Just popping in to share what I've been up to the last 2 days :)
Other than being sick {ugh!} I've been trying to get my things together for my Craft Fair that is on this Saturday! and have created some fun frames too!

These pics don't show the details very well - I painted the backsides, Modge Podge-ed the front sides and added acetate to the windows to keep the pics safe from dust ;) They are a bit on the simple/plain side, but I think that they turned out pretty well :)

Back to School with Harry!!!

Hey! It's Wednesday already! How cool is that?! :)

I have a lil postcard to share with you today!

First, I'd like to mention that I would like to enter my lil postcard to the following challenges:
- Pixie Dust Studio Challenge #38: "Back to School"
- The Pink Elephant Challenge #83: "Back to School"
- Allsorts Challenges Week #68: "New Beginnings"
- Crazy 4 Challenges #53: Book Related
- Our Creative Corner ABCs and 123s: Use Letters and/or Numbers
- Fussy and Fancy Challenge #18: "Back to School"

I made this to slip into Nicky's lunchbox yesterday - a little note to let him know that we were thinking of him, a lil encouragement to get help him get thru the rest of his day and wishing him the best for first day of school ever ;)

He loves anything to do with Harry Potter! (Even though I haven't let them watch all the movies yet! Just the first 2!) I knew that Harry would be the best way to go... plus, it's small enough to use as a bookmark too ;)

.... sigh... I know, I have such bad handwriting! lol! But it's mine, and I know that he'll appreciate it more rather than seeing something from the printer ;)

These delish school-ish papers are Bo Bunny's "Learning Curve" Cut Outs and my (actually, lil sis') EK Success border punch and The Paper Studio's sentiment stamp!
No embellies, he doesn't like any kind of ribbon on his cards, lol! and I didn't want to make it any thicker than the layers that are on there already...

You can find Harry Potter and his friends from Hogwarts
at the Pixie Dust Studio HERE!!!

Thanks so much for looking! Have a fab day :)
See you tomorrow for a fun-filled day of challenges!!!

Summer-time FUN!!!

I have a quickie Monday post :)
We had such a busy weekend full of fun stuff and also got stuck under a freaky storm yesterday, feeling the aches and pains of being drenched in very cold water, LOL! and today we 2 lil friends playing over for the afternoon! I love seeing how these ages (3 - 6 1/2) interact with each other! Too cute :)

So, here are some more of the cards that I created during my time with InStyle Stamp's Promo DT :)
Some summer-y themed cards! I had so much fun creating these!!!

This is "Surfer Dude" (a Retro Rubber Stamp)... isn't he handsome!

Here's "Sofie(an Anime Rubber Stamp)... I love how the gem swirl goes so well...
I really wish I had an airbrush system, would've made a really cool back ground to do some swirls or something... what do you think???

And "Tatiana" (an Anime Rubber Stamp)... I adore lil girls with any type of pony or pigtails! So cute!

That's it for now! I hope you likey them all :)
I have a HUGE scrappy mess to clean up! My mess is all over and under my desk, small shelf, a chair that I borrowed from my bedroom and now a quater of the living room floor! LOL! It's not fun to have to use my die-cutting machine on the floor! and I refuse to stretch out my mess even further, it's time to CLEAN UP!!! LOL!
Happy Monday everyone!!!

Die Cuts R Us Challenge ~ A Gift

Good Tuesday morning to you all!!!
... and boy, do I have a busy fun-filled day to share with you!!! This is the first post of 3 for today :)

Today's Die Cuts R Us Challenge is to create a...
Handmade Gift

This is why I love our challenges so much! They really do challenge me in such a good way :)
I couldn't decide what to create and had so many ideas... I finally settled on altering this wood box I've had for a while...

The box measures approximately 9x11, I know! odd measurements, lol! Mom's birthday is tomorrow, I'm planning on filling the box with some of her favorite goodies and a few cards and drawings made by our boys :)

I used my BasicGrey Eskimo Kisses 6x6 pad and finally opened my secret stash of Bo Bunny flowers ;)

And if you know me, I LOVE using dewdrops and/or gems... the new dew drops are a lil larger, but perfect for anything too!

Here's a close up pic - I was trying to capture the light on where I used the Diamond Glaze on the Candy Cane ;)

Goodie Box Details:
Paper(s): BasicGrey Eskimo Kisses 6x6 DP; Bazzill CS; PTI White CS
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm "Candy Cane Snack" Digital Image
Ink(s): Copic Markers; Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Markers
Accessories: Spellbinders Labels Eight Nestabilities; Bo Bunny "Tis the Season" Flowers; The Robin's Nest Dew Drops; Corner Punch; Diamond Glaze; misc heart ribbon

Hope y'all likey ;)
Please go take a peek at what the rest of the Die Cuts R Us DT created for this week!!!
