Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #20!!! We are already up to 20! Time really does fly! ;)
This weeks theme was chosen by Jen of Deconstructing Jen...
"I thought it would be fun to focus a little on the new scenery we will be seeing in New Moon (only 269 days): Italy. Specifically Volterra square. I’m excited that we’ll be seeing one of the most picturesque beautiful landscapes in the world with some of the riches historic architecture ever created."
Comment Portion:
Tell us if you have been to Italy...? If so, what did you like best? Have you been to Volterra? and/or what are you hoping the director of New Moon will capture about Italy...?Craft Portion:
"Revel in the beauty of Italy!" Showcase the landscape, culture, food, music... anything that breathes the essence of Italy.
I've never been to Italy - Oh how I wish!!! Italy is definitely on my top 3 places to visit in this lifetime ;)
I really do hope that the director for New Moon can really capture the intensity of those Volterra scenes and also the beauty surrounding them at the same time. Although, to be honest, I'm sure that while watching the movie, especially for the first time, all eyes should be on Edward ;)
Unfortunately, I do not have a TTIC20 project to share with you... BUT I do have my Twilight Tuesday Sketch Challenge :)
I've really been enjoying making all different sized layouts lately... I hope I didn't stray too far from the original sketch... I tried to keep the 4 panels and definitely the hearts... I have been dying to use these papers!!! ...and they weren't very easy to work with!
The gold/turquoise DP is very delicate, kinda feels like a very thin piece of foil - I had to be extremely careful not to tear it apart... and the red scroll DP is also very thin, almost see-through, it's a velvety kind of paper - extremely soft to the touch! Both were also very difficult to adhere, lol!, there is all kinds of different adhesives holding this together! 48 hours later, nothing has fallen apart :)
12x12 Twilight Tuesday Sketch Layout Details:
