Falling for The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday!

We made it through another glorious week ;) TGIF!!!
I'm still feeling icky, I have a sore throat and ear pain and probably could use some antibiotics, but they say that you shouldn't take meds every time you have an ear infection, etc. So I'm trying to be a trooper and just dealing with it ;) hee hee! We'll see how long I'll last!

It's time for another Scrapbook/Layout challenge with
The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday!!!
This month's theme is to create a Fall scrappy page :)

I couldn't make up my mind with which image out of 2 that I wanted to use, and then I found the perfect pics to go with them, so I just had to create 2 layouts! Woo Hoo! It's been 2 months since I've scrapped anything! Such a huge accomplishment for me :)

Here's my first layout, it's a 12x12...

This pic was taken 10/2008, it was a very hot Fall day, that's why they're wearing shorts and tees. I don't think pics this year will look like this one, lol! We've been wearing jeans and sweaters for almost 2 weeks now...
I used the sweet Archie and Marlene "Harvest" image with some of Cosmo Cricket's "Mr Campy" DP... I cut some of the leaves out from the DP and then added a few Primas and blooms to try to create the feel of 'falling leaves' which is my fave part of fall! I love the huge mess of leaves and colors all over the place - so beautiful and fun :)

Here's a closeup of the adorable couple!

For my next layout, I used some of my Cosmo Cricket's "Maltida" pad to create an 8x8 layout...

Aren't they both precious cuties?!
That's my lil guy, Matt, when he was 4 months old! The pumpkin hat I had purchased when I was preggo with Nick, but Nick grew too fast and never got to wear it! I'm happy that someone did, and boy, did he look adorable ;)

Lil "Toby Pumpkin" is so adorable!
I had SO much fun coloring him and his pumpkin costume!
I tried to give him a bit of a furry look, but it seems that I need a bit more practice ;)

Thanks for stopping by and for all your sweet comments :)

Please be sure to visit The Greeting Farm's Blog and see what the rest of the Critter Crew and Farmers created to inspire you to get your pics out and start scrapping!!! :*)

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #31 - Graduation

Happy Twilight Tuesday!!!
The very creative and talented Rebecca of Bella Carta chose one of her fave scenes from the Twilight movie for this week's Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #31 (TTIC31)...
... when Edward is showing his home to Bella for the first time.
As they go up the stairs,
they pass a huge frame full of graduation caps.
Bella asks “Graduation caps?”
...and Edward replies...
“Private joke. We matriculate a lot“.

Craft portion: Create a project suitable to give as a graduation gift!

Comment portion: Reminisce about your graduation ... or an upcoming graduation for someone in your life.
I made a simple 8x8 layout using DCWV's 'The High School Stack' foiled DP, Stampin Up 'Congrats' Stamp Set, Bazzill and misc. bling :) Bella and Edward can put a pic of themselves and add it to Bella's scrapbook ;)

For more Twilight Tuesday inspiration - go check out the rest of the DT!!!

Beth, Stamp Insanity
Dani, Count Your Beautiful Blessings
Eve, This is Bliss
Jen, Deconstructing Jen
Julie, Stars Fall Creations
Rebecca, Bella Carta
Tonya, Stamp Happens

PS! - Speaking of school stuff ;) I almost forgot to do my Comment Portion of the challenge!!!

I made an 8x8 layout for the most famous PreK kid in our household!

NICK C.!!!This is his PreK pre-graduate pic! My baby is growing up tooo, tooo fast!!! Next week he is going on his first school trip to a farm! Luckily, I get to go on the bus with them and chaperon ;)

I used DCWV's "The Grade School Stack" DP and Bazzill CS, JustRite and StudioG's lower-case Alpha stamps, Stampin Up Corner Punch and K&Company Rhinestones.

The lil bear holding onto the apple was a RAK from my friend Bev!

These adorable lil bears can be found on Carmen's Blog - cks*paper*scraps - Carmen has pre-made bears on ebay and can also custom make one to your desire! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge#30 and Cute Card Thursday Challenge#58

*Ack! I knew I was forgetting something!!! This post has been edited to include my entry for Cute Card Thursday Challenge #58 themed "Mirror, Mirror" - use something shiny!!!
LOL! I really need to ease up on the NyQuil! ;)
Happy Cinco de Mayo! Sorry I'm a bit late on posting my stuffs today! It's been rough around here and I'm trying to not fall behind ;)
Being sick sucks!
I keep forgetting half the things I want to do!!!
It's a good thing that I haven't misplaced my boys ;)
Our Dani of Count Your Beautiful Blessings chose one of the best Twilight scenes for us to work with this week!!! Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #30...

The Ballet Studio Scene
"I thought this room would be visually dramatic for my little film. That’s why I picked this place to meet you. It’s perfect, isn’t it?"
~ James, Twilight, Chapter 22, p.449

Craft Portion: Create a project that shows your favorite part(s) of the Ballet Studio Scene.

Comment Portion: How do you feel about this scene from Twilight... Was it scary enough? Suspenseful? Do you think Edward made the right decision to keep Bella from turning into a vamp???
*I was also inspired by Cute Card Thursday Challenge #58 - "Mirror, Mirror" - use something shiny!!! and that is exactly what came to my mind when I thought about this scene - Mirrors!!!
Ok, first of all... who can resist a bad guy when he looks like Cam/James??? It would've been really interesting if the Cullens' would have been able to change James' diet ;)
This scene is the best one in the whole movie! They captured the moment and suspense perfectly! I loved the mirror effects - very eerie and creepy...
I created an 8x8 layout based on the mirrors in the dance studio...
I used an Aluminum Metallic Sheet from Making Memories... I have the 2 band aids to prove it, LOL!
It was hard to take pics with the flash on... It was heart wrenching when Edward picked up Bella and told her he was sorry...
8x8 Layout Details:
Paper(s): DCWV Metallic Stack CS; Bazzill; Making Memories Aluminum Metallic Sheet.
Stamp(s): ~
Ink(s): Spica Glitter Markers; StazOn Black.
Accessories: 7gypsies Arabian Night Etchings/Rubbings from Scrapaholics; Prima Flowers; Dew Drops; Fiskar Lace Corner Punch; SU Corner Punch; CM Corner Rounder Punch.

Time to check out the other Team Member's awesome creations!

Here's what Kelly sent me for our February Aloha RAK...
Dozens of Hanna Stamp images!!! I am going to have sooo much fun coloring all of these - coloring helps me relax, so these are perfect for me right now ;)

Project 365 time!!!
This past Happy Tuesday was also DH's 33rd Birthday!
The boys usually go to the Hallmark section and buy the $1 cards... but now they don't want to anymore - they want to make their own ;) "It's more special", they both said, lol!
They have been stamping more than I have!!! lol!
For DH's Birthday's, we usually use whatever leftover stuff we have from the boys parties, hee hee! This year, DH had a Diego/Batman party :)
... no, I didn't make the cake either... but it was sooo delish!!!
Present time!!! We, I mean... DH got the Wii from the boys and I... the family came through with a few accessories and games to go along ;) Thanx guys!!!
Last week, I finally said, 'Enough!' Your hair is just waaay too long!
So, the boys finally got their haircuts! Aren't they cute?! Nicky wasn't too happy with cutting away his skater-look... but he was happy with the way the hairdresser gave him a different type of skater-look... lol, a cleaner kind! ;) He got to keep his hair a bit longer on top...
That's my boy trying to be a skateboarder - thanks to his Titi Sara and Tio Sean, they really came through at Christmas...
... and FINALLY! I received my Project 365 kit!!! Look at all the cool stuff it came with! I'm so excited to finally be able to really put it all together!
I must admit, I haven't done every single day, but I've come pretty close to it! I'll be adding more journaling and embellies to make up for missing spots... or maybe I will just do the days I have and add in next year too :)
Thanks for passing through :)
