Say Cheese!

Just popping in to share what I've been up to the last 2 days :)
Other than being sick {ugh!} I've been trying to get my things together for my Craft Fair that is on this Saturday! and have created some fun frames too!

These pics don't show the details very well - I painted the backsides, Modge Podge-ed the front sides and added acetate to the windows to keep the pics safe from dust ;) They are a bit on the simple/plain side, but I think that they turned out pretty well :)

Trying to catch up while taking a break...

Happy late Thursday ;)
Yes! I'm still here, kinda, lol! I've been feeling better, but really tired and wiped out. So, I've been taking it easy and just trying to catch up on all of my half-a$$ projects ;)
Yes, I am a combo of two bad personality traits - procrastinator and starting things and then not finishing them in an appropriate allotted time frame... sometimes they get finished and sometimes they get re-used onto other projects ;) lol! I'm being really honest here! I have 6 cards, 4 layouts and use to be 3, but now 2 altered items and one mini album to finish!!!
So, this list is my to-do list!!! and I won't start anything new until they are ALL done ;)

Sooo, here's something I started last month... and just finished today! Yippee!!!
I altered a tin that was the packaging to some SU felt flowers that I had received in a RAK... Until today, all it had was the dp on it...
I think that I am finally getting use to using my blender now ;)
Here's the inside! I decided to create and give this as a belated B'day gift to someone - who doesn't love a whole tin full of Greeting Farm images ;) Altered Tin Details:
Paper(s): Me & My Big Ideas DP; Papertrey Ink White CS; SU Green CS
Stamp(s): The Greeting Farm Tennis Anya Digital Stamp
Ink(s): Copics
Accessories: Prima Flowers; The Robin's Nest Dew Drops; Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder; Small Round Nestabilities; Creative Memories Round Corner Punch.
Thanks for stopping by today :)
FYI!!!
Ontop of everything else that has been going on around me...
I may be having some "technical difficulties" for the next 2 or 3 week's - personal reasons...
I won't be posting as much until everything is solved ;)
Hope y'all will understand and will be patient with me!!!
Thanks!!! :*)

Sissy's Scrap Challenge #7 and Flowers

Hi there!!! TGIF!!!
Have y'all been having Blogger/Explorer problems too??? This is the first time that I have been able to log on without any problems - sheesh! So sorry to be posting my stuffs so late, but here it is ;)

Challenge #7 for Sissy's Scrap is to create a project that is NOT a layout or card inspired by... FAVORITES!!!

... it can be a compilation of personal favorites, someone else's favorites, whatever you'd like, just remember, no Layouts or cards!
I hope y'all can make a lil time over this holiday weekend to join in and play with us!!! :)

Let's see... I have sooo many favorites things - it's too hard to narrow it down... so, I'm using my #1 inspiration, my boys! and another fave - Cosmo Cricket DP to help!

A new fave of mine is altering anything that I can get my hands on ;)
... AND as long as I stay away from bows - ribbon is really working for me too!

Sooo, here we have to gorgeous lil boys sitting in some very plain shadow box frames...

... and look at them now!
I think that they look a bit more cheery now :)
Frame Details:
Paper(s): Cosmo Cricket Lil' Man DP
Accessories: We R Memory Keepers 'White Out' Layered Chipboard Words; Me & My Big Ideas Soft Spoken 'Oh Brother' embellishments; Stampin Up Ribbon; other misc. ribbon.
I also wanted to share the details to the pic I showed y'all the other day - when Blogger/Explorer were behaving ;)
This was an idea that I had for Nicky's PreK Teachers for Teacher's Appreciation Week, but never got to it... last Monday, I got a class note from his school stating that on Wednesday they were going to do a ceremony in honor of Memorial Day - the students were being asked to bring in a flower to place at the memorial/flag and to wear red, white and blue... I just knew that I had to make this! and it took me 4 hours! LOL!
I overworked and overheated my poor lil Slice machine, lol! It made 42 individual flowers - creating 2 of the first flower, 8 of the second flower and 10 of the last flower = 20 in total!!!
I attached a tag to each flower - each one of his classmates and teacher's received their own personalized flower. That was the hardest part - stamping their names onto the tags and then tying the tags onto the flowers! Next time, I'll scribble the names on ;) LOL!
It made me happy to know that every kid in class was able to participate and enjoy the festivities!
Details:
Paper(s): Creative Imaginations
Stamp(s): Stampin Up 'Short & Sweet' Set; Hero Arts Clear Stamps; K&Company Alpha Stamps.
Ink(s): Stampin Up Basic Black Markers; Spica Black Glitter Marker
Accessories: $1 dollar 'House' pencil holder from Michael's; Red Chenille Stems; Stampin Up Bold Brights Buttons; misc. ribbons; All Natural Accents Red Hibiscus Flowers; Dew Drops; Making Memories Slice Wedding and Basics 1 Cartridges.
... and thanks to y'all for stopping by :)
Enjoy your loooong holiday weekend!
Happy Memorial Day!!!

Sissy's Scrap Free For All Themed Challenge#1!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

It's time for another Sissy's Scrap Challenge!!! :)
This week's Free For All Themed Challenge is...
PLAY BALL!!!

It's an open theme based on Balls! (LOL!)
It can be anything from circles, playing with a ball, round objects, sports, etc...

Now, if y'all know me - I don't like or do well with anything involving circles! LOL! and yet, I was the one who chose the theme! I just had to challenge myself and get over my fear of round things ;) LOL! SO silly!!!

I made 2 layouts...
Here's a layout for Matt:I loved working with the All Stars Digi Stamps! I am new to the whole Digi thing... I was able to make the stamps any size! I printed them out in black and white, since at first, I wasn't sure if I wanted any color... I ended up using my Copics :) I love how bold they are!I adore these lil stick-figure's! I must get more ;)
Look at Matt's face! Concentrating so hard... I really think that he's trying not to laugh :) rather than trying to catch the ball! LOL!
Here's a layout for Nicky:
OhMyGosh! Look at that serious, determined face! He is really loving baseball! His first practice and game is tonight :)
(2) 12x12 Layout Details:
Paper(s): White Bazzill; Paper House Productions - Baseball; Frances Meyer - Bulk, Baseballs.
Stamp(s):
My Graphico: All Stars Digi Stamps by Sanqunetti Designs; K&Company Marcella Condensed Alpha Stamps.
Ink(s): Palette Noir Black; Copic Markers; Spica Glitter Black Marker.
