Sissy's Scrap Challenge #7 and Flowers

Hi there!!! TGIF!!!
Have y'all been having Blogger/Explorer problems too??? This is the first time that I have been able to log on without any problems - sheesh! So sorry to be posting my stuffs so late, but here it is ;)

Challenge #7 for Sissy's Scrap is to create a project that is NOT a layout or card inspired by... FAVORITES!!!

... it can be a compilation of personal favorites, someone else's favorites, whatever you'd like, just remember, no Layouts or cards!
I hope y'all can make a lil time over this holiday weekend to join in and play with us!!! :)

Let's see... I have sooo many favorites things - it's too hard to narrow it down... so, I'm using my #1 inspiration, my boys! and another fave - Cosmo Cricket DP to help!

A new fave of mine is altering anything that I can get my hands on ;)
... AND as long as I stay away from bows - ribbon is really working for me too!

Sooo, here we have to gorgeous lil boys sitting in some very plain shadow box frames...

... and look at them now!
I think that they look a bit more cheery now :)
Frame Details:
Paper(s): Cosmo Cricket Lil' Man DP
Accessories: We R Memory Keepers 'White Out' Layered Chipboard Words; Me & My Big Ideas Soft Spoken 'Oh Brother' embellishments; Stampin Up Ribbon; other misc. ribbon.
I also wanted to share the details to the pic I showed y'all the other day - when Blogger/Explorer were behaving ;)
This was an idea that I had for Nicky's PreK Teachers for Teacher's Appreciation Week, but never got to it... last Monday, I got a class note from his school stating that on Wednesday they were going to do a ceremony in honor of Memorial Day - the students were being asked to bring in a flower to place at the memorial/flag and to wear red, white and blue... I just knew that I had to make this! and it took me 4 hours! LOL!
I overworked and overheated my poor lil Slice machine, lol! It made 42 individual flowers - creating 2 of the first flower, 8 of the second flower and 10 of the last flower = 20 in total!!!
I attached a tag to each flower - each one of his classmates and teacher's received their own personalized flower. That was the hardest part - stamping their names onto the tags and then tying the tags onto the flowers! Next time, I'll scribble the names on ;) LOL!
It made me happy to know that every kid in class was able to participate and enjoy the festivities!
Details:
Paper(s): Creative Imaginations
Stamp(s): Stampin Up 'Short & Sweet' Set; Hero Arts Clear Stamps; K&Company Alpha Stamps.
Ink(s): Stampin Up Basic Black Markers; Spica Black Glitter Marker
Accessories: $1 dollar 'House' pencil holder from Michael's; Red Chenille Stems; Stampin Up Bold Brights Buttons; misc. ribbons; All Natural Accents Red Hibiscus Flowers; Dew Drops; Making Memories Slice Wedding and Basics 1 Cartridges.
... and thanks to y'all for stopping by :)
Enjoy your loooong holiday weekend!
Happy Memorial Day!!!
