked to join The Greeting Farm's Critter Crew!!!
SQUEEE-ing!!!
I was so floored, shocked and super-duper happy when I received Jessica's email a few months ago!!! I'm so honored and excited to be joining this group of very talented ladies :) It's been SO hard trying to contain myself for SO long ;) A huge thank you to Jessica and Marie for making my dream come true!

Also, a huge congrats to my fellow Oh, Alice pal - SAMMI BETBEDER,
who will also be joining the fun and fuzzy critter world for the next few months :)

Now! Onto today's previews and announcements :)
Today at The Greeting Farm, the Critter-or shall we say - BOO CREW has some "spooktacular" new designs to show you!!

Today I have "Marlene" to share with you today :)

(Marlene - Cauldron)

Such a sweet lil witch!!! This Cosmo Cricket DP and the swirly gems reminded me of how a witch's brew boils and creates vapors and fog... am I right?! lol! Well, it seems like everytime I watch a Harry Potter movie some kid is always making their cauldron steam and bubble over when cooking up their potions ;) But sweet Marlene knows her stuff and knows her potions well enough not to make them explode in her face ;) I think she deserves an 'Exceeds Expectations' Award!!!

(Marlene - Cauldron)

Be sure to stop by the TGF Blog and then the Critter Crew's Blogs as well, because we are giving away not one, but TWO sets of the ENTIRE October digi collection by Marina.
All you have to do is leave a comment and we'll announce the winners tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by today!!!

Oh, Alice! Chapter 32: Journey to the Center of the Earth...

Good evening, I'm sorry to be late with my card! My mojo skipped out on me for this one, and I struggled a bit, lol! It happens everytime I force myself to try something new ;)
Here is this week's Oh, Alice! Challenge!!!...

"Down, down, down. Would the fall never come to an end!
"I wonder how many miles I've fallen by this time?' she said aloud. `I must be getting somewhere near the centre of the earth. Let me see: that would be four thousand miles down, I think--'"
(for, you see, Alice had learnt several things of this sort in her lessons in the schoolroom, and though this was not a very good opportunity for showing off her knowledge, as there was no one to listen to her, still it was good practice to say it over)
"yes, that's about the right distance--but then I wonder what Latitude or Longitude I've got to?' (Alice had no idea what Latitude was, or Longitude either, but thought they were nice grand words to say.)..."

Hello from DOWN the RABBIT HOLE today, everyone!
My teammate Jen has given us a wonderful challenge for this week!!!
Now it's time to really fall down the rabbit HOLE this week with this challenge!
Oh, Alice, Chapter 32... Your task if you wish to accept it is to...
create a card with a WINDOW or HOLE in it!

I decided to try a different type of card, a gate fold card...
I struggled a bit with how to create a door and what to put on the door, lol!
I hope you likey ;)

Here's the outside (October Afternoon DP and TJ Designs "Down the Rabbit Hole" Rubber Stamp Set)...

... and here's the inside...
I used The Greeting Farm's "Wonderland" digital set and Cosmo Cricket's "Pixie-Licious" DP :)

Now it's time to take a look at what the design team has created in their fall down the rabbit hole!
Jessica {The Mad Hatter} - http://thewhimsicalbutterfly.blogspot.com

There is no time limit on playing this week so we hope you take the challenge and jump down the rabbit HOLE with us this week!

Enjoy your weekend!!!

Kickin' It "Old Skool"

Smile :) It's mid-week! We're getting there!!!

Ok, so tonight I went to my first official PTA meeting, and it wasn't what I was expecting, LOL! It was very informative and direct - educational... a great way to really know what's going on, not only with the kids, but with the faculty too! I'm glad that I went :)  And, yes, I volunteered and signed up for a few things, like the book fair and harvest. And hopefully I'll be helping out with putting together a 'school scrapbook' - should be fun :) So if anyone has any ideas or advice for such a huge project we will be so very much grateful to you! Thanks!

Ok, onto my card for today!!!
The Greeting Farm's latest challenge is to go "Old Skool" - use a stamp that's not listed on the list that they provided :) FUN!!!

So this challenge motivated me to finally ink up one of my unused stamps, Space Ian...

I would have never thought that I would be using Halloween DP to try to create an outerspace scene/theme for this lil Ian :)  I used Cosmo Cricket "Matilda" DP - Me likey ;)  I hope you do too!!!
Oh! and isn't that the coolest ribbon?! It came in a Grab Bag that I purchased for $1 at Taylored Expressions! Sometimes I hesitate in making purchases like this since you never know what you will end up with, but for just a buck, sometimes you will find a few golden surprises ;)

Thanks for stopping by! and have fun getting over hump-day ;)
Later gators!!!

Space Ian Card Details:
Paper(s): Cosmo Cricket "Matilda" DP; Papertrey Ink CS

Dylan is SOOO cool!!!

He really is!!! My son swears it!!! LOL!
He came home from school Friday afternoon and declared that he has a new BFF named Dylan!!! AND - "Dyaln is SOOO cool!"
LOL! Sometimes I wish we could go back to the simpler days of being a 1st grader ;)

The minute I saw this lil Lollipop-dude, I knew that I had to go hunting for my Creative Imaginations scraps, lol! Everything on Dylan's card is a leftover something from somewhere ;) How cool is that?!

I'm entering my card into these challenges too ;)
- Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #77 - Use a Grid Pattern
- The Corrosive Challenge #82 - Use "Unused" Stuff! (DP)
- Alphabet Challenges - U is for Unused Stash

Oh, Alice! Chapter 31: Fighting for the CROWN...

`Why the Lion and the Unicorn, of course,' said the King.
`Fighting for the crown?'
`Yes, to be sure,' said the King: `and the best of the joke is, that it's my crown all the while! Let's run and see them.' And they trotted off, Alice repeating to herself, as she ran, the words of the old song: --
`The Lion and the Unicorn were fighting for the crown:
The Lion beat the Unicorn all round the town.
Some gave them white bread, some gave them brown;
Some gave them plum-cake and drummed them out of town.'

Happy Saturday, everyone!

StampInsanity Stamps Challenge #27 - "One Layer Wonder!"

Happy Thursday and Good morning :)
This week started off a bit rough for us, but ever since lil guy started feeling better yesterday, letting our schedule fall right back in place :) All is good again! I really never thought I'd be one of those people that would love have a schedule! lol! but it does make everything smooth along so easily! I'm embracing this :) More time for fun stuffs!!!

Today is StampInsanity Stamps Challenge #27 -
"One Layer Wonder"

Thanks, Beth!!! She's always inspiring us to be more creative :)
One Layer?! hmmm, does that include the base...

... or not???

I like the way it looks with the base, hee hee! What's your opinion???
(and don't look to closely, I forgot to color in a lil spot, LOL!)
Since I was not aloud to use layers of DP, I decided to paper-piece Morgan (from the "Meet Morgan and Henry" Rubber Stamp Set) with some scraps of October Afternoon! I borrowed the idea of paper-piecing her hair from The Dark Mermaid's beautiful card found HERE!!!
Does that disqualify my one layer card??? hmmm....????

... and I am very impressed with the ink I used, SUs Close to Cocoa - I have had the pad for almost 2years and it hasn't dried out yet! That is amazing for someone like me who currently only owns 3 ink pads ;) lol!

Did you see this???

A Pixie Peek!!!

G'morning! It's time for another lil Pixie Peek :) and tomorrow is release day!!!
Here's one of Pixie Dust Studio's latest images...

"Lil' Red"

Now, let me tell you about this Lil' Red's story!

"Times have changed, my friends!
Instead of frolicking through the woods to Grandma's house,
she took the subway and skips through the city! hee, hee!!!
In that lil basket of hers, full of goodies,
she's also got her cell phone and pepper spray ;)
No big bad wolves in this story, nowadays,

My boys have definitely shared their cold with me, and the internet-world is not cooperating, lol! What happend Monday? You're usually so kind to me... sniff!

I made another bookmark-card! Wa-hoo!
Nicky loved his last bookmark/postcard so much that he asked me to make him another!
Here are the deets that he suggested ;)
- A skinny bookmark that opens like a card,
- Use the color red
- AND it has to have a boy on it!

LOL! I'm thinking that he might be good on a recipe DT ;)

So here it is!

The entire bookmark/card is made out of scraps using Cosmo Cricket "the Boyfriend" DP and Papertrey Ink CS!!! The sentiment is from TGF's My Guy Ian Stamp Set...
I really have been enjoying using up my leftovers ;)

Here's a look at the backside!
