Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge#30 and Cute Card Thursday Challenge#58

*Ack! I knew I was forgetting something!!! This post has been edited to include my entry for Cute Card Thursday Challenge #58 themed "Mirror, Mirror" - use something shiny!!!
LOL! I really need to ease up on the NyQuil! ;)
Happy Cinco de Mayo! Sorry I'm a bit late on posting my stuffs today! It's been rough around here and I'm trying to not fall behind ;)
Being sick sucks!
I keep forgetting half the things I want to do!!!
It's a good thing that I haven't misplaced my boys ;)
Our Dani of Count Your Beautiful Blessings chose one of the best Twilight scenes for us to work with this week!!! Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #30...

The Ballet Studio Scene
"I thought this room would be visually dramatic for my little film. That’s why I picked this place to meet you. It’s perfect, isn’t it?"
~ James, Twilight, Chapter 22, p.449

Craft Portion: Create a project that shows your favorite part(s) of the Ballet Studio Scene.

Comment Portion: How do you feel about this scene from Twilight... Was it scary enough? Suspenseful? Do you think Edward made the right decision to keep Bella from turning into a vamp???
*I was also inspired by Cute Card Thursday Challenge #58 - "Mirror, Mirror" - use something shiny!!! and that is exactly what came to my mind when I thought about this scene - Mirrors!!!
Ok, first of all... who can resist a bad guy when he looks like Cam/James??? It would've been really interesting if the Cullens' would have been able to change James' diet ;)
This scene is the best one in the whole movie! They captured the moment and suspense perfectly! I loved the mirror effects - very eerie and creepy...
I created an 8x8 layout based on the mirrors in the dance studio...
I used an Aluminum Metallic Sheet from Making Memories... I have the 2 band aids to prove it, LOL!
It was hard to take pics with the flash on... It was heart wrenching when Edward picked up Bella and told her he was sorry...
8x8 Layout Details:
Paper(s): DCWV Metallic Stack CS; Bazzill; Making Memories Aluminum Metallic Sheet.
Stamp(s): ~
Ink(s): Spica Glitter Markers; StazOn Black.
Accessories: 7gypsies Arabian Night Etchings/Rubbings from Scrapaholics; Prima Flowers; Dew Drops; Fiskar Lace Corner Punch; SU Corner Punch; CM Corner Rounder Punch.

Time to check out the other Team Member's awesome creations!
Beth, Stamp Insanity
Rebecca, Bella Carta
Sorry! I cannot contain myself!!!
I must toot my own lil horn ;)
Check me out!!!
Thanks everyone!
See y'all tomorrow for Sissy's Scrap Challenges!

cool layout, Margie. Your really captured the "mirror, mirror" aspect to the challenge!! Your layout definitely has a reflective look to it.

I thought James was actually the cutest of all the vampires. Too bad he died or whatever vampires do.

I'm sorry you're still sick. yeah, being sick sucks. Hope you feel better soon!!

Beautiful job! Love this -- you really captured the mirrored look of the ballet studio. Good thing that Jasper wasn't around while you were making this since you drew BLOOD!

And I meant to add -- get better soon!

Ooooh, I love the mirrors. I remember in the director's commentary that Catherine said "If you ever think about filming in a room of mirrors,. . .don't" She said that it was extremely hard not to catch a glimpse of the cameras or crew reflecting in one of the many mirrors. Great job on your scrap page, it has a really cool look to it.
