I'm barely whispering...

Happy Sunday :)

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their beautiful weekends!
And look at me! I survived my Craft Fair, lol! Being sick while trying to mingle and talk with people was not easy, but with the help of my sis, I survived and had fun! Yes, I'm paying the price today with a severe case of laryngitis, coughing and the body aches, but it was all worth it ;)  On the plus side, all of my boys are being so well behaved and understanding and have even found that I can be quite entertaining trying to communicate with them using hand gestures and drawing pics!!! LOL!

Here are a few other things that I was sellling at my table yesterday using my new fave thing, Modge Podge!...

Another pic frame...

I used My Mind's Eye, MFT Die-namics and Prima

Notebook using Cosmo Cricket and my Slice...

My Mad Hatter inspired notebook using G45...

And here's a pic of ALL my boys visiting us at our table :)

My sister, Sarabeth, was such a HUGE help! I really couldn't have done it without her!
THANK YOU lil sissy :*)

OH! And a few quick challenge reminders! I cannot believe how I've missed out on this week!

November's Color Combo: Brown, Creme with a mix of your choice of another color!

And...
Oh, Alice! Chapter 39: Nothin' but Tea and Time on our hands...
"An inspiration piece that looks like a watch , but in this case, the face of "Father Time" is the Mad Hatter himself."

Thanks so much for everyone's love, support, comments!!!
You are all SO very appreciated!!!
I am very much looking forward to starting a new week
and getting better and on track again!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! hugs :*)

{Tap, Tap} Is This Thing On?!

G'morning!!!
Lookie here! I think I'm finally posting problem-free! LOL! Maybe I shouldn't say it too loud or I'll jinx myself again ;)
To put it nicely, the last few days have been quite interesting, but my non-techie self seems to have resolved my laptop/blogger/pic problems by updating a few things and it feels like it may have done the job now {crossing fingers and toes!}

With all of this stuff going on, my mojo has skipped out on me a bit, but I feel him lurking ;) I was able to completely finish my first knitted scarf!!! It's pink and white with a few defects, lol! but it's my first one and I'm actually very happy with the results. I'll prob post pics on FB later today :)

So I just wanted to pop in and share a few quick things with you and then grab mojo for a quick hot cocoa and convince him to stay for a bit of coloring and paper fun ;)

Here are 2 cards that I created a while ago;
these are the ones that I had created for TGF's Critter Crew DT Call Out :)

This is sweet "Randy with Flower" Digi, isn't he the cutest?!
I just love his lil outfit! Reminds me a bit of the Mad Hatter :)

... and this adorable lil guy is "Valentine Bertie", doesn't he just melt your heat?!
My lil guy is saving this one for him to use for Valentine's Day! LOL! I wonder who he will give it too...???

AND! Lookie here!
My lil sis is getting her crafty groove back on...

Swappin' Scraps is back!
Email Sarabeth {sarabeth(dot)burke(at)yahoo(dot)com} to get the deets, sign up and be added to the list!
Stay tuned to her blog, Chronicles of Sarita, for more details on the "Rules and Fun!"

AND! AND! AND!
COMING SOON! Scrap Happie Designs by Sarabeth Burke
Handmade Mini Embellie Kits and Skethes made by my lil sis, just for $7!!!
How cool is that?!?! :)

I've got loads of stuff toget done in the next few weeks! In November, I will be doing my very first Craft Fair! It's at Nicky's elementary school! and I'm SO excited to finally be on the other side of the table! I wonder if I'll sell anything :) I can't wait to see!

That's it for me today!
I'm SO happy to get things rolling again!
Happy Monday to you all :*)

See these two cuties???

They are the reason why I haven't creatd, posted, etc. and also, why I completely forgot to pick a winner for my blog candy! Yes, I just pulled the "cute face" card! LOL! It's all their fault! See those faces??? Who can resist letting take up all of my time this week! ha!

I'm happy to say that we've really really really taken full advantage of our last week of summer vacay :)
And now I can honestly say that we are looking forward to getting on a real schedule and moving forward and enjoying school and time together (1 1/2 hours alone time per day for me, yippee! lol!) It's going to be all good! and we're going to love and appreciate one another even more so ;)

BTW - Lil sissy Sara took her final tonight! Woo hoo!
Can't wait to hear all about it tomorrow!

I'll be back by noon EST tomorrow to announce the winner!

Thank you ALL for all of your sweet comments and support!

Merry Christmas Eve!!! It's finally here! The...
Die Cuts R Us Design Team Holiday Blog Hop!!!

To start at the beginning of the hop, please go to the Die Cuts R Us DT Blog... otherwise, you should have just left my lil sisters blog, Sarabeth of Scrap Happie :)

Don't forget to leave a lil love on each of the DT's blogs and grab your "keywords" to unscrable the phrase and be entered to win a gift fromt he Die Cuts R Us Store!!!

The team was asked to use their fave products from the Die Cuts R Us Store... Do you know how hard this was to do?!?! I couldn't just go WITH (<--- keyword!) one product!

Now, if you know me, you know that I am a Twilight-a-holic ;) and lil' Edward from The Greeting Farm is my boyfriend! hee, hee! Especially when he is colored in with my beloved Copic Markers and Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Markers! Add in some Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly DP and The Robin's Nest Dew Drops and I am in heaven!!!

See?! Edward always sparkles just for me :)
This card was also inspired by Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge 53!

... and then I did needed to take a lil break from the holidays to enjoy some December birthdays...
This is my first time inking up this handsome guy - The Greeting Farm's Twinkle Tots "Max" Rubber Stamp - paired him up with Cosmo Cricket's Boyfriend DP and Cuttlebug's Stars Embossing Folder!
Perfect birthday card!
This card was created using The Greeting Farm's Christmas Sketch #2!

Getting back into the holiday spirit... I always turn to my Memento Ink, Copic Markers and Dew Drops to get my mojo flowing...
I also turn to sketches ;)
This card was inspired by The Greeting Farm's Christmas Sketch #3!

And last, but certainly not least! I finally digged into some new faves!!! Bo Bunny DP, Neenah Paper, May Arts Ribbon and my Nestabilities!!!  I don't think I'll ever created another card without using my Nestabilities ;) and I used The Greeting Farm's Christmas Sketch #1!

There ya go! Now you know my favorite must haves when I am getting my scrappy groove on!!!

OH! Don't forget to also enter Die Cuts R Us' Epic Six Die Cutting Tool Contest HERE!

Your next stop is the very wonderful, sweet and talented Jessica of The Whimsical Butterfly

Happy Halloween Blog Hop Part 2 ~ Updated info & new cards!

Hi again! Hope y'all are having fun with the Happy Halloween Hop!!!

*** Sorry, but I forgot to mention before that Sara is having a challenge with a prize to offer too :)
Please check HERE for more info and also for the correct links and lineup to the hop and excuse those who decided to do differently...

Here are the last of my Halloween cards :)
I've already stored away most of my Halloween stamps for next year! LOL! Here's a spooky pumpkin stamp from Dog Gone Stamps, so much fun to color in... I also fell in love with this paper from Making Memories! Totally neglected my BasicGrey for it! Gasp! I know! LOL!
... and Halloween wouldn't be complete without my lil Edward getting all inked up too :)
... and of course I just had to add in lil Edward's friends!!!
... and lil Matt had to create his own card! Not bad for a 3yo! All I did was trace the lil vampire in with my glitter markers for him! The rest he did himself! a nice one layer card with window and then decorated on the inside with dp! Very clever! I'll have to case this one ;)
Thanks for stopping in The Happy Halloween Hop :)
... and also thank you for the sweet comments regarding Part 1 of my post!!!
If you missed it, just keep on scrolling down or click HERE!
Have a Happy and safe Halloween :)

Operation Nice Blog Hop!!!

My beautiful lil sister, Sara of Scrap Happie, decided to do something NICE and share it with everyone!
Operation NICE Blog Hop is just a way of us scrappy bloggers getting together to spread the thoughtfulness of sharing something nice you’ve done for someone and then pass it on...

I am your 2nd stop for today, and the Hop officially starts at Noon EST :)
If you want to start at the beginning, please click on this banner, which will also be your last spot of the hop:

I wanted to share with you, something nice that I had made back in May...
I created these bunch of flowers for my DS's Pre-K class for a Memorial Day service that they were having... my son was worried that not all of his friends were going to have special flowers to put on the memorial and give thanks to people who help us live our lives as nice as possible :)
The teacher's were very happy and grateful for the flowers - there were a handful of kids that did not have anything and this gave them the chance to participate in something quite memorable...
Flower & Vase Details:
Paper(s):
Creative Imaginations DP
Stamp(s): SU 'Short & Sweet' Set; Hero Arts Clear Stamps; K&Company Alpha Stamps.
Ink(s): SU Basic Black Markers; Spica Black Glitter Marker
Accessories: $1 dollar 'House' pencil holder from Michael's; Red Chenille Stems; SU Bold Brights Buttons; misc. ribbons; All Natural Accents Red Hibiscus Flowers; Dew Drops; Making Memories Slice Wedding and Basics 1 Cartridges.

Ok, now it's time to move on to the very sweet Cheryl of Take a Second Glantz :)

I have more to share with y'all over the weekend :)
Sit back, relax and enjoy the rest of your hop!!!
... and don't forget to do something nice ;)
